Excellent service, succulent, generous meat portions. Very tasty .

Food was tasteless,sugary,rubbery, awful .The worst I’ve ever eaten .Never again

This place has never failed to be spot on. We have been ordering here for years now and it's the best Indian food in Bournemouth in my opinion. We've tried other places at times due to distance or other people ordering but this place cant be beaten.

Madras was flavourless and had the consistency of water, it was more of a drink than a curry. Sag aloo or sak aloo as it's written down on the menu was also totally flavourless. The only thing that had any flavour was the mint sauce.

The food was piping hot and amazing as usual. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal and outstanding delivery service. Please thank your delivery driver for being so helpful.

I made a mistake in my ordering and wanted delivery but ordered a collection, not a problem these guys sorted the delivery very quickly. Not only the the food was really tasty, good quality and definitely getting my next order

Food never arrived! When the driver called me and said he was outside he wasn't, when I tried calling the driver he kept ending the call!!

Only one garlic naan arrived despite paying for two.

First time using heart of India as my usual Indian takeaway has changed ownership and isn't very nice anymore. I wish I had started using heart of India ages ago. The food was really nice and the delivery time was quick for a Saturday night

Have you got a new chef/owners? Sorry but today's was awful, soggy fried rice, watery Kurma and bland Patia - most unlike you guys?

If I could give this place a minus review I would. We ordered online for delivery and paid and an hour later when our food hadn’t arrive my husband called the store. They said they had no recognition of our order. We then sent them a text of the confirmation of payment and order and they still refused to release the order. They have taken our money and completely refused to deliver the food. Would never order from here again

For the third time in a row the food arrived only slightly warm and had to be re-heated!!! The shop is less than 5 minutes away by car!!

We've previously had very yummy food from your restaurant however this evening was a little disappointing, the naan bread was very hard and we were unable to eat it and sadly alot of the food was cold! Admittedly the flavours where still very good its just such a shame for the money our meal was a little ruined this evening

Went for the £19.95 set meal for 2 - yes for 2! and it was a fantastic value. Starter, two curries, sharing rice, sag aloo, peshwari naan, poppadoms, salads and dips - Hot and fresh, very tasty. Polite and friendly driver. Highly recommend.

The delivery person was on time, polite, and courteous. The food was fine, nothing special. We ordered poppadoms, as you normally get some with the meal and we wanted extra, we only got two poppadoms.

Best Samosas in town. The biryani was fresh like everything else and good quality and quantity of meat. Prawn puri could be improved and the puri was packed with the prawns so arrived soggy so let the rest of the meal down. Would recommend and order again from here. Delivery was early by a lovely driver. It arrived hot.

Most of the food was cold the only thing that had some heat to it was the curries the onion bahjies were cold the chips were cold and the naan was cold we will not be ordering again from this takeaway again

The meat was lovely but the potatoes and cauliflower in the bombay potatoes, and aloo gobi and sak aloo was vitually unedible as they were not cooked properly also I put a note on the order not to ring the bell as I have a sleeping autistic child who hates the doorbell and the delivery driver rung the bell twice and he apologised but said he was in a rush which I think was not good enough and a cop out!

Really nice. Great having a small feast. Food was really hot. Samosas are incredible. Rice portion was maybe a bit small as everything else seems really generous. Great naan also.

Food really bad prawn purree not cooked was cold and chewy and they forgot to put coconut in my naan wish I hadn't bothered prawn curry was just OK...

Consistently excellent freshly prepared food and generous portions. This is how restaurants gain loyalty, and there are few like this one. Their curries are not drenched in oil, or cooked in old oil. Neither do they use just one base curry and throw boiled meat into it, just for a bit of flavour (something I have come across in the Bournemouth and Poole area quite a lot). Tikka is not just reheated and rubbery, but you can really taste the difference here. Highly recommended.

the curry tasted like it was unfrozen and had this awful puree texture. I normally love indian curry but this was really disappointing with minimal flavour and an unpalatable texture. the chicken in there was so tough too and the samosas were incredibly greasy, the bag was practically soaked. It took more than hour to arrive, just barely making the delivery window and maybe this is a nitpick but the driver didn't want to come to my door, not leaving his car until i called and asked where he was. It was really disappointing all around and definitely not worth the money.

The food was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering

Order arrived in 15 mins on a friday night! However, my food was lukewarm, not even hot. The food was still tasty.

Unfortunately 2 of our dishes smelt very strong or almost like cigarette smoke and also tasted like it. The korma and tikka masala was absolutely fine and tasted nice was just the other 2 dishes we couldn't eat.

Food arrived hot but thought the curry was a bit bland on this occasion.

There is no food hygiene certificate displayed, there was a man praying on a mat just by the reception desk, when i came in. I ordered the kitchen looked dirty and no cooking went on yet the meal came out whicheas luke warm and disgusting. I can understand now why it was empty.

If I could give no stars ✨️ I would. Ordered from here on a number of occasions and the foods always been nice. On this occasion our food tasted like someone had poured a whole pot of salt over it. Not nice. Won't be ordering again 😒
