Amazing experience for our first night in London. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. I rated the noise level as kind of high, but it didn’t bother us because it’s a pub. It’s supposed to be loud, or it’s probably not a very fun place. LOL

Came from Chicago, US for Sunday roast. Exceeded all our expectations. We had the two vegetarian options and both were wonderful. Beer selection was great and everyone was very welcoming.

This coffee shop cum restaurant was set up by charity working with people with mental illness. It needs to have reduced stimulation for when they attend. It is achieved Good food and good serices

Friendly and lively pub serving great chips and good beer and food. Outside seating is pleasant in a triangle of trees. One of the nicest pubs around!

First time for us at this cute gastropub near Dalston. The food was much more adventurous than we had expected - and really nice! The waiter serving us was great - the pub just could do a better job at welcoming guests and getting them to their table.

I booked a table for 13 people here for my birthday for Sunday roast and we were so well looked after. I didn’t need to put a deposit down or pre order food which made the whole process easy and stress free. The staff were all so friendly and the roast was delicious and great value for money. Lovely atmosphere and overall a brilliant pub - I will be back!

Fabulous food thank you chef ! It’s a real buzzing place, full of young happy people, I was probably the oldest there. Yes it was really noisy but the vibs were wonderful and I will be back, great service too A great evening all round !

Great pub for a drink but our roasts had over cooked grey beef and under cooked roast potatoes. Definitely going back for a pint but wouldn’t eat there again.

Fabulous and delicious meal served by polite, efficient and friendly staff. I really enjoyed the pint of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord. Minor point, but dining room ambience spoiled a bit by non diners using the room as a telephone booth.

Food is always top notch and service is friendly. Some truly obnoxious people next to us made it difficult to converse on the night we went but certainly not the restaurants fault. It’s normally very laid back as a vibe!

Delicious starters and meals but the brownie was overcooked and very hard to cut with a spoon, not very appreciable. Also, very noisy, hard to hear each other while having diner.

Really outstanding job by the staff to host 16 of us for a Sunday roast the day after my wedding in the side dining room. The food was really delicious too. Highly recommend!

We booked here for our last night in London for our vacation. The food was great and the desserts did not disappoint. Would definitely go back if we ever go to London again.

Looked really promising from the outside but this was the most tasteless food I've eaten all year. We had a filled pitta sandwich and apart from a few chopped tomatoes on top and a drizzle of sauce - it just contained bland mush. On paper it was french fries and felafel but it was soggy tasteless mush. Then to add insult to injury the price at the til was higher than the prices on the menu and they added a ridiculous 12.5% service charge. Wish we'd never gone there.

We love this Pub and the ambiance is always really nice. However, it's been twice that the food is not good. It's really too oily and fat. I don't know if they have changed chef but we missed the delicious plates from before...

Very nice dinner at Scolt Head. Kitchen closed a bit early and we weren’t able to get dessert, but all in all very nice staff and good food. Great atmosphere on the terrace.

Excellent food, with efficient and enthuiastic service. The only drawback was that the noise level was very high making conversation difficult - some soft surfaces to absorb some sound would be useful.

The menu is frequently revised always imaginatively and the variety of the offer often contains some surprises (good ones) Love the bars and atmosphere. It has become the regular destination for a group of six of us living in all corners of this immediate north East London area. A fabulous hq as it were.

Used to be one of my favourite pubs in De Bouvoir because the house and garden are beautiful. Unfortunately the staff that tends now seem to think that it is cool to be rude to customers. If you don’t like dealing with people or being asked to look up from your phone to take our order or bring the card machine THEN DONT WORK IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY. Harrowing treatment of staff.

On a Friday/Saturday evening a table outside would be my preference as it is terribly noisy inside. Food is ok, chicken wings were amazing. The terrace is well equipped with huge umbrellas in case it rains.

This is usually a great local pub with good gastro food. I had a birthday dinner here and was really disappointed with how rude the staff were. We were 5mins late to the table and received an angry call from the manager saying they were going to give our table away (even though there is a 15min late policy). Friends who were at the dinner told me how waiting staff had been rude to them at the bar and a waitress kissed her teeth as we were leaving. Considering we were a large party bringing good business to the pub, I was really disappointed with the poor level of service and how rude many of the staff were. The food and atmosphere was great otherwise.

I visited last Friday and it was my first time there. I love the place and the atmosphere. The only bad note to my night out was a member of the bar that didn't seem quite happy to be there and serve customers. I work in hospitality too and I do understand that sometimes life gets in the way and you would rather be somewhere else than working. but still...I would have expected a more friendly staff. I will definitely go back

Great Sunday lunch for our group of 8 in the pretty outdoor courtyard space. Service was excellent and portions generous. Bonus having more than one veggie option for the Sunday roast!

We walked for 13 minutes to get to this bar restaurant. My colleagues complained continuously on this journey. When we arrived we repaired the garden was beautiful and the energy perfect. After figuring out how to order at the bar we were surprised at how fast the food came and how fresh it was. The food is prepared to perfection. You get what you ask for with the steaks. The meat was so good I had to go and shake the owners hand even before I’d finished my meal. Which wasn’t easy because I was slightly tipsy. We booked immediately for the next day just because the food was that good!!!! Fresh fun and great people

Great ambience, we got a very nice spot surrounded by ivy. Too bad there was no table service, this was not stated clear anywhere so we waited quite long before finding out. We received the wrong dish but they changed it quickly and overall the food was good.

Relaxed casual community based pub a sling shot off the A10 at Dalston. Mixed and varied clientèle always a good vibe. It does not matter at what time of year I visit the scolt head I'm always remembered by the wonderful staff team welcomed and looked after with a chilled light touch. Food is always on point great beer and drinks choices a delightful pit stop for me during a busy day and I leave wanting to stay longer and looking fwd to a return visit.

Lovely food and really nice relaxed pub . Would have preferred staff serving my food to have worn masks , especially as they were unaware of who had ordered what , so chatting over my food not ideal . Probably not an issue for some but worth bearing in mind
