Roast was expensive for what you get

I was there for lunch, everything was fine, the food and service was great, the staff were attentive, I'll be back soon.

Attended for breakfast food quality was ok, overall atmosphere was ok one downside was some of the chairs were caked in dirty and dead skin on the arm rest.

Pub can be cold at times nice carvery

Had a lovely carvery at Henbury Stonehouse. Only complaint was that the ham was a bit too salty but everything cooked really and tasty apart from that (may be personal taste?) Alison the manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Will be back.

All the staff are lovley at the Henbury arms especially Jack with his friendly manner. He came round pretty quick after our food arrived and ensured that all our needs were met. The food was lovley and great value for money with lots of choice.

I went here a couple days ago with some friends and it was nice the food is really good I got the margarita pizza and I recommend it the drinks were a bit expensive I got a coke and it's quite expensive but it was nice would recommend. And it's nice that the staff ask if you have any allergies before you order.

Really nice, but no windows opened. The pub was horrifically warm, and there was no air flow. Sadly the fire alarm went off when we were there (due to our large order) and nobody was able to help the smoke clear. Despite this, staff and food were excellent - I would absolutely come back, but wouldn't come back in spring, autumn or summer.

Food was lovely, staff were nice and friendly. All round great experience for a meal out.

Beautiful food with lovely staff I highly recommend

My experience here was beautiful, from the food to the service. As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was so relaxing and outstanding! The bar staff poured the perfect drinks and gave such great service. The food was lovely too! I have recommended this place to friends and family as it's a pub you should definitely visit.

On entry I felt duped into buying a large plate, for what I could see was no extra gain. The potatoes were ok given they’d been under a hot lamp for ages. The gravy was extremely watery and thin which actually spoiled a good meal. The meat wasn’t plentiful like the up-seller barman had suggested and I wasn’t offered a pig in blanket. The cauliflower cheese was very good. The pub lacks atmosphere. It was clean and tidy and the parking was ample. I won’t return.

Allison the manager managed to get a birthday breakfast of 6 when we left it a little late, but she pulled out all the stops to ensure we all had a delightful time. Many thanks to her.

Came in for breakfast, it wasn't that busy, so got served quickly. When we got to order food, the eggs were rubbery, and hard to cut and the bacon was really hard, overcooked, but the rest was fine

I go here about three or more times a week should have shares in it like it there and the staff aint half bad either

Food was great, menu as lots of choices. Kids meals are great value, deals are very Good different deal everyday and a set menu. Drinks selection was also great and drinks were good quality. Outdoor seating is nice for summer. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Came for lunch with my large family, 7 of us in total. Paige and shelley were really accommodating and seated us on a table together. We all had carvery which was really tasty . We all had ice cream Sundays for dessert which were so generous in size and absolutely delicious

Staff are really friendly and the food is very budget friendly and delicious.

Came for a few drinks and couldn’t be served by a nicer guy, I got told to mention him Connor absolute star!

Without a doubt, the worst roast I’ve ever had. I left my plate. No seasoning, hard peas, slushy “cheesy leek” with no taste. Staff didn’t seem to know what was going on. Kids shouting “gay” outside at anyone passing. Positive was lots of space

Visited just for a few drinks and was a lovely atmosphere, staff seem happy and are polite and work hard.

Staff were very friendly and helpful in accommodating our group at the last minute as the weather had changed our plans . Food was lovely and we had a great time in a nice relaxed atmosphere . Thank you ! We will definitely return again soon

Had a carvery, found a hair in the cheese and leaks when helping myself, they did change change it for me. The lady serving the carvery was very miserable, didn't even say hello or thanks, very rude. The carrots were cold and the rest of the meal went cold very quickly. The meal was like eating a plate of mush, not nice at all, we did get a refund, though. They advertise on line, as much whippy ice cream as you can eat, but we were told the ice cream machine has never worked, so it's just normal ice cream. I am very disappointed with the whole experience, and I will never go there again

Do not scan the QR code at a table to pay for food. This method automatically adds a tip, WITHOUT ANY FOREWARNING OR REQUEST. This is no fault of any of the staff.Fair play to the bar staff for offering me the tip money back. For that reason I hope my tip goes to the staff. Sly and underhand website. Stonehouse need to correct this or make it transparent.

Greeted by sticky tables, food menus stuck together and holes in the furniture. Food was well below average, desert for the kids came to the table 10 minutes before their main. Waitress was very helpful, without her efforts would have scored 1 ⭐️

Stopped off here randomly on a trip to a reunion. The food was very good and service excellent. Went again the following day for breakfast. Again very good food, at very reasonable prices. Can't fault the staff for their brilliant attitude and service. Never heard of the Stonehouse chain before (perhaps it's southern based?) but I'll be keeping an eye out for them in future visits.

We had a mix up with the booking of the room, but they quickly accommodated us to make up for it, we were in for a birthday breakfast and everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was brilliant and everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet...

Went for a birthday breakfast. Breakfast was good particularly at the price point. The staff were welcoming and lovely. We will be back for more family breakfasts

Went on basis of reviews. However nowhere near as good as expected. The decor is very tired and the upholstery on our chairs was heavily foodstained and worn right through on the arms. We would probably have had desserts on the 'meal deal' but were only told after we paid fir drinks and mains that we needed to have ordered at the same time and nothing could be done. The food was pretty good though the Gammon with eggs came from the carvery and was the best I'd had for a while. The Thatchers cider pump was very frothy and took a long time to draw through multiple glasses. I dontbthink it tasted qItecright either. Overall I'm afraid we wouldn't go again because the place is so run down and tatty. A shame really as the food was well cooked and presented.

The Henbury Arms really looked after us when we arrived after scattering my mum’s ashes. They let us have use of a side room as we had 10 children with us, some of which have additional needs. They made us very welcome and the service was great. Would recommend.

We had such a lovely afternoon at The Henbury Arms. We had a large group of people and they kindly gave us a suite to use so that we had privacy and space for our children to play without disturbing other customers. The service was great from start to finish! The food was delicious too! Thank you!!!

George runs a great pub. Chef was so happy and funny and the carvery was banging.

We had the Carvery, and it was probably the best we have had so far in bristol. The food was clearly recognisable and still possessed its colour! The lady serving was obviously living her best life, and when she eventually smiled, it made my day! The only thing I was a bit surprised at was the lack of dairy free sweets available.

We use the Henbury Arms for after our hockey team training & games so are in most weeks. Staff really accommodating and ideal food for after a game!

Great lunch and catch up with dear friend, who's been coming here since it was The Salutation Inn! Really delicious, crispy and light pizzas, served by very friendly staff. Special thanks to Alison and her colleague, who made us feel so welcome and really went out of their way to look after us. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere and plenty of free parking. Breakfast is nice, we go often. Only annoying thing is breakfast is often cleared away abit too early.

Warm welcome & tasty good value meals. Staff knowledge & understanding of allergens was refreshing, they made no drama out of this and went over and above to ensure safe practice. Will look forward to returning in the future.

We went to the henbury arms on the 31/03/2024 and I was disappointed with the food. There were no buns for the burgers so they were served with slices of bread. I was brought a meat-free vegan burger at first instead of my bacon cheese burger meal. The chef at the carvery was rude and not welcoming, overall a very poor experience

I came here today with my family and we had lovely service by Alison our waiter she was extremely friendly and even gave the kids some Easter treats will definitely be coming here again!

Had the Camembert and root vegetable bake with a side salad. Did not take long despite being made to order. Was absolutely delicious 😋 Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Good menu choice. Pleasant service. Mains took a while to come out but came out hot and freshly main. Good food deals. No dogs allowed in pub but are in the garden. There is a funny smell, like drain smell esp if you sit near the toilets.

Pretty quiet on a Tuesday after school. Ordered pizza, (50% off on a tuesday) fabulous, proper hand stretched, kids loved it. Roast potatoes were delicious with chicken fillet sandwich. Due to delay with food the manager (Alison) apologised and offered free dessert which the kids snapped up in the form of sundaes, again fabulous. I'm pretty sure we'll be back. Thank you 😊

Nice and easy to place order at the bar, the food was lush (get some beef I say!), staff were bubbly and really helpful and the carvery guy even gave me an extra Yorkshire… would totally eat there again

Wife and myself went there on Thursday gone for a meal, the food was very nice, plenty of it and well cooked price for the two of us was excellent and the whole thing was good, more than happy and will certainly be going back again.

Had to wait ages for them to replace the food wen gone
