Me and my boyfriend were on holiday in Newquay and he googled burger places nearby and this place came up, we both agree that this is the BEST burger & fries we’ve ever had!!! Couldn’t get over how nice it was, and then we heard some guys rave about how good the birthday cake milkshake was, so we grabbed that and it did not disappoint, the guy who worked there told us it was primary school cake blended into it and it was divine!! We will be coming back next time we go newquay 👌🏻

The burgers at this place are amazing. So are the staff, so helpful. Took the outlaws here and wasn't sure if a burger was their thing. They live in Newquay half the year and hadn't eaten here before. They absolutely loved it. They will be back for more. Unfortunately it might be 2025 before we are back. Everything we ordered was spot on. The loaded fries are seriously loaded but are banging! Got stuck in to the burger before I took a picture 🤣

Beautiful burgers. Good gluten free buns, but not-beef patty has barley in. Limited drinks options, but amazing local pale ale available. Chicken burger spectacular. Good fries. Great gravy. Helpful service.

Had a fantastic veggie burger, I usually don’t like “fake beef” patties but this burger was insane. My partner had a burger which was also amazing, exactly what he was craving. Also, the fries were the perfect size, crunch and flavor. This food is made with love. The staff is so lovely and super friendly too, had the best experience here. Would recommend anyone coming or passing by Newquay!

Me and my partner visited Herd last time we were on holiday in Newquay and loved it so much we brought our family back this week to try it, we can all agree that they are the best burgers we’ve ever had! The staff are lovely! The milkshakes are delish! And the brisket fries are the best! Definitely worth a try!!!

Unfortunately there wasn't a single lettuce leaf on the burger and somehow I found it old-fashioned that there were only disposable dishes. It's good that there is also a vegan burger. But there is little choice for vegetarians and vegans. Actually just a burger and fries. So not really a choice.

So, after being told about this place buy a fellow burger lover i had to give it a go, I placed the order on line for collection and the site was simple to navigate and pay. Knowing it would take approximately 40 mins to get to them i booked the order for 8.30pm collect. I turned up 20 mins early to be greeted by really friendly staff that could not do more for you, as i was early the started to cooked it straight away…. I love the fact the kitchens are open to view and both kitchen and restaurant was clean…. After a very short wait my food was ready to take and start the journey back home, got back and food was still hot…. The taste of the burger was amazing loads of flavour and the meat was cooked perfectly!! Same with the brisket fries…. Absolutely on point…. Well worth the money and definitely will be going back again…. 10/10 Well done team keep up the good work… my belly is very happy….

Their fries are a standout too, loaded with brisket, onions, and more, making them more than just a side dish. It's a culinary delight that burger lovers across the UK should hope becomes a franchise soon. A definite must-visit!

It’s good tasting food, there is no doubt in that, but 11 quid for a burger and a burger the size of a Mcdonalds double cheeseburger, for this I can’t justify the price, had fries and gravy also which were superb but totalling 18quid for all! Should have kept the 18 added another 5 and grabbed a steak.

Best Burgers in Cornwall! Me and partner came in with the Baby and Dog and they were great about it. Food was perfect, massive portion of chips which I wish I knew before ordering two lots! Also amazing sauces to compliment the meal! A must if you are in Newquay! 100% will be back again when in Newquay.

Perfect! Went for double beef, beef brisket fries and Oreo milkshake. My word was it good, sadly couldn’t finish it all. Loaded fries were unreal - well worth the trip

Herd burger is fantastic. Quality ingredients with fantastic flavour. Burgers are well balanced and the portion sizes are perfect! Particularly enjoyed their secret sauce and burger mayo really delicious and paired perfectly with their well seasoned fries.

Fabulous quality food. Up there with the best burgers I’ve had. The Herd Burger is a thing of beauty. Not stuffed full of ingredients that sound great but add little. Instead, just a focus on quality and a combination of flavours and ingredients that makes for a stunning burger. The brisket fries were also delicious. Would be great to see some kind of kids meal/specific kids option.

The staff are always helpfull and polite and nothing is too much trouble ,have eaten in there and taken away both experiences where very good and well worth the money, its nothing like the other burger places around here it's great to see a decent burger place in Newquay needs more than a 5 star review .

Excellent shakes, simply the best. But the food is losing its sparkle, on past visits it had been great, but on a recent visit the food wasn't the hottest or even the tastiest which is a shame.

I had heard great things about Herd, was really excited to visit on my latest trip to Cornwall & I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. From such a warm welcome from the staff, a brilliantly chilled atmosphere & fantastic food; it was a great all round visit. I had the Pard burger & brisket fries which were both so tasty; the fries in particular were stunning. You can tell the ingredients are carefully sourced & every element of the dish was complimentary to each other. The real bonus point was the way we were treated by the staff; everyone was so effortlessly polite, knowledgeable about what was being served & incredibly friendly. We really enjoyed chatting to Harriet who was so cool & welcoming & funny - a credit to the Herd team. Thanks all!

Great burgers! I had the herd burger and my husband had the herd with a double patty. Both were delightful. We are looking forward to trying some of their other burgers and the brisket fries.

Absolutely shocking had food there today and should of asked for a refund chicken burger was very dry and the bugger was way over cooked also the chips where severed cold and the glasses that they give you with the cans of drink where filthy was horrible very disappointed would never go back.

I ate a Herd burger and cheese fries… It's really delicious! The bread is crunchy and soft, and the patty is really... It’s full of juicy!! furthermore… The staff are so friendly! Be sure to go! Go back a hundred times! It's nice that the drinks are cheap!

Amazing burgers! Food is really good, friendly service and nice place, liked the music that was playing as well. Quite a basic selection of drinks is the only down side but otherwise will definitely be returning.

I think the burger was really good but to spend 13 quid on a burger and still feel hungry afterwards left me feeling very disappointed, let's be honest the burger was too small, so either make them bigger or Chuck some fries in? Fries don't cost 4 quid it's just a potato for god's sake.

On hols in our fave area again and saw this place, came in last night to try it and wow! The best burger I've have had, so much so came for a repeat today. My problem is now every other burger is gonna be a poor substitute. Hope you prosper in these uncertain times so when we are back we can enjoy your sweet buns of joy 😊

Ok wouldn’t say great, food wasn’t good enough even for a burger and chips to hurry back. Order at table with phone which was ok but price your paying I would expect more customer attention. So again just ok.

Fab to see new places like Herd opening up in Newquay. Unfortunately, my veggie burger was only just warm so had to send it back. It was replaced without issue plus also a free lovely milk shake for the wait. The replacement veggie burger whilst hotter was still not pipping hot, so still slightly disappointing. I would still visit again however. My partners said her non-veggie burger was fab, so serves me right for being a veggie 😂

Have come down to Newquay for a few days for a short break. My partner and I really fancied a burger so searched up local places. We went with Herd and wasn't disappointed. Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere with some music in the background. I went for the double beef (brisket and beef patty), honestly was one of the best burger I have had. The sauce for the brisket was lovely. Had it along side the cheese fries which were also lovely. Couldn't fault anything, was a nice bonus that they had a beer and IPA on tap. Would definitely recommend this place.

Went here for my sisters 22nd birthday and damn I literally cannot believe I haven’t eaten here before!! My parents are always going on about how amazing the burgers were and the gravy so we just had to take my sister there to see if it was truly the hype my parents had made out to us… never the less it really slapped!!! The gravy 11/10, the burger sauce 11/10!!🤤🤤 we tried all sauces for dipping our fries (which btw the portions are giant!), I truly recommend them all, especially the gravy, and I ordered the double beef burger at it was truly out of this world! I highly highly recommend you treat yourself and eat out here:) can’t wait for our next visit 🍔

Fantastic smashed burger style! The buns are perfectly toasted and the meat is perfectly cooked. It's our favorite place to go to in town. The staff members are always nice and welcoming.

I went for the HERD double burger 🍔 it was big and super tasty. The blond chick taking our order couldn't go out of her way more and was super pleasant. Food came quick and the beer on tap is great to. They do a £15 deal before 5pm too..! Would definitely recommend 👌 👍

Staff were all very polite and accommodating, food was great to taste with good portion sizes, also reasonably priced. Everyone from our group of 6 was more than happy with our visit.

First time in Herd since I heard about it on the vine... a burger specialist doing great things we had to try and glad we did. Lovely touches for me were music, couple of beers on tap, dog friendly and lovely open doors so we could catch the afternoon sun. I would say the burgers were unique! Not your cookie cutter uniform patty this was prepared for me and yours would be prepared for you. I went with a brisket burger and my son a double cheese burger. He positively commented and we overheard other kids saying it's better than .... you know the one. I would say there not in the same league. If you lucky you can park outside or Sainsbury's car park is right there. Service was quick food was hot. Jarred served us he's a cool guy couldn't do enough.

Visited while on holiday. Ate in the restaurant. Best burger and chips we've had in ages. Food was cooked fresh, the burger was meaty and juicy, bacon was flavourful, the bun held together and the mustard wasn't too strong. The fries were beautifully crisp and well seasoned. Staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait long. Just sorry we weren't here long enough to go back for a second visit.

The food is lovely but over priced, disappointed the staff didn't point out their offer while ordering with what we ordered, while eating you are thinking "damn this quite small burger is over £10" , probably won't bother to eat there again
