Lovely young people working there and so polite at table waiting. The place seems really clean and fresh too. The food was homemade and yummy too

I've enjoyed many breakfasts here. Can recommend. Only 9 tables, with good turnover, this is a small nicely styled family-run cafe that also does excellent cakes. They keep the breakfast menu simple with Full English and Large Full English, with excellent thick sliced wholemeal bread available.

Two of us had a Sunday ooked breafast full works delicious and fried bread as requested. Have pre booked for a few weeks time mid week.

The lady sasha i think her name was considering it was very busy her customer service was amazing she was so polite and checked in with us to make sure our food was nice and If we needed anything. She’s a credit to the business! Xx

I was treated to a surprise birthday breakfast here. Everything was great, freshly cooked hot food on hot plates as it should be. Service was great too. The place itself is pleasantly bright and airy. It got quite busy by lunchtime but I hadn't noticed until we got up to leave. Thank you to the staff for making my day that little more special.

First time visit. Enjoyed my food, pleasent service . Clean fresh feel. It can feel a little crowded with tables close , but never the less, I enjoyed my visit and certainly would visit again

Lovely place for a breakfast, bright and light and the food and service was wonderful.

This is a great cafe. Staff are very friendly and we have always had a really lovely all day breakfast here. The quality of the food is just that bit better than many places and they pay real attention to presentation. The cafe itself has a lovely old school vintage feel from the decor to the music and it appeals to all sorts from young couples, families and older people.

Fabulous little cafe serving the most delicious food. Love having breakfast here as it is always freshly cooked and comes out piping hot. Good portions, lovely service, great value.

It is amazing from the general look of the place to the food to the kindness of the staff. Everything there ties together and the chairs are comfy and there are flowers in the center of every table. The food is exquisite and there is something for everyone from cooked breakfasts, to sandwiches for lunch to pancakes for the kids. The staff are so lovely with excellent service. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice cosy place for brunch

We called in at Heath's for a coffee but spoiled ourselves with Brunch as well. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Having ordered, our coffees came up very quickly. We had to a while for out meals to arrive but it was busy and we were happy chatting whilst we waited. When the food arrived, it was hot and beautifully cooked. As I am disabled, we will certainly visit Heath's more often, if there is a space to park nearby.

Went here at 9am on Friday 3rd March. It quickly filled up. Ordered drinks included in the breakfast price with two breakfasts, veggie and crushed avocado with poached eggs. It was all so beautifully presented and exceptional food. Never been here before but will definitely return. Service was brilliant as was the quality of the food.

I came here for breakfast before my hairdressers appointment and ordered a veg breakfast for my mum and a regular breakfast for myself. I am not able to drink hot drinks and as tea and coffee was included in with the breakfast I asked if it would be ok to change the hot drink for a fresh orange juice which was the same price as the cappuccino that came with my mums breakfast. I was told this was not allowed and I was required to pay the additional £2.50 for the juice. I then asked that there was 2 items removed from my breakfast but asked if I could add a poached egg. I was told they could remove items but I would be charged to add an item which didn’t seem fair when I was paying the same price for a breakfast with two less items. All in all it would appear that the staff are not able to alter anything on the menu at all and this therefore didn’t make for good customer service. I truly cannot believe that a cold drink to the same value of a hot drink cannot be substituted.

Lovely food presented well tasted lovely

As a local and after a disappointing experience last time I convinced my husband to give it another try. This unfortunately turned out to be a mistake. My children wanted an English breakfast, however the only option on the menu is a full size breakfast that comes with a free tea and coffee @ £7.50. Like the majority of children, they didn’t want the tea and coffee they wanted a milkshake instead. The waitress in charge would not allow this as a substitute. Further more, my children didn’t like all the items included and again we weren’t allowed to substitute (my daughter only had 4 of the 8 items) Only complaining the waitress did (reluctantly) agree to take £2 off off the price of each of the meal. I queried with the waitress why they didn’t have a childrens breakfast option or why they couldn’t offer a substitute drink, her reply was that they could have tea or coffee… and they had never had this complaint before. I find this surprising. The waitress was completely dismissive of my feedback and was quite patronising. Sadly this was their second chance and I won’t now be returning. On the flip side the food was actually nice, however I won’t return due to the service.

Extremely efficient and welcoming. Service was very good. My wife and I both chose the full English breakfast. Quality of the food was excellent and very well presented on the plate. Very good value for money. We will visit again.

Always great food. Service is excellent even if you have to wait slightly longer to receive your food - it is always cooked fresh so well worth the wait.

We have always dodged this place ever since it opened as it always seemed empty, and a bit on the pricey side. How wrong were we as we went there today and were shocked at how nice and friendly it was. The food and tea being good an absolute bonus. The staff were very friendly and the food wonderful, and not too long in waiting for. It has now become out eatery of choice in Drayton. Thank you to all for a lovely, tasty brunch.

I've had one of the best brunches ever with mushrooms to absolutely die for, compliments to your chef. I would highly recommend this, the attention to detail and cooking skills are superb. The afternoon tea looked sublime also, how lucky are we locals to have this near to us! I look forward to returning. Charming and good service. Thank you.

Have been to Heath quite a few times before and have always been happy, but today I went in for lunch the waitress was not wearing a mask and quite a lot of customers went up to the counter with out masks.

A wonderful discovery on our visit to Portsmouth. Lovely welcome, very clean and safe and the scrambled were the best we'd had in a long time!

Had an excellent light lunch here - pate and toast, plenty of both, served with salad and pickles. My friend had Camembert and toast similarly served. Pleasant staff. I would happily revisit.

We felt welcomed even though we arrived 45 mins before close. The girl running the place on her own was attentive without being overbearing, very polite and had a nice caring attitude towards us. Food was great, a sandwich and an English breakfast, very helpful with some minor modifications (Ie. No mushrooms etc). Overall we left more than happy with our visit.

What a lovely little tea room / Cafe, nice decor, friendly well respected staff, saw a little girl specially bring in a drawing for the obviously much loved chef. Great prices for extremely good quality food, a very healthy breakfast as hardly any fat used during cooking. For a very small price I upgraded to a hot chocolate with cream instead of having the tea or coffee included in the Breakfast price.

Brilliant breakfast freshly cooked

Have been here a couple of times and unfortunately things seem to be getting steadily worse. The usual condensation on the windows obliterating any outside view and this time due to the lack of ventilation , warmth and cooking smells an uncomfortable experience both of us being pleased to get outside for some fresh air. Unfortunately our escape was delayed as it took 40 minutes after ordering a pancake and cooked breakfast for it to be served. Our drinks came earlier but were delivered by a waitress talking to someone else whilst serving us. There was no explanation or apology for the delay. We were able to observe the hygiene practices which inlcude leaving the milk out on the counter in a warm environment, not cleaning the milk steamer after use, serving sugar lumps into takeaway tea with fingers, brushing the counter clean on to the floor with a bare hand and plenty of crumbs around the tables. Our breakfasts when they did arrive were nicely presented and tasty although the the butter seemed to be cheap marg. It's a shame, it could be much better but I'll be giving Heaths a miss for a while.

Wonderful little cafe in Drayton off the beaten track. Hidden gem! Great service, decor, food etc... Breakfasts, cream/savoury/high teas, cakes etc... Highly recommend.

We were quite a large party but all the food was brought out hot and fresh. The ingredients used are good quality and the plates were well presented. It's quite a limited menu but the prices are very reasonable. The place is comfortable and well decorated. They treated my friend's child like it was his birthday too so everyone enjoyed their time here. Definitely recommended and I'll be coming back again soon.

The food was hot and tasty, although one breakfast was served on a chipped plate. The only drawback was no real butter to accompany the toast.The service was good, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming.

El personal no era del todo amable y rayando en ser grosero. La señora que nos atendió no hizo ningún intento de sonreír y no se relacionó con los clientes.No recomendaría Heaths, principalmente por la actitud del personal y el mal servicio.

We arrived at 2.50 on Sunday afternoon not knowing they shut at 3pm. They still cooked all fresh food. Only downside was we were sat in the window and it was damp and cold. Staff were extremely helpful in particular about my allergies and disability. x

Desafortunadamente, debido a la falta de ventilación adecuada y a la falta de extracción en la cocina (¡podría ver humo en la cocina!)¡Oler a patatas fritas que básicamente me dejaron un poco nauseabundo por el resto del día! ! ! Entonces, aunque la comida estaba bien, no volverá debido a dicho olor aceitoso. : (

Bit of a mixed review, much like the service. The essentials: The food we had was very nice, good quality and very good value (£5.25 for a vegetarian breakfast INC coffee or tea, yes please!). The service was.. Odd. On the one hand, we were seated straight away and given a menu, all good so far, we were then asked if anyone else was joining us.. I'm not sure why. The menu choice consisted of 3 breakfast items so, somewhat limited. I have an intolerance and this was also... Oddly received. If you don't have an intolerance or allergy it might be hard to relate to, but it's a scary expertise eating out and it's vital that your server or chef folks you with confidence that they know about allegens, they know about what allegens are on their dishes and to make you feel safe that there weren't be any in your meal. Unfortunately that wasn't the case at Heath's. The decor was very nice and set a good scene, there are about 5 tables iirc. Oh and coffee was lovely and they had soya milk available which did not curdle in the coffee (which can happen with non dairy milks). Overall a good breakfast today with nice coffee and great value, but service does have a big impact on the experience.

Best breakfast in Drayton forget the expensive prices of Zetties the value here is fantastic and the breakfasts are beautifully cooked. I always have the vegetarian probably the nicest I’ve had outside of an expensive hotel.

Staff really friendly and really attentive, we called in advance to order some bacon rolls/ coffees and everything was ready when we arrived to collect. The bacon rolls were amazing!! Thank you, we will be returning!

Visito muchos salones de té y debo decir que definitivamente volvería a visitarlo y también lo recomendaría a otros que busquen un lugar agradable para visitar. Tomamos su té de la tarde y fue uno de los bien presentados que he tenido. La elección de sándwiches que podía elegir era genial, el pan era realmente fresco y suave. Bollos bien también. Teníamos pastelitos para terminar, que normalmente tienes pastel para elegir en otros salones de té, pero como todos sabemos, siempre estás lleno para cuando llegues a ser dulce de todos modos. Así que los empacamos para llevar a casa y disfrutar más tarde. Si ? A Heath's y esperamos volver a visitarlo.

Visited there today. They were obviously closing. However, they accommodated us with toasted sandwiches and drinks. Nothing was too much trouble. Tea was served in bone china cups with real tea. Sandwiches had plenty of filling. The place itself was tastefully decorated and had a relaxed atmosphere. The lady there was so nice. Definitely worth a visit

My first time here, i had a Spanish omelette with fries and side salad, the omelette was spot on, cooked to perfection. Hot crispy fries, and a pleasant salad garnish. I chose a pot of tea, made with leaves not bags, it was a real treat. Prompt service, good value, highly recommended

Our normal meeting place was closed so we ended up here by chance. The food was excellent, the let down was the waitress, she doesn’t come across as friendly in the least, almost rude. She’s very efficient but seriously needs a lesson in customer service sadly. If it hadn’t been for that this would have received 5 stars. We did wait along time for food but we were chatting so it didn’t matter.

I am so torn with this review, I so want to support local businesses, so I really hope the owner of Heath's reads these reviews and takes on board what we are saying, as I'm not the only one. In summary, great food, but way too long to wait, which is such a shame as it puts us off going back, and certainly not somewhere to quickly pop for a quick lunch as we'd like. I agree there is a balance of waiting for good food, but not that long! We popped in for sandwiches, but after 45 mins of waiting, still nothing, the coffee was great, but we'd finished it by the time the sandwiches came. The sandwiches were great, but I think everything is made one at a time, no forward planning of future orders, so although there aren't many tables in there, the wait time is too long. I feel something needs to change for this place to have longevity. Please please please Heath's take note and improve your service (i.e. wait times). We are now torn …

Really good breakfast, not at all greasy, particularly liked the bacon and mushroom and bread. Everything good quality. Service was friendly. Enough space for push chair. Really comfortable, clean and relaxed atmosphere. Took a while for food to arrive but this wasn’t an issue for us as wasn’t in a rush. Very reasonably priced too.

Had afternoon tea at Health's today. Absolutely fabulous! Excellent service, lovely setting, brilliant music and the food was amazing. Delicious sandwiches made with rustic bread and gorgeous cakes and scones. We couldn't eat it all and had to bring the scones home with us. Highly recommended.

Lovely coffee and Hot Chocolate for two on a mid week morning. Also ordered a hearty and fabulous sausage and bacon sandwich each, sausages in particular were very tasty. Will be popping on for one of their full breakfasts soon.

People often say loved the service but food was dire..or loved the food but service was poor...i say if the food is good then you are onto a winner!! The food here is very good..the tea ia served loose in china,the food portions are generous and are cooked beautifully..menu is short and concise i like it and the decor apt...give Heaths a go i have and i have returned every month !!

I have been to Heath’s on a few occasions and the food is pretty good, but it takes so longgggg to be servered.

Visited with a friend for a very first time! I ordered the Heath’s hot chocolate and my friend cappuccino! Hot chocolate was great! I specified the cappuccino to be without chocolate powder on the top, however, it was delivered the way we didn`t want. The guy behind the till didn`t speak good English, so he couldn`t understand me properly. The service was slow even a few customers inside. Lucky, we haven`t ordered lunch, we probably would wait a long time. Not visiting again.

Have now been there a few times, both for lunch and afternoon tea. The coffee and Carrot cake was lovely on Monday afternoon, and we have previously had really nice light lunches there. Very friendly service, nice and welcoming.
