Herby's in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Pedí un buffet que incluía diferentes requisitos dietéticos para unas 40-45 personas. Herby's era absolutamente increíble, mantenían toda la comida separada e incluso tenían información en la parte delantera de cada caja para decir lo que estaba incluido (es decir, soja, gluten). Llamaron para echar un vistazo. ¡Compré un huevo escocés con pudín negro y un pastel de cerdo pequeño! Dios mío, ambos fueron absolutamente brillantes. Definitivamente haremos un esfuerzo para entrar en el casco antes! ¡Muy impresionado!

Apparently renowned for their scotch eggs, I decided to give Herby’s mozzarella variety a go. I couldn’t really taste the cheese all that much, to be honest.

Served by disinterested lady who dropped cakes down on top of counter in scrumpled up paper bag, no please/thank you/good bye…nothing, while another staff member stood close by saying ‘ooo nearly time for me to go home’. Maybe I popped in at the wrong time or didn’t spend enough money. Not inclined to return, takes nothing to say good bye to a paying customer. Cakes were ok, have had much better bakewell slice elsewhere though.

Incredible sandwiches, paninis and sides, lovely staff, very competitively priced. Definitely worth a pop in. Benches along Carr Lane that you can sit and eat at if you wish to.

Fab new premises just down the road from original location. Just down from Primark ! Large selection of samwich fikki gs- sonething foor everyone. Hot and cold fillings. Lots of different deli items too. Efficient and friendly service. Take away only.

Fabulous array of sarnies, sausage rolls and panini- always good value and fab baking- enjoyed the tuna panini

Super disgusted with my sandwich. Paid almost £4 for it and there was barely any filling. Breadcake was hard as a rock. Utterly disappointed

Herby,s just got better- they have larger , new premises which makes it easier to display their range of snadwiches, snacks and deli products. Sandwiches made to order and there is a great choice of different fillings - i am sure you can get ham and chese here, but............ Effcient and friendly service. Competitive pricing for quality product.

Herby's is brillaint for that lunchtime sandwich and always has something that little bit ' different' for the filling- deep filled too. They also have some great things on their deli couner for take away too- different salads and quiches. Flatbreads too. Happy and friendly staff. They have now opened large new premises just down the road from Primark where you can pre order party food too !

love to get a nice cold sandwich from time to time always tasty and staff great nothing too much have plenty of fresh food to choose from

Me and my boyfriend visited earlier for a quick bite to eat. Due to the large variety we were stuck on what to have. We ended up with a pulled pork pizza slice, a chorizo and chicken folded up panini slice kind of thing and a meatball and mozzarella one to share. The pizza; talking in terms of taste was phenomenal and covered with mozzarella. The dough base I found to be incredibly soft making it quite flimsy to hold but would still have again, no doubt about it. The chorizo and chicken (folded panini?) And the meatball and mozzarella one both had a crispy outside and a soft inside both flavours were great, and highly recommend. Now whilst we were waiting for them to be heated up I noticed that they sold pipers crisps and have wanted to try them for a while as they are increasingly poppular. they had multiple flavours around but decided to try the black pepper and salt ones which were situated on the front where you buy your food. 99p? Can't go wrong right? After we left I tried them and was disappointed they weren't exactly 'crispy' as far as crisps go, flavour was okay but they were like they had been left open for ages and seeled again. I checked the date out of curiosity as surely they had to be out of the date. I couldn't imagine so many people would buy these crisps from the shop I work at on a daily basis if this is their normality? And I was correct in thinking that, week out of date. I know you can still eat things past their best before date not use by but if I had known I would not of bought them as I wanted to try the taste of them in date; not the soft slices of potato I had endured. Their was no indication that they were out of date no writing on their little box stand (I went back to check), no sign, no reduced sticker, nothing. Was not told either. Meaning that they're rather winging it so they sell or not checking the stock dates properly. This changed my positive experience drastically as it was the last thing I ate and ended up feeling disappointed. However this product was only being sold by this company not produced, their own food I can't recommend enough but anything else maybe give the date a check before you leave.

Got my lunch from here the sandwich was lovely very fresh and lots of filling the staff were very friendly and very efficient would definitely recommend

We've used Herby's numerous times for quick lunches and even finger food for when friends come over. Their selection of olives and antipasto is fantastic as are their flatbreads, chicken and desserts too.

Do like the Vegetarian rolls from here. Several times i have had doubts about contamination from meat products though.Last Wednesday was my final visit! Member of staff stopped making sandwich order and got my roll.She had gloves on but all the mince type of filling she was putting in the sarnie was on the bag.When i took the roll out it was on it too. Disgusting.I am not risking it anymore. Also how can it be right to wear gloves to handle food and go straight to use the till and handle money,then back to the food.pointless wearing gloves at all!

I've never had bad service at Herby's. Their hot and cold baps and paninis are amazing. Quality meat that actually has taste and doesn't taste rubbery!

Popped in here last weekend for a lunchtime snack. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I then witnessed the lady serving me collect from under the counter, several slices of thinly sliced fatty sandwiche pork and pop it into the microwave. I assumed she was multi tasking and prepping someone else's food at the same time. I then asked to make sure that the pork she put in the microwave was not for me.... 'yes it is' she replied. I advised that this was not pulled Pork, it's supposed to slow cooker in all the meat juices and marinades, and then she added ' yes then we pull it apart for you'.... PLEASE have people working for who know what they are doing!!

We popped in here to grab something to eat whilst shopping... and WOW! what amazing food they do. Such a good selection and all freshly made infront of you. very impressed on quality. Thank you

Parked at the Quay and on finishing shopping decided to pick a tuna sandwich on the way home. Served promptly by a lovely lady although it was a busy time and thoroughly enjoyed the large "bap".

Their cooked meats imho cannot be beaten, no ''wet'' meats here only tasty lean meats and tasty pastries ...their prepared salad bowls are great too to takeaway. I just wish they had other shops in the city as i dont get into the city centre often but i ALWAYS go to herbys when i do!! Spend a fortune lol staff are nice and pleasant too

Popped into Herby's for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the vast array of sandwiches and other snacks on offer. Everything looked very clean and the staff were very friendly.

Stopped of for a bite, this shop has no seating but their are seating areas nearby. The choice of food is amazing, a great selection of pastries, savories, sandwiches and cakes all at a reasonable price. I've only just started using this shop but will be using it a lot more now.

This place is just amazing!, love the food here, we in fact had them cater our wedding back in 2008. The food is still as good and will be used for other events too

lots to choose from always fresh and delicious with reasonable prices always go on a Saturday to take food for lunch at my dads

Just been to Herbys. You are spoilt for choice when purchasing from the counter. I love the veggie rolls, and the garlic butter to take out. The sausage and caramelised onion slice is delicious. The sliced meats are fresh and in the fridge there are lots of tempting sides like onion, tomatoes, and mint dishes, ready made Pizzas, and salad trays made up. Staff are helpful and pleased to help you decide what you want - great service , very clean place and lots of choice, .

If you decide to visit Hull and want a sandwich, cooked meat, pies and any delicasence why not try Herbys in Princes Quay shopping Centre. Near museums, art gallery, famous Punch Hotel for pub meals and a host of other attractions. I am sure you will enjoy your visit.

No hay mejor lugar para un bocadillo o similar en Hull! ! ! Gran variedad de rellenos con más recién hecho para usted. Buena calidad ingedients. Encantador, halpy, amable y eficiente personal. A un precio razonable. Porciones grandes. El único problema? ? - están cerrados los domingos. Eso es un crimen! ! !

Quick, convenient, plenty to choose from, good food and friendly down to earth staff. Would choose over a big chain sand which shop any day. Would recommend.

I have been there two days ago and they give less quantity compare to others. I have been there next day and asked them to warm the food! And she charged me 12p . Wichury does not make sense. In future alk of the shops will charge for serving the food to the customers i think

Called into herby's today for some ham got 2.50 worth and got 6 breadcakes for free,great value,plus i love the roast beef aswell and the coconut pies,got alot of different things in this shop.

I don't usually write trip advisor reviews but this sandwich was absolutely the best sandwich I have ever ate. I had the chicken bacon blt which was 2.99 I think? (Correct me if I'm wrong!) The filling was plentiful, nice chicken, plenty of bacon and the bread cake was nice and tasted fresh and held the filling well. My partner also had some southern chicken bites and he said the chicken was nice and soft. It's a hidden gem. Thank you Herbys, we visited the princess quay store- hopefully the holderness road store holds the same qualities.
