Absolutely lovely, dog friendly cafe in the heart of Grasmere. Made to feel very welcome and love all the little touches for the pooches including doggy menu and towels to dry them off. Good choice of Breakfast/Brunch and Light Lunch options, we ordered some sandwiches, bowl of chips and some drinks, and they were all bang on, and good value. Definitely recommend a visit if you're with (or without) a four legged friend in Grasmere!

A warm welcome greeted us as soon as we walked into Heidi's cafe, the staff are very friendly and Craig took time to spoil our pug Floki with dog biscuits. The full English breakfast was delicious, as was the loose leaf tea and filter coffee. Will definitely visit again and again when we're in Grasmere. Highly recommend.

Me and my husband found this café last week (10/10/2024). We decided to stay there for a hot chocolate and we didn't regret it :) It is a lovely café! We loved how it was decorated. The staff was also very welcoming and friendly; we'll definitely return!

WOW! We bought 2 take away sandwiches for our walk yesterday as well as having s Hot delisious breakfast at Heidi's in grassmere. Breakfast second to none. But the takeaway sandwiches were unbelievable, freshly packed with delisious filling, best we gave ever had. I hope photo comes up? We will 100% be back. Thank you Heidi's staff.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch in Heidi's today, very friendly staff, the food was exceptional and had obviously been prepared with care and attention to detail. We will definitely be visiting again.

Great staff, nothing was too much trouble with a great sense of humour, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. This cafe is pet friendly, I especially like the doggy wall of fame with the doggy of the day photo. Also dog towels if needed. Will definitely be coming here again when in the area.

Quite honestly the most welcoming cafe with the friendliest staff I have ever visited. The breakfast sandwich was up there with one of the best I've ever had. If you're in Grasmere you need to visit this gorgeous little gem

Visited this lovely establishment today with my wife and two children. I had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich which was unreal! My two kids had just a cheese sandwich and Ham sandwich which they enjoyed. Because my wife said can we have no salad on their sandwiches, the guy (presumably the owner) came up to us and said because of the price we paid he would bring out some chips for the kids because of the missing salad which was really kind. When we left we thanked him for the gesture. He then said wait there…..after about 30 seconds went off and appeared with two bags of haribo for the kids. Really great bloke and lovely cafe. Highly recommend!

Lovely sandwiches and coffee. Very dog friendly. They even do Puppachino's and gave the dogs some treats. Highly recommended.

Stopped here for a brunch along the coast to coast trek. Breakfast was very good and charging points were available! Coffee was good and a great resting spot in the center of the town. Friendly service and had many options for snacks and anything you might need

We had a very spacious and well equipped room with a large balcony. The bathroom was huge and provided a bath and an additional shower. Centrally located.

A proper mug of tea!! Good food and friendly staff, lovely village as well.

The middle priced of the 17 accommodations I booked for the C2C. Situated right in the middle of lovely Grasmere. No reception or host, just a PIN check in. Our loft room was large and beautifully decorated. The double bed was big with lovely new clean bed linen and a very comfy mattress – we had a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was big with a tremendous walk-in waterfall shower. The full-fried – served in the attached café – was very good. A good price for a excellent accommodation.

A lovely cafe in Grasmere which is extremely dog friendly to the point were they had towels for wet dogs and fresh water bowls. Treats also given to the dogs too!! Food was also delicious, we enjoyed the soup of the day, breakfast baps and yorkshire pudding wrap!! We would definitely recommend and visit in the future 👍

Where shall I start, this place is a little Gem, we had eaten breakfast here before and where told whilst eating that there where lovely rooms above the cafe that the owner let out and we should come back and try one, we'll we did and it didn't dissappoint, it's self check in so a code is sent to you for the main front door once inside there is a draw with your room number on and inside there is the keys your your room, the rooms where beautiful, the view was out in to the beautiful village of Grasmere, the bathroom had a bath and shower and was lovely and clean infact everything looked brand new, there was everything in the room you needed, lovely big bed with beautiful linen, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, plugs by the bed must have, room was lovely and warm for when we arrived, and although self check in, as we arrived arround 3 o'clock the cafe was still open so we had a lovely warm welcome, breakfast is included in the room price and served in the beautiful cafe under the rooms, you fill a form out and make sure it is down stairs before 7am with your chosen time, my husband had the full breakfast which was both quality and quantity, as i have many food allergies i just requested a couple of slices of gluten free toast with butter and Jam and this was not a problem, coffee was refillable and extra toast was offered, all in all everything was amazing and we would highly recommend

What a superb little place. Stayed in room 6 with roof terrace with mountain views. Stunning. Excellent breakfast and lunch. And hats off to Craig and his team. What a great host and funny guy. Definitely will be returning. 5 stars
