Had breakfast this morning, wow it was absolutely lovely and really cooked well! Alison & Ollie were great hosts especially Ollie as he served us, Alison made the effort to chat to us, both staff were great

Alison is always so helpful and kind when we visit and makes our visit extra special. Food never disappoints and we visit regularly.

This place is often open all day and you can get breakfast or lunch on the buffet that I know if and it's not bad quality at all for a buffet, or carvery at lunch. The prices are very reasonable similar to that of whetherspoons and there is ample seating throughout. I needed to plugin my laptop and there was some plugs available to with decent free WiFi as well. Enjoyed my relax and the staff were great. Thank you. 👍👍😁

Trouble with the card reading machine - four attempts, then tried my wife's, second attempt to be successful. Three of our party waited at the chef's carvery section no one available eventually knocked in the kitchen door only to be told off by chef - Don't knock on the door go and tell bar no-one at the carvery counter - Rude or what!!

Food was good plenty of choice, but the floors n legs of table were dirty n dusty don't look like the floors have been clean in a long time as you walk in the floor is filthy n loads of stains glass needed a clean not very good seeing as they do food wonder wot the kitchen is like , we told staff came out with dust pan n brush missed half of it didn't bother to mop so didn't really look any different, need a cleaner there or if they do should be fired

I was served by a gentleman with a beard that was not covered, serving food without a cover is unhygienic. I don't know if i will come back.

I arrived very late , really close to food stopping time, and tried ordering through app which the guy was really helpful. Quite hard to use app and had a lot of food out of stock. So we didn't end up staying, but very friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Came for a carvery, meats were very fatty possible cheap cuts. Other than the meat it was. Pricing not bad 3 carveries and 3 drinks £45 but after the quality of the meat seemed a bit expensive.

Booked the function room here for a birthday party of 30 odd people with some children and babies. Couldn't have been a more positive experience! Staff made the whole thing so smooth and stress free - nothing was too much trouble and the food surpassed expectations. Staff made us feel relaxed and welcome and we had the whole function room to ourselves. Couldn't have been more ideal! Thank you!! 😊

The service was great by Shelley and Alison. They were very friendly and accommodating. The chefs provided separate food that my girlfriend could eat due to her allergies. The carvery and the pizza were very tasty. We will definitely visit here again!

I had a lovely dinner (fish & chips) the portion was quite generous and tasted fantastic also Alisa (the lovely person serving us) was very friendly, helpful and I made her experience at this pub even better

Dynamic duo of George & Alison make this easily the best place to bring the family. We visit weekly now. Always attentive and friendly.

Staff at bar and tables very friendly and nice,lady serving carvery miserable no hello what can i get you just took tickets and starred at you asked for some skin from turkey was told no.paid for the full works should get extra meat no more meat than normal carvery.meat was tasty but food was only warm. Lovely and clean place can’t fault that food needs a bit more attention willing to try again maybe not carvery.

We have had breakfast here on several occasions but this morning it was much improved even offering pizza!

Shelley and colleagues so helpful and welcoming, and a lovely comfortable and spacious restaurant. I’m organising a work visit in this area soon, some of whom will be travelling from afar, and the Henbury Arms will be perfect for meeting up and starting the day with a brunch! The breakfast looked great, excellent value and a wide menu for all tastes. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Pleasant staff but food too cold and poor choice of low alcohol beers.

Better than Toby. They ran out or beer though! Only kids drinks like big brand largers and Bulmers. Old, cold vegetables.

We came from Canada to visit family who live in Henbury. We weren’t sure how it all worked but there was a lady there named Shelley who was very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The food was awesome. We’ll be back again on our next visit.

Visiting Henbury Arms,for the ist time , was a pleasure, nice welcome , warm and inviting place, I am in my 80,s and have eaten in many places , The carvery looked inviting , plates warm very caring staff , I ate all , I went to a posh do down the centre, family celebration, cost 3times as much and I didn't enjoy , I will certainly come again , just like home cooked ,

Spent several lovely mornings here, Shelley really looks after my friend, and I. She was friendly and really helpful, a credit to her team! Nothing is too much trouble... Would highly recommend going here, you feel well looked after.

We were served by shelley, what a lovely lady very lovely to speak to and made us fill warm and comfortable 10/10 well done keep it up.

When we went to the bar we was welcomed by Shelley she was polite. When seated she seen we were freezing and point out there was a seat by a radiator so we sat in that seat. The food was incredible and would love to come back.

The best improvement in the pub in years George has done a wonderful job.

George is a hard working manager and pub has improved since he has taken over managing it. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

I really enjoyed my food, good service

The henbury arm is a local pub for me it is absolutely fantastic with the friendliest staff ( especially the manger George who always has a laugh with the customers with the best customer service he is always very approachable and always willing to help out in any way he can. )The staff always greet you when you walk in they take the time to ask about any food allergy’s or concerns we may have, and keep every thing clean and tidy. The food is always 10 out of 10 and good value for money as well as drinks. The service is excellent. It is very ideal for small to medium sized family groups like mine. Definitely will keep coming back.

Spent the whole afternoon at the at the Henbury arms with my family was greeted by a gentleman called George who I later found out he was the manager. He was so charming and very friendly/helpful nothing was to much trouble for him he served us are drinks he brought are food over and checked everything was to are satisfaction. Definitely recommend coming here five star service.

Fab Sunday Carvery Roast Beef and Turkey with roast potatoes, and various vegetables the meat was lovely tasting, the service was good pounds better then Redwood Farm up the road, we will return again

Absolutely fabulous food Shelley was our server she was friendly polite and checked for all allergies.Nothing was to much for her.Shelley checked all our food was ok and we were happy a very friendly girl, Will definitely be back very nice pub with a great atmosphere and a very warm welcome with very friendly staff.

The food was absolutely terrible. I order a beef burger and the patties were quite clearly taken out of costco multipack or similar and then just defrosted and cooked. Tasted awful. Group of 7 of us all disliked the food a lot. Would not recommend for food.

Have been going in for food fairly regularly for some time now, and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and service we find at the henbury arms. In particular, a slightly newer employee( I believe he said he was called Jack) was very kind to us! Looking forward to coming back soon :)

Just had the best pizza EVER, really busy with Christmas bookings, yet still had an amazing pizza, the best I've yet there Not sure on the guy who cooked, despite no tables, still delivered an amazing pizza Ate the lot 🫣

We were in a party of thirty for a Brunch. Self service worked really well as staff on hand to help with all aspects, Food available was great value.

Staff look like they where on the piss last night and very rude Had some young girl behide the till gave me the wrong change and try work my change in her head when the till dose it for you . Very unprofessional and the other staff that spouse to work here are hanging around the bar like there customers

Family of 22 we're given the brunel room to ourselves which waa lovely . Didn't see much of the staff as obviously ordered at the bar .bar staff and staff around we're pleasant .most of us had carvery which was super quick getting served and very tasty. We all managed to eat together apart from 2 meals off main menu did take a while .everyone was happy. Did wait along time for child's pudding 1 hour .lovely place would recommend. The communication when booking was spot on and met the lady on the day she was pleasant. Will be back

Brilliant establishment, called in whilst driving to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Jack and Dan were extremely attentive and helpful.

Probably the most unpleasant cheeseburger in the world.

Met my friend for breakfast. We arrived at 9.30am and we're greeted by a friendly member of staff who was stocking up the bar. We were the first people in but 2 other people arrived shortly afterwards. The breakfast is buffet style and we could choose from fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash brown, beans, sausages and hash browns. Everything I chose to eat was nice. Unfortunately 2 men later came in and one of them started shouting about something to do with a lack of some food but the chef was just bringing out fresh. The person in charge had to go over and speak to him and he continued to shout at her. She asked him to leave and barred him and this was at 10am! But she dealt with him swiftly and professionally and we were able to carry on. I would go there again, I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because of the abusive man.

We all enjoyed a nice atmosphere at The Henbury Arms, and were delighted with the friendliness of the staff, who take the time to ask about any food allergy's or concerns you may have, and keep every thing clean and tidy. The Food was 10 out of 10 and good value for money. Service was excellent, helpful knowledgeable staff. An ideal venue for small to medium sized family groups to get together. I think this is probably one of the best establishment's I've used this side of Bristol. Great location, with plenty of free offstreet parking, large beer garden. It's definitely getting harder to find real pub's like this today, and was good to have such a positive experience there. Thank you, keep up the good work. I'll be back with the family soon.

We use the Henbury Arms for after our hockey team training & games so are in most weeks. Staff really accommodating and ideal food for after a game!

It's a nice enough pub we only had drinks but the service was efficient and friendly.

Roast was expensive for what you get

I was there for lunch, everything was fine, the food and service was great, the staff were attentive, I'll be back soon.

Attended for breakfast food quality was ok, overall atmosphere was ok one downside was some of the chairs were caked in dirty and dead skin on the arm rest.

Pub can be cold at times nice carvery

Had a lovely carvery at Henbury Stonehouse. Only complaint was that the ham was a bit too salty but everything cooked really and tasty apart from that (may be personal taste?) Alison the manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Will be back.

Lovely staff and even better food, I have been eating here for years and will continue to for the foreseeable future.

Visited on Sunday, atmosphere was great and my server Jack was very polite and funny!
