Best fish I've had for a long time. Fast efficient service. Good value.

Pie was OK, also got curry and chips which was terrible, chips not cooked! Curry tasted like dye, terrible and inedible, hope the seagulls enjoyed it

Spicy curry was very bland. Chips weren't cooked well, some still hard ones even with curry sauce over them. Rice was OK, nothing special.

The food was decidedly 'meh'. Wife had chicken nuggets and chips, I had doner wrap and chips. Both lots of meat were bland and tasteless. Chips were okay but certainly weren't going to win any chippie awards either. Fine if you need something to eat whilst you're filling up the 'leccy car and Subway' s already shut next door, but certainly never going to be on anyone's 'let's go here for tea' list.

Friendly staff, but the chips are always badly undercooked. Pale yellow, soggy. Just not cooked enough. Todays portion went straight in the bin after trying two chips.

I go here quite often and so do my colleagues as customer normally once or twice a week . Food good however went there this evening I was desperate for the loo and was refused I explained I suffer from crohns disease and I'm a regular in there . They refused point blank n said customer toilets are for customers. Well the just lost 10 or 20 customers there . As we won't go there again what happened to people looking out for eachother . Scousers are known for sticking together . Humanity is gone and financial gain took over . Very disappointed!

Without doubt , the best fish and chips with a choice of spicy curry or fruity curry 😊, seriously this place is on point, always fresh fish cooked to perfection, and I mean always, the consistency is there ! It's actually won awards for best fish and chips, plus you can buy a half fish if that's all you can eat or afford. Brilliant chippy

Went at 6.25pm after a rush to gwy there, as I was out of time at 7pm, says closes at 8!!! Not impressed, doubt I will go again or recommend it!

Had pie chips and curry sauce x2. Pies dry and average, mass of chips covered in so much salt were inedible. Curry sauce worst I have had . Sorry but you need to know.

LOVE this place! The shop looks spotless clean & the food looks fresh. I've ate here a few times and would definitely recommend the fish and beef burgers. Great portion sizes. Good prices. The staff always have a smile on their face and are polite and personable. You are able to eat inside as they have tables and stools. Car park on site. The usual bank cards are accepted

Awesome fresh fish, big portions, tasty and hearty. Friendly staff. Burger meal was also excellent No reason not to be satisfied with this experience.

We don't live to close to this wonderful Chippy, but look forward to going there when we can, the fish & chips is amazing can't wait until our next visit.

Amazing staff, amazing atmosphere. Food was AMAZING! The staff obviously loved their job, their customers and have a real passion. Fish was just perfection too. We don't usually sit in places to eat but it was very inviting, felt like we knew the staff for years. We'll 100% be back again!!! Such a hidden gem. I'd say it's one of the best fish and chips I ever had. You guys have a very special place here!

Funny how all the the rubbish reviews are on whilst the owner is on holiday and closed the shop. Must have been hungry and upset. So decided to leave a bad review whilst it’s closed. Funny some people ay.

Always busy, food is always hot and fresh, always find it a bit of a wait but that's okay as you know it's fresh. Menu is huge you can get anything and meal deals, car park outside and the salt and pepper three meat is a nice Friday payday treat.

We have stopped here many times on the way back from the city and it really is the best. I have never had a bad meal here and the chips are fresh whatever time of day we visit. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

We had heard about this place from a number of friends. They said best fish & chips ever. We thought yeah right. Just called in on way past. Chips where fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Freshly cooked and very hot. Tasted delicious. Fish was meaty, the batter was crispy. Very good value for money & in a cardboard box. Staff where very friendly and we had a laugh with good Scouse humour. Plenty of parking. Will definitely being going again.

Me and my family have been visiting the heritage for the last 9yrs, always clean, friendly staff, lovely family run business. Best salt and pepper chicken and spring rolls in Liverpool, their noodle boxes are boss too. We've always felt very welcomed, we get a service with a smile. Honestly the best chippy around we travel from norris green, its that nice. 10/10 from me.

Made too many excuses for poor service. Bones in the meat for the third time in a row, so won't be going back again. Lacking in people's skills.

I’m a long distance lorry driver and travel to Liverpool docks occasionally. I’ve used this chippy several times as the food is consistently good every time. There are a lot of places I stay clear of, but I always look forward to having Cod chips curry sauce here. Thank you.

Its an important part of catering in the food trade. But it does not bode well when a staff member arrives and immediately touches her hair places on an apron then picks up product with her hands without washing them. Managers remind your staff that perhaps masks and hand washing before touching food would help us not only get sick tummies but the bigger picture too!

My wife and I had a large fish each, chips ( I portion more than enough ) mushy peas and a tub of curry sauce. Excellent

The best Chippy in town. The staff is really helpful and we have friends that live 'down South' and even in Bermuda that wish they lived as close to the Fish & Chip shop as we do. There is a small eat-in area that we have used just a few times, but mostly take advantage of the efficient 'take out' good deals. I am just about to place an order for my wife and I, .and a neighbour. My wife is preparing the bread and butter for our Chip Butties.

I don't know how you lot could give this place 5 stars. "real fish! and real potatoes!" what else would you expect ? It's serviceable but far from great, or even good.

Called in tonight for the first time and it definitely wont be the last. fish chips and mushy peas .salt & pepper chicken balls with fried rice and salt & pepper sui mai absolutely lovely couldn't fault it at all and the girls are very polite 👍

Had the most amazing Cod Chips & mushy peas yesterday the fish batter was to die for. The cod was amazingly brilliant and the chips were superb and cannot wait to visit again and the owners were lovely. Scottish Tommy and Mandi X. Hopefully be back in a few weeks ps meat and tattie pie were also superb and it’s nice to have a pie that’s not fried. Lol take care guys. And thank you for trying to understand my accent
