HEBBLE END COFFEE LOUNGE in Calderdale

I love the place! It's just adorable, staff are friendly, and there's a good selection of yummy food, lots of cakes, scrumptious milkshakes and it's licenced.

Visited Hebble End cafe yesterday whilst in Hebden Bridge, lovely little cafe on side of canal and nice food, i got the cheese and tomato toastie was delicious.Would recommend it to others who visit. Fab service too.

Stumbled across this place looking to come of the canal from todmorden, was in dire need of a coffee after camping and it taking a blumming hour to boil some water on my very pathetic stove lol. Once it was established dogs could go in and outside all was good communication was a bit muddled. Coffee was hot which was good considering lots seem to do Lukewarm lattes lately. Scone cream and jam lovely and warm scone but no butter, I could have gone and asked though. Nice place to sit and chatty folks also enjoying being there

We visited Hebble End cafe yesterday on a gloriously sunny afternoon as part of a canal walk in Hebden Bridge. What a delightful owner! Very personable and interesting. She made me and my partner feel very welcome at the cafe, so it’s very LGBTQ friendly despite what other reviewers may insinuate. The coffee here is lovely and the cafe has fantastic views of the canal. You can sit outside in the sunshine, watching the world go by, or sit inside and marvel at the quirky decor. Importantly, this is a small business so table space is limited if you want to sit outside. I think it’s common courtesy to drink up and let others sit at the table once you’ve finished. Being a small business they need all the tables they can, especially on weekends where trade is important to make up for the quieter weekdays.

Only walked past looked very nice though.

No healthy options food wise, the coffee was OK, the setting was great but the staff were awful, just before I ordered another drink I was told to vacate because we need the table- it was a blatant lie because there we 2 free outside tables and at least 4 indoor tables, no please or thank you. Try the Cafe Solo instead (where I went for my lunch).

A great little quirky cafe right on the canalside. Neon lights, whacky artwork and silly decorations enhance the experience. I would definitely recommend.

Really lovely spot overlooking the canal. Xena and the other lady inside were both very friendly and welcoming. We came in quite late but Xena didn't rush us and even offered for us to stay outside and bring us blankets after they closed. Yummy cocktail and mocha. Thank you

Been to this cafe twice! Brilliant food my son says the milkshake is better than starbucks, and the best hotdogs he has ever tasted. Xena served us and interacted brilliantly with my son both visits. If I'm ever walking on the canal with my children ill definately drop in for a coffee! Couldn't recommend more!

Lovely place near the Canal, the lady who served us was very welcoming, we sat outside and had something to eat whilst watching the views, the hot chocolate is amazing from there!

Well visited this lovely cafe twice today, once before my walk and again on my return. The coffee was lovely as was the carrot cake on my second visit. The young lady who served both times is a treasure, so polite and friendly and a great asset to the cafe. Highly recommend you visit as I always call in on my regular visits to Hebden Bridge. well another visit and highly recommend the ice cream- delicious

We loved this cafe. Really nice feel in there. And delicious cakes. We liked the creative studio/shops here that can be browsed and purchases can be made. There will be a gallery there soon. What a lovely place, so full of character and right next to the canal. The whole place is do accessible too. How welcoming.

Stopped off for a coffee which was perfect in comfortable canal side location. Add to that friendly service meaning we had a great break.

Cute location and quirky décor. But, was pretty dirty when we visited - cobwebs, tables and surfaces just neglected, menus, china and cutlery dirty... Low stars as also didn't have the ingredients for what we wanted from the menu, got order wrong, ice cream cone was stale, milk not offered or brought to the table with coffee...

The difficult thing is deciding which sort of cake to have with your coffee.

They have proper home made cakes. The parsnip and ginger was super as was the gooey chocolate. I'll have to have courgette and lime next time. It's on the canal side so you can sit outside and watch the boats go by .

Nice location but could do with some attention to detail. Patio area full of cigarette butts and weeds, toilet needs proper cleaning and replen, some of the patio chairs are damaged. Tea and coffee ok. Choc fudge cake rather dry. Unsociable loud dance music playing.

The best place for a coffee in Hebden !!!
