Henderson's in Leeds

Both website and Google maps advises it’s open at 07:00, yet popped along at 7:15 and was unclear it was ever going to open again.

We got a lovely lunch and the food was very very tasty. I got a turkey and cranberry panini, and a milkshake and both were gorgeous will deffo be back again.

Regularly buy both my breakfast and lunch from Hendersons, they probably supply about 35% of my weekly food intake. Quality.

Ordered and only received four fifths of the order. They were unable to then offer any refund and had to go through Just Eat. Just Eat only can give an account credit. Every expensive..

Bought a chicken panini with stuffing and cranberry sauce. The chicken was tender. The bread was soft on the inside, and has amazing crunch when toasted. I Added additional mayo and encona West Indian hot sauce. Overall it was a very tasty panini, which provides great value for the price paid . The picture only shows half the panini, as I was too hungry to take picture at the beginning 😀.

Saw Hendersons on both Google and tripadvisor. Good reviews so we walked up to get breakfast. Unfortunately when we walked in we were immediately told it would be a half hour minimum wait for any food. Tiny place, nowhere to sit so we left disappointed.

Since working down the road from Henderson's over 4 years ago when I used to get me lunch from there most days, I have recently returned to working in the city centre. I regularly drive out of the city centre to visit Henderson's 3 times a week as the service and food cannot be matched by anywhere within Leeds. The best sandwiches going.

Tiny cafe with just a couple of table and frequented by the locals, we chose the full English that was made to order. Excellent coffee and lovely host. Thoroughly recommend

Small place but worth going to. Good food and always fresh. Lots of nice goodies including for vegeterians. And great espresso! May have to wait as sometimes they get takeaway orders to do.

Like a previous reviewer, I will make an extra effort when travelling through Leeds to park outside Henderson's and buy my lunch there. I love the chorizo and chicken sandwich but whichever combination you choose, it is freshly made with quality ingredients. And substantial!!!! Well done Henderson's for providing what customers want - quality at a reasonable price.

The reviews prior to this are pretty accurate. The food has a level of attention to quality that is commendable. I had the chorizo, mozzarella, tomato and fresh spinach on a brown baguette. Choice of mayo or butter (Mayo), and chillie sauce (Encona hot), and toasted or cold (toasted). It was excellent, good quality bread, homemade pesto, and a the right amount of cheese and chorizo. Deservedly popular and excellent value.

Extremely small place but worth the visit. All the food was made freshly to order, so service can take a while, especially being so small. There's literally room for 2 or 3 to eat here. So be prepared to take out. Saying that, we had 2 breakfast muffins and they were really fresh and clean. 1 latte and cappuccino. The coffee was very good. As a big coffee fan, I couldn't recommend the coffee highly enough. 2 drinks and 2 poach egg, bacon muffins, which were pretty small was 20 pounds though, so it's pretty pricey for you you get. But price aside, very good.

Great choice of sandwich's made with quality ingredients. Whenever I'm working in Leeds I'll travel over, to spoil myself for lunch. Try the fresh fruit smoothies too!

Awesome little cafe/sandwich shop. The sandwich fillings are so good, much healthier than a normal shop and much better quality. Highly recommended!

Amazing Sandwiches and great value. They really go the extra mile with attention to detail and little extras which make a big difference. You can also call your order in if you prefer. I'm looking forward to trying more things on the menu!!

Estaba alojado en el Premier Inn e ir a una reunión en Leeds uni. No estaba interesado en probar el TGI Friday's en el hotel (críticas negativas y odio ese lugar en los Estados Unidos, ¿por qué diablos es aquí? !) así que encontré este café en Google entre el hotel y la uni. Es un poco de un agujero en la pared con sólo dos pequeñas mesas, pero el dueño fue muy amable y me hizo café fresco encantador (él claramente sabía lo que estaba haciendo y cuidada mucho sobre haciendo bien) y tuve un gran desayuno tortilla hecho exactamente lo que quería. Estaba alojado en un hotel cerca y estar en el camino hacia el centro de la ciudad/uni parece vale la pena probar. Comida fresco, pero valió la pena esperar, así que acabé con desayuno para todos los 4 días que estuve allí!

these guys really do make the best bacon sarnie I have ever had in Leeds. None of this cheap salty rubbish, or overcooked leather which has been incinerated in the oven. I suspect that they grill it, which, in my opinion, is how it should be cooked. And they are more than generous with the rashers. This is how all bacon sarnies should be! They also do great coffee. A perfect breakfast all round!
