Horrid customer service, girl at the till was rude and aggressive, food tasted like donkey

Excellent food and service. A bit of a wait but well worth it.

Food was delicious 😋 and a wonderful friendly service.

Beef and mushroom curry. Didn’t look or taste like beef. Didn’t even look like meat. Sauce was thick and gloopy. Phone service was brilliant. Delivery was quick and pleasant. To say the least food went in the bin and won’t use again

Chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken my go to dish here it taste so good

Terrible food was tasteless never again .

The woman was mentle. Shouting and screaming at her fella as he tried to cook. Not a pleasant experience

First time ordering here snd pleasantly surprised! I appreciate it’s a Saturday so delivery was a while but worth the wait. Chicken sweetcorn soup went down amazingly as I’m poorly! Will order again. Thank you

Rushed in out of breath needing a drink and dinner to take home after a workout session, was served promptly, lady was friendly and my BF said they've got the best prawn toast in Newark so far.

Very quick service .ordered for collection as was staying at the showground. Around 12 minutes away. Called when left and was ready when I got there. Big portions, bean curd with veg in black bean sauce was good. well seasoned. Still really hot by the time I got back with it. Vegetable spring rolls were really nice too. Slightly different to the usual ones most chinese sell. Would recommend and use again.

Used to be favourite Chinese in newark, used weekly as was lovely and fresh. But ordered tonight 16/04/22 £32 worth of food, as a one off for my nan who was looking forward to the treat, spare ribs nothing but fat, chow mein greasy, stir fried mushrooms had a funny smell, rice stodgy, chicken balls gristly, can see why they’ve had a 1 star food rating put on, definitely not be using again

Have been a customer for many years and have never had a bad experience. Great food and good price.

Food is really nice best in the town to be honest but really annoys me that they can't get the days there open right! If you shut on a Monday then bloody state that it's not hard

Food was good but it was 45 minutes late for collection. Two delivery drivers were in and out of the waiting area, neither wearing a mask.

Best chinese takeaway I've had in Newark. The crispy chilli beef was actually crispy, rarely the case despite the name. Our new 'go to'

Always missing at least one item from delivery and it's impossible to get through to deal with it & make sure you no how much order as there's always a price difference

Good Chinese food and reasonably priced, always a good idea to book your meal by telephone as it can be quite busy. The only thing I would like is for proper chips, rather than the oven chips! This place should be advertised more.

Disappointing!! Having ordered from this takeaway menu we have never been disappointed in service or food. However we won't be ordering in future as we weren't advised our food would be one hour late!! When we took This up with delivery they said they would give us a refund which wasn't forthcoming!! As we feel we were excellent customers this is disappointing! As further promises of a refund weren't forthcoming we will no longer use or recommend this takeaway again. Very disappointed

Food quality not as good as it use to be, too much salt in many dishes no meat on ribs special rice losing some ingredients etc

Ive been choosing hello shanghai since they first opened, im a regular customer and they always greet me kindly i love the service and i love the way i ask how my food to be with or without certain things (fussy eater lol) and i always receive what i get.delivery time is normally on time or just before the time they say. 10 out of 10 strongly recommend
