called i here recently i was asked if i wanted a scollop which wasnt part of my order but as it was near closing time i thought was for free but they charged me for it i thought it was very cheeky i will not be calling again

Ordered with them through just eat, wrong order came, phoned and they said my order was there and would be 10 mins, 30 mins later they said 5 mins. 1 hour later they said shop closed and hung up. They are liars and thieves. Do not use them

Working in heat is not easy. The person who did my food was cool.(Man with white hair) My chips were melt in your mouth. Thank You. Building could do with another paint over.Looks better in picture.

Since this fish and chips reopened its been amazing. Freshly cooked and always friendly. The family run environment is amazing to see. The food is always gorgeous the size of the meals are very generous. Any of the meal deals would go down well with a beer and football at home 5 star ratings for this place will become a common thing, so if you want to to try some amazing fish and chips get yourself down here. You won't regret it

Food is ok but you want to clarify portion sizes when ordering. Didn't ask when I was there and assumed I wanted large (I actually wanted small). Apart from that it was decent enough, though.

Rang order in on New Years eve (1830/1835ish 2021-this is0) been going regularly drop-in type of customer. Food always been excellent and tonight - yes - New YR's Eve was no different, Owner is very friendly and listens to your order, Doesn't ask 3 or 4 times "what you order?" while order is being prepared. BEST Chip shop in Sheffield - probably.

Always love their fish and chips, especially open and walking down to the Sheaf View. Chips in a cone is useful to drink ballast before a night out.

In all honesty, would give 0 stars if I could. Racism from the staff member who answered the phone this evening. I requested fish and chips he TOLD me I wanted curry because of my accent and they don't do curry and then proceeded to take the mick. When I clarified I wanted to put an order through for fish and chips he said he wouldn't serve me. Wouldn't feed this food to my neighbours cat. Shame on you. Shame on your so called business. Shame on your cows. Maybe if your battered fish wasn't fried to absolute death, you'd be a little bit less miserable and also less racist to your customers. God only knows what's in the batter and fumes from the oil because its clearly made you lose a few brain cells (not that it seemed like you had many to start with)

They do the best fish in town chips are a bit under cooked but the fish is great

Rating for the exceptional service. Just Eat driver did not arrive and the guy from the fish bar cooked my order and delivered it personally even though the fish bar was closing. Thank you so much and food was excellent.

Had a large fish . Never had such rubbery chewy batter, it was not good at all. Looked nice staff were friendly. But fish appeared to have been cooked a long time ago

Order wrong and charged 2.50 for a small chips discusted wouldn't mind but delivery man got lost so cold and chips not enough for 2.50 3 weeks still no reply to the review

Very poor service. We have been twice and both times we did not get what we asked for Had to wait a long time to be served as 3 members of staff concentrating on delivery orders No organisation.

Good value, good portion sizes, staff were friendly and efficient, deffo use them again.

Very nice people but not organised at all. Might have given it another go if my daughter in law had not just queued for 20 mins for them to let someone push in and walk straight in shop. Disgraceful!! All the shops at heeley Green are scared to stand up to the people that come in.

Ordered a delivery from here, took a chance as we’ve never ate out of here before. We were happy we ordered. Cod, chips and curry sauce was really good!! We will definitely order from here again. Also the delivery was within a good time too.

Perhaps it was a bad day. They had reopened only 3 days ago. But that was the worst fish and chips I have had in a long while. I live 5 minutes away, but it was all luke warm, only wrapped in paper, wasn't offered a box. The chips were cold, pale and limp, very thin and disgusting. As for the fish. I asked for a large fish and got a very medium sized. It was cold, the batter was soft and flabby and the fish had been a long time away from the sea. It was grey, hard, tasteless and even my cat wouldn't eat it. The peas and curry sauce were only just edible. I still feel bloated and sick and am not rich enough to waste money on that. I went because I had seen good reviews. Never again.

Closes way too early (8.30) and each time I've been in, they've run out of chips. Go to Ocean on Chesterfield Road - nicer, and cheaper too.

Certainly rates as one of the poorer chippies I've been to. They should change their oil more often. Is slightly more expensive than other better places.
