Delicious Turkish food, a relaxed ambiance, beautiful modern clean decor, and attentive, friendly staff. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

We needed a venue close to Liverpool St station and this restaurant is just a 5 minute walk, so perfect. A quiet Tuesday evening, but enough tables to make a decent atmosphere. Three of us went for the 2-course menu, sharing starters of humus, kisir and tabule served with nice crusty bread. Separate mains of vegetable moussaka, Chicken shish, served with vegetables, and lamb tagine. The dishes were generously sized (perhaps too generous!) and very tasty. After a leisurely break, we shared two desserts between us - baklava and a milk jelly, which was delicious. Staff were efficient and attentive... could maybe be a little more engaging, but really we could not fault anything. Would we return - yes!

Service - good, friendly and attentive Food - avoid, the steak was a sad loss of life of the poor cow, and I’m not vegan … please see image for reference. We ordered the food and it arrived 2 seconds late. The borek was tastey but clearly microwaved, olives had a weird aftertaste, hummus was not homemade and clearly store bought, lamb was abismal. Please avoid. Owner was not happy that we asked to take the £36 steak off of the bill.

Ben si intenda che a Londra tutto costa di più della media, per cui bisogna adattarsi ai prezzi elevati a fronte di quanto si mangia; però siamo rimasti soddisfatti di questa interessante cucina! Un appunto...ma con comprensione...l'espresso e il macchiato erano impresentabili, soprattutto a 4 sterline ciascuno...da quel momento e per tre giorni a Londra non abbiamo più preso un caffè...penso però che basterebbe una piccola macchina da caffè poco costosa per fare il caffè accettabile. Un apprezzamento al cameriere gentilissimo: cosa ci fa uno di Matera a Londra in un ristorante turco? Simpatico

When I go to a restaurant I like to know what they recommend. Nobody seemed keen to recommend anything so I went for a basic/safe choice (I thought) of lamb tagine. I never before used a second plate to collect the bones and massive spine morcels in a lamb tagine. It was more bone and fat than actual meat. At the price (over £100 for 2 for 2 courses and wine) you should expect a nice experience and nice food. My wife was thinking about booking for a work event there, now she's glad I tested it out first..

Came for a pre Xmas dinner/ Birthday celebration. Ordered a variety of starters and to be frank they were terrible. Perhaps they should stick to Turkish food? Baba Ganoush and kibbeh being Lebanese? The Baba ganoush was basically insipid oven roasted aubergine in yoghurt. No smokiness, no tahini, no garlic. Imam biyaldi - if the priest fainted it wasn't because he thought it was delicious! The breads were basically reheated and dry. My main was a disaster. Described as aged beef was just inappropriate. Aged how long .. 1 day ? There was no depth of flavour and it was more than 70% sinew and fat. The worst steak I've ever had in a restaurant. The meat hadn't been rested either after being cooked, so it was leaching liquid on my plate. The accompanying garnish was half a raw insipid beef tomato and a small piece of raw green pepper .The waiting staff just brought random dishes out of the kitchen and walked to 2-3 tables to find out who had ordered what. No one checked whether the food was any good. Having seen my barely eaten main didn't ask if it was ok. Save your money and get a taxi to Hackney for authentic, delicious Turkish food at a decent ocakbasi ( bbq restaurant) at half the price

After trying another restaurant that was fully booked. We walked around to the side of St Paul’s. I said that this place looks nice and a good menu. So was sat quickly outside which was lovely in the sun. We ordered drinking that arrived quickly. We ordered food I had smoked Salmon starter and asked to swap the bread for cucumber and carrot which was a really nice swap. And a portion of chips.One member had calamari along with rice the really fresh and taste.And Kuzu Shish which was really tasty. Staff were really helpful and friendly

A lovely meal and evening spoilt by rude idiots that feel is fine to swear at top note, well it's not fine. The restaurant manager needs to grow a pair, he should have told them to settle the bill and leave, leave like the 4 people sat behind them did, leave like we did and won't be coming back. There's a time and a place for everything, shouting c**t across a busy restaurant, even if outside is not acceptable. We won't be returning.

Great location, Just off busy Bishopsgate, but in a quiet location. (And please, check out the fabulous sculpture - knight on a horse - mere yards away in Devonshire Square..)Service was fine - smiley and attentive. I have been here once before and loved the food. This time ordered a meal for two to take away (I live locally) and had a drink while waiting. It arrived quickly and with a few extras. The food was as delicious as previously - subtle flavours, just right. I will definitely return.

When i worked close by , Haz was a shout prob once a week and being an italian whose family is internationally renowned in the food business i always gort excited when the haz shout went round the desk ... alas i work in west london now , so dont get to eat it that often , i went there with a school reunion for my birthday last year , and popped in witha client last week and my girlfreind last week for some mixed grills and some lamb chops , with a mixed grill to go to take to my father , who was going to eat it after he closed his own restaurant .... that evening my mum was brought home from our restaurant a meal , but she said she wanted me to take that into work for munch next day as she wanted to have half of the mixed grill that was brought in for dad......now my problem is that my mum loved is so much she made me drive an hour and quarter on sunday to fetch mixed grills for sunday lunch , an traditional English lady married to Italian its either roast dinner or pasta ragu on sunday , she said no she wanted haz which she had during the week again... this all boilsd down to say in 7 years or so ive nveer had a bad meal from here far from it ... i would like the haz bosses to know the albanian guy wwho works as a waiter on sunday is amazing , he really is a wonderful member of your team , i woiuld have him work for my family in an instant , a big success guys keep it going , im gonna pop in for some satureday luinch time take aways ok ...FIRST CLASS

Really average. I have been here a few times in many years and it has never been great. The best thing, and what first attracted me, was the smell. However, this smell is not the cooking of food but seems to be something they burn just to create that smell. The few times I've been here have left me disappointed. Experienced bad service and mediocre food. I had chicken and lamb dishes.

We have visited Haz twice and would highly recommend it for a romantic dinner. We had the mixed mezze starter and then mixed grills. The food was delicious and the waiters and waitresses were very attentive if not a bit too much! Lovely decor and we will definitely return

Nos encanta Haz, hemos estado mucho en este restaurante en particular y algunos de los otros en la ciudad de Londres a lo largo de los años. Realmente decepcionado con nuestra visita esta noche. La comida, como siempre, estuvo deliciosa y todo lo que esperábamos, sin embargo, a las 9. 30 nos sentimos realmente apurados para pagar nuestra factura e irnos. Encontramos este lugar en línea, no nos decepcionó, la comida era increíble y el servicio excelente, nuestro camarero Oli fue muy agradable, no entrometido, pero allí cuando fue necesario. My husband, son and I went into the City for a rare treat late lunch and could not decide on where to go. We ended up in Haz by chance and could not be more pleased. The food was delicious and healthy, in a calm, clean setting. It was mid afternoon on a Tuesday in August, just out of lockdown, so it wasn't packed but it was busy enough for a nice atmosphere while still feeling safe and socially distanced.The staff were lovely, very good with our 8 year old. We will definitely visit again!

A mis amigos y a mí nos encanta ir a Haz, pero anoche nuestra camarera la hizo aún más especial. Le dijimos que era el cumpleaños de nuestro amigo (realmente lo era) y ella hizo todo lo posible para que la cumpleañera se sintiera especial, incluso organizando tazas de té y limoncello de cortesía.Ella era increíblemente dulce e hizo que nuestra noche.

I have been coming here for over 10 years, never been disappointed. The food is great - the entire menu is excellent- portions are substantial too. the service always friendly. Manager attentive and charming. Clean and good location.

My friend and I went for a (not so) quick lunch break on a Friday. We both work around the area and I was looking for a nice restaurant for the 2 of us to catch up. It was a bit quiet, which was perfect for us. We sat by the window with lots of natural light. We had the 2 course selection and... the price-quality ratio was amazing! Great, tasty food for a very reasonable price! I had the lamb tagine and omg... it was delicious! I don't think I've had such a tender piece of lamb in a really loooooooong time! It was a perfect lunch break.

Ate lamb shish with spicy potatoes and salad. Decent portion, tasty food - especially liked the smoked aubergine purée. Baklava to finish - very tasty. Service attentive if a little cold. Unremarkable but perfectly enjoyable.

Booked a table for NYE, they called to confirm I was still coming but when we arrived they were closed!! I had no call back to say they wouldnt be open so we had to walk around for ages to find somewhere else....not great for NYE. Very poor service.

Absolutely terrible. The fish dish was terrible! Then to top it off we were over charged for two meals even though we did cancel in advance. Very disappointed. Most of the staff were lovely though.

I spent a few hours here with a friend for a catch-up and a meal. The staff at this restaurant go out of their way to make you have a really nice experience. The restaurant is a good size and the atmosphere is a calm one. The food was second to none. The lamb kofte was cooked to perfection, no grease in sight, just great wholesome cooked food. The 2-course selection is a good price. The staff are really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Ahmet and his team have got the right combination and this place is definitely somewhere that I will visit again and their limoncello liqueur is gorgeous.

Wir sind zu viert dahin gegangen, neben uns die wurden jede Minute gefragt wie es ihnen gefällt etc. Doch wir haben die ständig gerufen aber die kamen erstens trotzdem nicht und haben uns nicht richtig bedient. Außerdem kam das Essen kalt an. Die Getränke kamen ebenfalls eine Dreiviertelstunde später. Was noch umverschämt ist das wir bei so einem Service trotzdem 14£ Service Gebühren zahlen mussten. Ambiente war gut aber wir würden es niemanden empfehlen.

This restaurant was very busy when we visited but they found room for us quickly and we had a most enjoyable meal with good service. The only downside was that the toilets were down a considerable number of steps from the first floor dining area in the basement. A lift was provided but only for anyone disabled

Went on a Saturday night and it was not crowded. Polite friendly service that was quick. No music so you have a conversation. Food was great.

I took my young nephew how was in the city (near Liverpool Street) to a business lunch. I have been using Haz for some 15 years now and guess what they always deliver a fantastic meal. Ahmed is EXTREMELY hospital and always wlecome not just me but noticeably ALL guests with a warm greeting. Great place to visit if you are looking for an up market turkish meal. Pero para Londres probablemente esté bien (casi similar como en Suiza). Francamente, no entendí el punto de ofrecer vino como de botella, lo que definitivamente sabe mejor y más delicioso, pero también más caro, pero también como verter de una boca de riego (por lo que yo entiendo), ya que sabe mal. Sin embargo, todavía intenté disfrutar de mi comida.

Came here for dinner with a colleague visiting from Denmark (where the standard of food out is *so* high) and we were both delighted. Delicious food, excellent ambience and very friendly service.

We arrived as a group of 7 and were seated right away. Ordered a selection of great food and the drinks were delicious too. Perfect for after work food.

Starters were great. Bread with herbed yogurt was delicious. Hummus had perfectly level of nuttiness and tabuleh had just the right amount of citrus. For mains, we ordered lamb kofta and chicken shish. Lamb was wonderful - perfectly seasoned and tender. Chicken was ok. Neither came with rice, which we found a a bit odd. We did inquire and were given a side of rice on the house.

I have been coming here for 15 years, I never had s bad experience. It’s relaxing, clean, friendly and the good is to die for. Staff may be training so be patient. I always get a treat and I love it. Good for parties and excellent for dates . Easy access too

Very nice food, Patricia was very polite and took care of us. The humous is just amazing and the chicken is cooked properly, which we loved! The only bad thing is that starters arrived together with mains, except of that we had an amazing dinner!

I enjoy my visits to Haz on Cutler Street. The staff are welcoming and there's a relaxed atmosphere. They handle both quick and leisurely lunches, but still within an hour so there's plenty of time to get back to the office.

Haz used to be excellent, however recently its gone down hill. The service has become slow and the food quality is not as good. They need to go back to basics.

Our experience at Haz was pretty average the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t anything special. The service was ok but we were only one of about 5 tables full in the restaurant.

Went with a friend in a cold quiet spring evening and had a great time. Quiet and simple. It made a lot of difference for the night. The food was good as well and the service too. If you like Turkish food, you should definitely try Haz.

Had dinner at 112 houndsditch after a long time. Still as good as ever. The lamb shank and shish were to die for. Even bought a takeaway for my mother who was in hog heaven at the goodies we got for her. Keep up the great work

I have been going to haz for 12 years, with family, friends and business meeting. The food is amazing each and every time, the staff are great and friendly, the Maitre d’ make you feel like your part of his family, so kind and friendly always make me smile when entering the restaurant. They have the best mix grill I ever had. Just truly amazing place to eat.

We had a very nice dinner here on a first jet-lagged night in London. It is very well located near St Paul's. The drinks were excellent, including the mocktails. Food was very good and portions generous. We had a lovely mixed appetizer plate and lamb entrees. Best of all, it was quiet enough to have a good conversation. Prices were fair for the quality. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to others.

Waiters are very professionals and friendly. It's always a pleasure to come in this restaurant. Meditereen dishes with a lots of flavorS. What's else? I suggest you to order a cocktail before your meal. In brief, I recommend this place.

I went to the Haz with my family for evening dinner and found the food exeptional,I had the lamb and my wife & daughter had the chicken. The food was cooked to perfection, afterwards we had dessert and coffee. The service was very attentive, we felt relaxed and at ease with the experience.

Had a great experience of hosting a business dinner at this wonderful place. The location is great only 5 mins away from Liverpool Street station. The food is amazing, ordered a platter of mixed grill for a party of 3 and the starters were amazing. The staff is very friendly and takes great care of you and the party. Ahmet, the owner will personally greet you on the arrival and makes sure you are looked after. Will be back again and host more lunch or dinner at this gem of a place.

I have been coming to Haz restaurant cutler street last 10 years , since I work in the area , had many Christmas and business dinners , very delicious, good quality meat and especially starters called “meze” must try , good price very good service , you can’t go wrong !!

Consistent, Tasty and Welcoming..

Felt like pre prepared lunch dishes that came out very quick and were only warm. Taste was there but was affected by the temperature of serving.

I have been coming to this Haz now for around 10 to 15 years I have to say it must be one of the most consistent restaurants I have ever visited and I mean consistently excellent the food is always fantastic but the staff and the manager are without a doubt amongst the best and friendliest of any I have met . Was looking for a quiet and reasonably priced restaurant to take my girlfriend out. I heard about Haz from my friends, and decided to give it a try. Absolutely happy that I tried. I had iskender for myself and mixed grill for mu girlfriend, both were huge portions and delicious. Got an espresso martini and a pornstar martini and they were surprisingly good as well. Staff was very lovely and the owner offered me champagne. I would recommend this place to couples and families If you want privacy, a cozy environment and delicious food at a great price!

This restaurant never disappoints me. Over the past 15+ the service is wonderful, polite and non rushed. The food is authentic yet stylish, definitely a feast for the eyes and tummy. The food is very high quality at really reasonable prices.

Went there a couple of days ago with some friends, the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and we seated on a nice table by the window. The food was delicious i got the lamb shish and it was very juicy and tender as it should be. Overall had a great time and they even offered us a round of drink on the house in the end!! Definetly would recommend.

Me and my boyfriend been there a couple of times and we always get the best service. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food and the atmosphere is top 1 also. Im happy to spend my money there because i know the portions and the quality of the food is the best. Ahmed and Patricia does an amaizing job with the managing. I will defenetly choose the Haz next time as well.

Caminó en 27/01/2019 alrededor de 5. 30 hs. Sólo había una mesa en todo el restaurante. Un joven camarero estaba en la recepción, ningún saludo en absoluto levantó las cejas y nos miró. Entonces pedí una mesa para dos. El restaurante estaba vacío para que pudiéramos sentarnos en cualquier lugar. Pocos minutos después el camarero vino a tomar orden. No tenía un cuaderno de notas o tablas para escribirlo. Pedimos dos cócteles, un gran aperitivo para compartir con un extra de arranque de remolacha, dos platos principales y unas papas fritas. Después de 5 minutos regresó preguntando: ¿estás tomando un plato principal o solo como entrante? Señalé nuevamente lo que teníamos y él dijo "oh sí" y se fue otra vez, dejándonos sin saber cuánto de lo que pedimos llegaría. Cuando llegaron los platos principales, tardaron años en llamar la atención de alguien para pedir algo de sal y pimienta (y nuestras papas perdidas, como se esperaba). Todas estas son cosas muy simples que se suman para hacerte sentir muy decepcionado e inoportuno.

Entré unas cuantas veces con colegas para almorzar (y una vez después del trabajo). Siempre ha sido una experiencia agradable. Las porciones son de tamaños decentes y sabrosos y el servicio al cliente es bueno. Por lo general, voy por el plato mezze, ya que tienes que mordisquear algunos platos, muy sabroso. La comida siempre llega con bastante rapidez: lo que es más importante, entienden el comercio a la hora del almuerzo y son buenos para lidiar con los plazos de entrega rápidos. Seguiré volviendo una y otra vez.

Tarde brillante. El propietario nos recibió con un apretón de manos y nos llevó de inmediato a una mesa cuando el restaurante estaba muy ocupado (no reservado). La directora era tan amable y eficiente, nada era demasiado problemático, qué activo debía ser. El servicio fue excelente y la comida de primera clase.

Fui a la sucursal de la ciudad. . . Fue invitado para el almuerzo de negocios. . . Pero el lugar era ruidoso, sin embargo un ambiente agradable y alegre. . . Mucha luz natural. . . Cld estar en Estambul en una tarde de invierno

1月2日のランチで訪問しましたが、周りはビジネス街だからかサラリーマンであふれていました。レストランとカフェが併設されており利用したのはカフェの方です。持ち帰りも可能らしくテイクアウトも多く見かけました。

Excellent service, excellent food and a change from the typical one star michelin restaurants that litter the City. The helpings are also man size.

On a wet evening we popped in after a visit to the Tower of London. Didn’t know what to expect. Staff were very attentive. The food was delicious. Enjoyed the mixed grill. House Malbec was delicious. Good value.

Very near to St Paul's Cathedral, so a good location. Big, light room. Nice buzz. Attentive staff. Pretty good food. Company paid, so not sure if good value for money.
