Excellent food at more than reasonable prices, all of our meals cost under £5 each, we will definitely be returning.

Lovely rolls with sausage, had them a few times now. Excellent, friendly service as well. Use this wee cafe all the time when we stay next door at the PremierInn. 👍

We went there for my daughters birthday meal and the food was excelent and very well presented and at about half the price you would pay in the other over priced restaurants close by we went bowling and to the cinima which are about 50 yards behind the heritage centre. Well worth a visit.

Went today for the 1st time and we will be going back the staff where very friendly & helpful we had a Ploughmans Lunch, a Jacket Potato both garnished with lots of side salads, a sausage, egg chips and peas and a childs meal. The whole lot came to under £10 for the 4 meals and they looked so pretty the way they were presented it was a shame to eat them, I wish I had taken a photo. We want to try everything on the menu , as it was all sooo tasty, it's such good value, give it a go.

I wasn't sure what this building was supposed to be ; but we were hungry and the surrounding area was full of people and cafes etc were very busy. Entering the building was like going into a timewarp circa 1960's 1970's an old greasy spoon cafe. The lady working at the counter was very friendly and we ordered typical comfort food; double egg, chips and peas and burger and chips , bread and butter and drinks. The surroundings were slightly tatty and there were no toilets for the public but the food was delicious and good value for money. We saw the cooked breakfasts that were being served and they looked very good. We enjoyed our meals and they were well cooked but this is not fine dining this is akin to the old transport cafes of old.

The staff here were nice but they have no idea. Everything was bland and tasteless. They're not cooking with the right fats or using the right seasonings. I hope for their own sake they look into getting some more lessons because this place has potential.

There are many Cafes but this one served the best food I've had in years. Special mention for the Bellyfiller breakfast which was a work of art top marks to the chief.

Disappointed with our visit to this cafe/visitor centre. Shop/display area closed off. No customer toilets available. Long wait for food. When served, it was very greasy. Place badly needs refurbishment

A small, compact cafe with a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. Definitely a cut above the average park cafe - nice coffee and a good selection of cakes and traybakes. The breakfasts looked good as well.

I briefly popped into Waterfields today and I was very pleasantly surprised at the selection. The cakes and snacks were extensively stocked behind the counter and were very reasonably priced at under £2 each. I bought a cupcake with vanilla cream on top which was delicious! The staff serving were friendly, polite and efficient. You can also sit in to eat, if you wish. The only issue was that the loaves of bread/toasties were running out, then again it was 3pm so this was understandable. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit!

Expensive for what you get. Service was great but you can feel the place is just designed to get as much money as they can for what little they give

This used to be a good bar but is now just a high priced dog compound. 9 dogs in this very small bar. Wouldn't order food given the smell of dogs and lack of washing of hands by bar staff after feeding treats to the dog. Don't bother, there are better alternatives in Formby.
