Just walked in here as it was close to home , my usual place was closed. Omg! The food was fantastic! Lamb madras full of tender chunks of lean lamb ,butterfly king prawn starter was so huge and tasty ,garlic nan ,cooked to perfection! And two free popodoms with mint dip.Staff were extremely friendly and i will most definitely be going hereclea from now on. Extremely clean premises also ! Can see food being cooked , awesome takeaway! ❤️ Week later im back , had a lamb dahnsak, cooked to perfection, spices were well balanced , slight ' bite' to the pulses , overall , beautiful as was the garlic nan , seriously great chef ! Only tried the korma but absolutely tasteless, shame because it was well cooked and good ingredients. Couldn't taste any coconut or cream. Disappointing

Oh my days, for the love of god employ someone who can take an order on the phone PLEASE or sort your website out. You are the best curry in the area but why have someone answer the phone if they cant speak English.

Had a set menu takeaway from here and it was totally awesome. Thought it was a fluke so I ordered on 2 more occasions and every time it has been delicious, was delivered hot, super quick and the food is very authentic. Best curry house in Bournemouth in my opinion.

Price is too high! No free salad or poppadoms like other places do even though we made a huge £60 order. Food was OK but other places are cheaper and better. Delivery took 1.5hrs!

Absolutely amazing! The Curry Master always serves me amazing food! A great selection of curries and the people there are always super friendly and welcoming. And they are super quick at making your food too. I would highly recommend anyone to get food from there.

Well, not wanting to castigate Currymaster but we have been ordering takeaways from them for some time now and the quantity of lamb has gone down by about a quarter to a third. Now, if they continue down this route we will stop ordering and go elsewhere. Please improve.

When I think of a traditional curry I used to think of Curry master they were always reliable but they have changed the quality is not the same the standard seems to have slipped and they even forgot part of our order

Since living in Bournemouth since July I have tried 9 curry houses. This is by a long shot the best one so far and my quest for a good curry house has ended. Curry was perfect, bread was soft yet crispy on outside, sag aloo had the perfect potato/spinach ratio and the rice was steaming. And for £14 I have never had such good value for money with an Indian takeaway. 10/10

Excellent service.I had arranged a fundraising party and needed food for 40 people. Went for vegetable curry with rice so it could cater for everyone. Food was supplied very hot and was absolutely delicious and it went down very well with all the guests, so much so people were asking for seconds Huge hit and highly recommend

Curry master? More like curry disaster.. late. Cold. Tasted bland. Think the driver ran over the onion bajhis as we're flat as pancakes.. atleast the driver could see the funny side when he said "I bet your hungry" yeah I was. Left the food and had a bag of crisps instead. Would give no stars if was a option

Really nice meal from Curry Master. It arrived within half an hour and all the food was fresh. The chips were crispy, cheese and garlic naan was really tasty and the tikka massala was lovely and creamy with lots of chicken. It came with a free popodom for each meal and free delivery. Really well priced too. Would definitely recommend.

We ordered.from here tonight and it took 2 1/2 hours to get to us. ! However, although there was a delay, I must say the food was amazing! We have been trying to find somewhere since Akis closed in Southbourne, and must say that tonight you hit the mark! The food was tasty and my husband scored 10/10, the only thing that I could add, is that more.chunks of chicken would be welcome, and although the food was delayed, I do think we would order again x

My favourite takeaway. I go for the garlic chilli massala and it's my favourite curry I have had anywhere in the UK so far.

Different to my usual place in Chesterfield, tasted like there was a lot of paprika in it. Still very nice meat though and enjoyed it overall 👌

We are from Poole side bearcross thought we try another curry place. We love curry. one of my favourite foods and some can tested deferent. This place gets 5 starts across the board. I hope this place keeps going coz we will be back. Thank you for your lovely food.

Disappointed after ordering a curry from here on New Year’s Day. Ordered based on previous good reviews. Lamb in the madras was very fatty and tough, generally poor quality. Sauce was bland, lacking flavour and heat you would expect from a madras. Same issues with the vegetable dansak, average curry and lacking flavour. Sag Aloo was ok, not the best and mushroom rice was also underwhelming. Perhaps we caught them on an off day, however would not order from here again.

We have used this place for our curries for a long time and have always been very happy with what we have ordered. But our last order has upset both our stomachs and made us feel unwell. So will not be ordering from them again

Always top quality food, delivered hot and on time. The midweek special, is more than enough for 2 and great value for money.

You cant better this place for service and fresh cooked food in frount of your face .nothing to hide very high standard of higene.... Plenty of exciting things on the menu and really good prices monday to thursday deals

My husband & I were recommended by a neighbour 3 years ago that curry master was a good Indian takeaway. We have not been disappointed- delicious curry’s & have kindly catered to our taste when we request lots of garlic to be added too! Friendly service & excellent food- so happy we have this little gem around the corner from us.

I was looking for a curry house so I picked out curry master as not had for a while ordered peswari naan ,rice, saag aloo, chicken masala .... very nice inndeed

An unassuming little takeaway, but lives up to its name. Every dish we ordered was flavoured perfectly right down to the rice. Worked out nearly 20% cheaper than the usual place we order from. Will definitely order from them again.

Curry Master? that’s a misnomer; Curry Disaster would be a far more appropriate name for this business. It’s not just the curry they serve what disgusted me, it’s also the person who recommended it. How can you eat here and not know it’s terrible. Some reviewers on here ask ‘why the bad reviews’ my question is: how can anyone give it more than one star after eating here?

After waiting well over an hour for our food, when it arrived it was cold. The chicken tikka masala had minimal pieces of chicken in it. We rang to inform them of our dissatisfaction and was told by the very rude manger that there was nothing they could do about it and the denied that their food could possible by cold. We were very disappointed with the food, service and lack of customer service skills! We will not be using this restaurant ever again!

Good quality and portion sizes for the money. Sometimes there are delays in delivery so if you're hungry, collect the food yourself. Either way, collection or delivery, it's worth the wait.

This place has to be one of the best curry houses in Bournemouth. Very reasonable menu prices, fast delivery and mega tasty food. Just ordered the Prawn Puree starter (big enough for 2), fresh & perfectly spiced. Main course- chicken jalfrezi, tender marinated chicken cooked with toms, onion, green chilli... beautiful. The pilow rice was frequent & tasted delicious, great to accompany my other dishes.... Thank you Curry Master for being so consistent & making my night.

We've been using curry master for 5-6 years and although not more than 3-4 times a year we've never been disappointed. Always delicious always more than you can eat in one go and never been disappointed and although we are about 3 miles away always on time, so I really don't get why the bad reviews... Prawns rock hard like been microwaved 5 times and "lamb" (mutton) so tough couldnt get fork out of meat once in. Complained and asked for money back. Wouldnt do and rude on phone. Will not go back. Will be reporting to food standards as prawns were old.

Hemos estado utilizando Currymaster para 10 años y ha sido una excelente comida. Los platos son siempre muy sabrosa, y a un precio razonable. Tienen sólo tenía 1 problema con nuestra entrega (plato equivocado, Señor Ali entregado) pidió disculpas y nos dio un curry la próxima vez que pedimos. Ningún otro hindú para llevar ha superado.

Food is always hot and taste great.service is always quick and friendly I enjoy going there it's also close to home and food is lovely.

We don't have Indian regularly but over the last seven years Mr Ali's food has always been perfect. Had takeaway last night and as usual, it was perfect.

I was eating from that place for years But No More!! OMG, someone told me (he used to work there) that they use "Butter Ghee" in every dish!!! including rice, (and I've done some research on it). This butter ghee is even fatty than pure butter.If you are not concerned about fatty food than that's your choice. (i think everybody is). "Butter Ghee" is very high in saturated fat, which can lead to serious Heath Problems. it can also lead to clogged blood vessels.

We used this place a lot when I first moved to the area but the quality got worse and worse so we decided to go elsewhere. Twelve months later we thought we'd give it another chance but wish we hadn't. The food has improved slightly and the meat didn't seem to have been from yesterdays leftovers as it had done before. However, the only part of the meal that was hot was the main curry dishes, everything else was cold, the rice, the side dish, the onion bhaji's and the nan were all stone cold. I don't expect to have to microwave most of my home delivery when the outlet is only 500 yards down the road.

Ordered 2 meals from this place while staying at Best Western on Durley Rd South. After 45 mins, we thought it wasn't coming. Then the driver called- he couldn't find us and had great difficulty understanding us as we tried to direct him. He said he didn't have a map!I stood outside looking for him for at least 15 minutes. Eventually I told him to take it back. A few minutes later he arrived with it. The food was okay. I was surprised that the vegetarian curry is mostly potato (I was expecting mixed veg/lentils) and it made my order of saag aloo unnecessary.

I had recently been informed of a brilliant Indian take away in Charminster called Curry Master and thought I would try it out. It has a very complete menu which is easy to order from, not forgetting the easy to spot meal deals which are very student friendly as well as the 10% discounts for all students who spend over £10. I ordered one of the meal deals which you can specialise and I found that a big plus compared to other take aways and collected the meal which was ready within 15 minutes a very quick turnover time in my experience. I had the starter Sheek Kebab followed by the main lamb rogan josh, both were still hot when I arrived back home which I consider very important and tasted as good as the best Indian restaurants I have been to before.I very much recommend you try it!

We have just moved into the Charminster area and thought we would try Curry Master. It was a disaster, they sent the wrong food, someone else's order and they overcharged us.We will never use these people again and we will tell all our friends

Probably the best take-out curry I have ever had. The Chicken Dhansak was divine, and the raita dip provided free with the popadums was out of this world. Only drawback is that they don't take cards, but this little niggle aside, this place is highly recommended!

Having been told about this takeaway by friends who live nearby, we tried it. It was lovely, fresh and succulent food. Reasonably priced and quick enough. We collected and were given free poppadoms and raita. The dip was gorgeous and the bhajis were very nice, not greasy at all.
