Visited again as regular herr and as usual did not disappoint, friendly staff, good quality food at reasonable prices.

Visited just for a few drinks and was a lovely atmosphere, staff seem happy and are polite and work hard.

Staff were very friendly and helpful in accommodating our group at the last minute as the weather had changed our plans . Food was lovely and we had a great time in a nice relaxed atmosphere . Thank you ! We will definitely return again soon

Had a carvery, found a hair in the cheese and leaks when helping myself, they did change change it for me. The lady serving the carvery was very miserable, didn't even say hello or thanks, very rude. The carrots were cold and the rest of the meal went cold very quickly. The meal was like eating a plate of mush, not nice at all, we did get a refund, though. They advertise on line, as much whippy ice cream as you can eat, but we were told the ice cream machine has never worked, so it's just normal ice cream. I am very disappointed with the whole experience, and I will never go there again

Spend Tuesday in the garden, got a pizza and a pint for under 10 pound

Do not scan the QR code at a table to pay for food. This method automatically adds a tip, WITHOUT ANY FOREWARNING OR REQUEST. This is no fault of any of the staff.Fair play to the bar staff for offering me the tip money back. For that reason I hope my tip goes to the staff. Sly and underhand website. Stonehouse need to correct this or make it transparent.

Greeted by sticky tables, food menus stuck together and holes in the furniture. Food was well below average, desert for the kids came to the table 10 minutes before their main. Waitress was very helpful, without her efforts would have scored 1 ⭐️

Stopped off here randomly on a trip to a reunion. The food was very good and service excellent. Went again the following day for breakfast. Again very good food, at very reasonable prices. Can't fault the staff for their brilliant attitude and service. Never heard of the Stonehouse chain before (perhaps it's southern based?) but I'll be keeping an eye out for them in future visits.

Went for a birthday breakfast. Breakfast was good particularly at the price point. The staff were welcoming and lovely. We will be back for more family breakfasts

We had a mix up with the booking of the room, but they quickly accommodated us to make up for it, we were in for a birthday breakfast and everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was brilliant and everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet...

Went on basis of reviews. However nowhere near as good as expected. The decor is very tired and the upholstery on our chairs was heavily foodstained and worn right through on the arms. We would probably have had desserts on the 'meal deal' but were only told after we paid fir drinks and mains that we needed to have ordered at the same time and nothing could be done. The food was pretty good though the Gammon with eggs came from the carvery and was the best I'd had for a while. The Thatchers cider pump was very frothy and took a long time to draw through multiple glasses. I dontbthink it tasted qItecright either. Overall I'm afraid we wouldn't go again because the place is so run down and tatty. A shame really as the food was well cooked and presented.

The Henbury Arms really looked after us when we arrived after scattering my mum’s ashes. They let us have use of a side room as we had 10 children with us, some of which have additional needs. They made us very welcome and the service was great. Would recommend.

We had such a lovely afternoon at The Henbury Arms. We had a large group of people and they kindly gave us a suite to use so that we had privacy and space for our children to play without disturbing other customers. The service was great from start to finish! The food was delicious too! Thank you!!!

We use the Henbury Arms for after our hockey team training & games so are in most weeks. Staff really accommodating and ideal food for after a game!

We had the Carvery, and it was probably the best we have had so far in bristol. The food was clearly recognisable and still possessed its colour! The lady serving was obviously living her best life, and when she eventually smiled, it made my day! The only thing I was a bit surprised at was the lack of dairy free sweets available.

George runs a great pub. Chef was so happy and funny and the carvery was banging.

Great lunch and catch up with dear friend, who's been coming here since it was The Salutation Inn! Really delicious, crispy and light pizzas, served by very friendly staff. Special thanks to Alison and her colleague, who made us feel so welcome and really went out of their way to look after us. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere and plenty of free parking. Breakfast is nice, we go often. Only annoying thing is breakfast is often cleared away abit too early.

Warm welcome & tasty good value meals. Staff knowledge & understanding of allergens was refreshing, they made no drama out of this and went over and above to ensure safe practice. Will look forward to returning in the future.

We went to the henbury arms on the 31/03/2024 and I was disappointed with the food. There were no buns for the burgers so they were served with slices of bread. I was brought a meat-free vegan burger at first instead of my bacon cheese burger meal. The chef at the carvery was rude and not welcoming, overall a very poor experience

I came here today with my family and we had lovely service by Alison our waiter she was extremely friendly and even gave the kids some Easter treats will definitely be coming here again!

Had the Camembert and root vegetable bake with a side salad. Did not take long despite being made to order. Was absolutely delicious 😋 Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Good menu choice. Pleasant service. Mains took a while to come out but came out hot and freshly main. Good food deals. No dogs allowed in pub but are in the garden. There is a funny smell, like drain smell esp if you sit near the toilets.

Pretty quiet on a Tuesday after school. Ordered pizza, (50% off on a tuesday) fabulous, proper hand stretched, kids loved it. Roast potatoes were delicious with chicken fillet sandwich. Due to delay with food the manager (Alison) apologised and offered free dessert which the kids snapped up in the form of sundaes, again fabulous. I'm pretty sure we'll be back. Thank you 😊

Nice and easy to place order at the bar, the food was lush (get some beef I say!), staff were bubbly and really helpful and the carvery guy even gave me an extra Yorkshire… would totally eat there again

Wife and myself went there on Thursday gone for a meal, the food was very nice, plenty of it and well cooked price for the two of us was excellent and the whole thing was good, more than happy and will certainly be going back again.

Was a Toby, but recently taken over. There is a nicer ambience there now. Run of the mill average food but good value for money.

Had many carvery's here but today was very disappointing. Hard roast potatoes, hard carrots and most of it was barely hot. Hoping it was only an off day.

Tables sticky and had not been wiped down. Very little choice for someone who has to eat gluten free without cross contamination. Eventually ordered deconstructed burger without bun but would have been good to have gluten free bun option. Staff helpful in doing the Allergen assessment. Soft drinks very expensive. No tatare sauce available for scampi dish.

Amazing breakfast worth the money

Carrots were hard, cauliflower had very little cheese and was very hard, nearly broke a tooth!!! lady serving the carvery couldn't have cut the meat any thinner and looked like she didn't wanna be there. Food wasn't hot. I personally wouldn't get the carvery again and probably won't come back again due to the miserable lady serving carvery, that's the second time I've been here and she failed to crack a smile

Admittedly we arrived 20 minutes before the carvery closed but it wasn’t great. The beef was the only meat that still looked edible. The vegetables were dried up to the point of being disgusting and the gravy had a thick dried up skin on it - yuk. The lady who served me didn’t crack a smile and obviously had one motivation and that was to clear everything up and get off home. The main menu was very ‘street food’ oriented and my wife found everything a bit highly spiced for her taste. On the plus side the young chap behind the bar was great - very friendly and accommodating. Thanks to him I’ve given the Henbury a two star review rather than one. It’s clearly a ‘budget priced’ family oriented pub, nothing wrong with that, but don’t do a carvery if you can’t maintain standards throughout the serving period.

Pretty cosy place. Went in for a sweet treat and their apple pie is really nice. Staff are really friendly.

We always attend Stonehouse for our family birthday meals or just a treat.. we love the staff they go above and beyond always service with a smile and great conversation 😀 we attend with special needs children and they always make us feel welcome.. it's our only favourite place to have a lovely family meal thank you Stonehouse and staff x

I mean the food is fine and the breakfast is lovely. But jesus you HAVE to sort the opening times out. They change every week seemingly. How can anyone rely on coming and you being open or serving breakfast.

Genuinely not a bad roast mixed reviews. But I would highly recommend for the price factor, plenty of seating even on a Sunday.

Breakfast ordered No mugs!! No bacon No eggs No black pudding Finally some bacon& eggs came out Asked about black pudding said got none! Not they ran out just a no!!! This was at 10.30 overheard staff telling people who were at bar ordering a breakfast there were no more eggs Still an hour to go what a shambles Plus not a bit of salt& pepper Two plastic pots came out of kitchen in end when asked Wouldn’t return unless you pull your socks up!!! 2 out 5 that was being generous too!!!

Popped in for a cheeky drink and bite to eat. I’m always a bit cautious/nervous with eating out due to being allergic to onion/onion powder, however Connor N was absolutely amazing. He literally went above and beyond to find something safe and onion free for me to eat and to ensure there was no cross contamination. Customer service at its best ⭐️please note this is a late review - visit was in August

Popped in on Saturday with my fiancée, we ordered a pizza… we thought we’ll go one half spicy and one half normal, expecting an extra charge and all that. No extra charge, the staff were lovely and friendly and the pizza was just amazing… cheers dudes and I’ll see yall soon for more pizza 🍕 Great atmosphere as well

Came here for food back in November. Pizza was really good. Staff were lovely and helpful.

The food wasn't too great and there was a lack of pub classics, such as lasagna. They have a pizza oven so I would consider that if I had to visit again. The carvery was left open to the air for too long and didn't look very good. I asked for a plate to feed my baby and they tried to charge me 99p for it, despite having a sign that says I am welcome to feed my baby using the food on my own plate. The plate I was eventually given was dirty. I'd probably come here in summer for a drink, but I wouldn't eat here again. The inside of the place feels a bit tired and grimey and there was a musty smell, although we were sat next to the open fire that wasn't lit at the time, so it could have been that.

Staff were very friendly. My veggie option for carvery was ready in the 10 minutes they told me it would be, which was good. Parsnips and potatoes very crispy and good. Good to get a Yorkshire pudding even with veggie option. Good that all the gravy was veggie. Could've been more cheese in the cauliflower cheese. Sprouts and carrots tasted from frozen and not fresh - a bit chewy. Our table for 3 was squished into the corner and not enough room for us to sit around it. Table behind us was too close and not enough room for us and the party behind us. One of us ended up having to sit at an odd angle on one corner of the table. It was table 9.

Not a bad pub, little beer garden to sit in the sun which is nice. Food is OK, not great, but better than a lot of other pubs

Impressive Carvery! Food Quality great with a special mention to Rob's roast potatoes. Great value for money and staff were superfriendly and chatty. Very kid-friendly too. This was my first time at the Henbury Arms and I can't wait to go back!

We go here when we visit my uncle - he loves a roast dinner and this is about the only time he gets one.

Reserving a table for lunch and being given one right next to the gents - which ABSOLUTELY STANK by the way - was a disappointing start. Carvery was decent, quantity and quality, but had to wait for about 10 mins for someone to emerge to serve. Not sure how long the veg is allowed to sit there before being freshened up though. Cheap and cheerful, 20% discount with M&B shareholder discount. 5 ate well, with soft drinks for 58 quid. Can't really complain at that price.
