The best souvlaki so far ! Great size and very tasty . The potato cakes are battered locally on site unlike other places with pre brought ones. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Lovely food, call in here for a treat now and then for a sausage and chips, always seems to be busy which just indicates how nice the food is but also the staff are always friendly, fast and hard working. Natalie behind the counter even clocked me as that lollypop man on our last visit. Fab plaice.

The staff were absolutely lovely. We were in the café side and the food was gorgeous. The cafe it's self is really clean and tidy,service is fast and efficient. Good value for money and other options besides the chippy menu to eat,even a cake selection. Decent size cup of tea to accompany the meal. Really pleasant lunch out. First time I had been but my friend has been regularly and I would definitely go back. Well worth a visit.

This chippy is the best ive been too the chips are superb like the ones you had when you were a kid. They cater for everyone they even do chinese curry and boiled rice and their crispy deep fried chicken breast is perfect. The ladies in this chippy are always really pleasant and polite bringing a good vibe when they serve you! The fish is delicious but as mentioned the chips are the best!!! Proper northern chippy chips!! Its a perfect little gem of a chippy the queue out the door on a fri eve confirms that too!!! Love this chippy and the service by the lovely ladies.

Food ok but be careful on car park Parked truck which was slightly on the line and got a ticket

They only do a regular and a small size fish - no large. The skin was greasy and very soggy. No crispiness what so ever. It just fell to bits. You know it’s bad when the skin peels off the fish as you unwrap the paper and film. The chips were the same, greasy and soggy. It was cheap but I’d rather pay a few extra quid for some better quality. The English curry sauce was the only thing that wasn’t bad. Overall, disappointed.

Called me n this morning after a medical appointment in town. Very friendly staff and great service. I had a bacon and sausage barm, with a coffee. My wife had a small breakfast and a can of coke. The food was fresh and very well cooked. The staff were quite amused by my wife, who likes to put sugar on her baked beans and toast ! Will definitely be back again. Highly recommended it !

The staff that work here are very unhygenic. If your sick you should NOT BE WORKING with a sore throat coughing around. On the hand another member of staff cleaning their hands on the side of her hip?!!! Disgusting!! Please do not eat from here, it looks like the staff never wash their hands.

The girls are an absolute credit to this place, very friendly. The food is amazing aswell, very cheap. 👏

Stumbled upon this place after doing a drop in Rochdale. Fantastic food and fantastic prices, chip shops are pretty expensive down South so that was a real surprise. The staff were really nice and I've already saved them in my favourites on my sat nav. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area next.

It was ok, my fish even though I had to wait for it to be cooked fresh, it had soggy batter.

Had fish and chips with mushy peas, very bland and tasteless, very surprised considering the other high reviews,had to queue on Friday which usually means it is going to be good, but unfortunately not in this case. Never eaten mushy peas with no taste before, will not be returning.

Love heywood fish bar and the cafe next door. The homemade cheese and onion pies are lovely! We’re spoilt for choice in heywood with these lovely places to eat. Ged and Emma do a fantastic job. ☺️

This is the best fish and chips shop in all of heywood! It’s amazing and they produce amazing quality food at great prices! Defiantly recommend to anyone nearby!!

Slightly underwhelmed, queued up for 15 minutes only to have my fish pinched for someone who was eating in the sit down area. When I finally got my fish n chips it was very greasy and not much fish in and amongst the oily batter, shame .

I regularly drive from to rochdale. Superb food...best chippy I've ever used Superb home made cheese and onion pie chips that are cooked to perfection..you simply cannot buy better..... at all anywhere!!. I drive from Rochdale a few miles passing a few chippys but trust me... its worth it...

1st time visit - would definitely recommend fish, chips n peas. Fish lovely and white inside and batter perfectly cooked. Had to queue, but totally expected as good friday - well worth the wait....
