Fantastic local pizza takeaway. Very quick and tasty. The stuffed crust is especially good, as is any pizza with olives on ( as long as you like that sort of thing). Menu attached to this review is up to date as of the start of August 2024. Not much parking out to the front but plenty of street parking close enough to see the front door. Super friendly staff.

Have never eaten quite so poorly. The kebab chicken was marinated with food dye and the donner meat was about half inch thick! We all felt unwell!

Ordered a hot and spicy pizza, and a burger with fries. Both were excellent and we only had to wait about 10 minutes. They also offer a decent range of soft drinks with your meal. And the service was excellent. A chance purchase at this establishment led to one of the nicest pizzas that I have had in many years. Decent waiting area in a nice neighborhood.

Good tasty pizza, price was acceptable as was the wait . We had three pizza’s all were enjoyed, so big we could have ordered less.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered chicken kebab and donner kebab with salad and chilli sauce. Coated in grease and garlic sauce. Waste of money.

Via phone i was told “no doner kebabs” twenty minutes later i picked up my cold double burger and chips on time, to see the doner meat spinning on the rotating spit with the heat on!!!! They only serve pizzas burgers kebabs and chips. The cook clearly cant be bothered to do kebabs today. Service is always bad and the cook seems to be in a tailspin of stress if he has more than 2 orders to deal with, often leaving the phone off the hook or arguing with the other staff. For a business that is clearly failing he needs to improve his sloppy standards

Excellent food. Veg burger, chicken kebab are my fav. Home made chilli sauce and garlic sauce. Highly recommended

Had better pizzas Service was slow I requested a drink he handed me my order then forgot my drink I was left stood waiting till other staff came back and ignored till then. Food lukewarm by the time I got to eat it.

Very average pizza, ordered hot n spicy, was quite plain and over cooked. Seemed a shame as there was only one man working and he was certainly rushing about to meet orders. Maybe we just went on the wrong day

We used the takeaway while on holiday in sept 2022 it was brilliant we used it frequently that week so automatically thought it would be the same the year after HUGE mistake chicken undercooked and how can you make a mistake on a chicken kebab by not adding a pitta bread ?? Chicken and salad in a tub but the chicken wasn’t cooked properly and the pizza one of us had was awful , just avoid only positive comment I can make !!

Says open Sunday till 10pm. Turned up at 8pm shut.

No kebabs after 9pm on a Saturday. Pizza was passable.

Had food from here two times in our visit whilst we were staying at a local holiday park. Pizza was awesome, really good. Burgers, garlic bread, chips all good. No complaints from any of the 4 of us. Prices reasonable and the lady on the till was nice.

Don't know if it was because we were the last ones in. but they're running out of Donna meet. So we ended up with a pizza which was edible but wouldn't write home about it if you know what I mean. Staff seemed friendly enough. One lady, 1 man cooking.

After a fruitless search for a meal after 8pm in Hawes, we were lucky enough to stumble this great pizza parlour. Fantastic pizzas, lovely people and great value. Well worth a visit!

Great pizza. Eaten on the spot, plenty of room. This is a no-nonsense takeaway restaurant, don't expect a romantic Italian restaurant. It's fast food.

Decent place. Slightly unusual vibe and set up inside, but the staff are so-so, sometimes nice sometimes a bit rude / seem to not really care- no greeting on entrance, often no thank yous etc. Pizza's taste good. Good parking outside and on the street.

After arriving in Hawes and not wanting pub food. Found this outlet just outside the main drag of the town. Had the chicken calzone, my wife had the vegatarian pizza and my son the chicken nuggets. The lady serving us was lovely and the food hot and tasty. So much so that next day after a long day hiking in the area came back and had the calzone again, with the lovely lady remembering us from the night before. Very welcoming. Food all cooked to order and delicious. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

My friend ate here on Sunday. Only just come out of hospital after the food poisoning after eating the donner kebab. Lucky to be alive!

Kebab gave me food poisoning. Unsure how they have 5 stars for food hygiene.

Just had hot and spicy pizza, tasted fantastic, plenty of topping non greasy. Chicken kebab , brilliant. Loved the salad with full jalapeños. They even gave me a mini takeout for my dog. Will definitely visit next time I'm in Hawes Thank-you

Ordered kebab deal, online said £14.50 was charged £18.00 as said price changed months ago. Cheesy garlic bread had no garlic at all. Be a while till I go back if at all

Walked from the campsite a 10 minute stroll and they are closed it said opens at 1600 this was 1800 hence 1 🌟

Thought we would have a treat, sadly this was not the case. The pizza was tasteless virtually no tomato purée couldn’t find, see or taste any chicken on mine and my partners was worse. No thank you or goodbye from the person serving us. He even rolled up a ciggy on the counter whilst waiting for our pizza’s should have left then

Nice kebab. Parking is ok on either side of the main road either entering or exiting hawes. Some confusion regarding the price as was asked for £6.90 for a regular kebab though the large wall hung menu clearly stated it was £5.90 regular or £6.90 large. It wasn't a problem and the young lady serving realised the mistake. I would visit again. Premises appeared clean and tidy

Visited in an emergency as nothing else was available. Decent pizza's etc.

Missed food in the pub on are way through the village and decided to eat here, food was quick and nice and there's some indoor seating aswell.

Can't give 0 star ordered 3 pizza's got 1, ignorant staff, not enough sauce, put phone down to serve other people, claiming didn't order anything when other even when asked if could get chicken pieces too but was only pizza only so clearly heard full order, then threatened with cctv to prove their incompetence

Sticky pizza to the box and not nice service man

We had x2 fried chicken with cheesy chips and a large Donna kebab. We found the meals mediocre for the price. The chips had very little cheese on and the "large" Donna was only a small portion. Not recommended unless you are desperate. 3/10

Worst pizza and kebab we've ever tasted. Oil from the kebab was everywhere, even soaked through the pizza box thats how bad it was. We only went because we read the reviews. They must have wrote the reviews themselves because it was shocking

Lovely pizza from hawes pizza . Great toppings really tasty.. really fast service.fully recommend giving it a visit ..

It says they open at 4pm. Arrived at 4.05pm and it was evident they weren't actually ready to serve. The chap at the counter was seemingly having an argument on the phone which was prolonged. We eventually got our kebabs about 4.30 and when we opened them had plenty of meat with which to fill the pitta thrown on top. Still, we did enjoy the food.

Got the chicken calzone, there were huge chunks of mild curried chicken in it, it was the most loaded calzone that I've ever had, amazing value.

One of the best pizzas I have ever had, and I have had a lot of pizzas over the years. Service was excellent and pizza was prepared very quickly. Excellent surroundings to sit and enjoy your food. I will definitely return.

We went there at our children’s request. The staff were friendly and we chatted while the food was cooked. We sat outside and the food came quite quickly. The pizza was great but could do with a little more flavouring. The fries and burgers were tasty. We will return. Thankyou

Was the Best pizza I've had in a long time wish I was local Unfortunately it Has recently changed owner's... £10 for a 10inch pizza with 4 toppings!

+ relatively cheap - unfair pricing (a customer arrived 10 minutes after us was offered half price on the exact same item…) - bad inventory management (arrived an hour before closing and most of the menu was unavailable) - quality was so-so (garlic bread tasted like garlic bread, but like my pizza, it was burnt and too dry)

Food was good but the service was a little rude. Cash only restaurant just be aware.

Friendly Staff and Delicious Food

After waiting 45 minutes and asked 3 times what my order was and seeing several customers who had ordered after me get served. Got back to find my wife's pizza was wrong. Will not use them again.

Unbelievable value here. The pizzas were stacked with toppings, with a lovely soft base and barely any crust. Try one if you're in the area.

Staying on the Hawes caravan club site so a short walk away. Food was well cooked and very tasty, highly recommended. We will definitely call again if staying at Hawes.

Cracking little place just next to the Rope Museum in the delight that is Hawes, North Yorkshire. The Pizza was fresh, crisp and one of the best I’ve had. Chips likewise. We also had some fried chicken which was superb. We will return !

Came to Hawes for a holiday and this place was highly reccomended by the guy that managed the lodges where we stayed. Food tasted fresh and was really quick, we going again on our last night and will definitely return. Such lovely guys too :-)

was in hawes on holiday and feeling a bit hungry so popped down to hawes pizzas for a bite to eat, the place was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming, my wife had a bbq & chicken pizza and i had burger & chips which were both cooked nicely, i can highly recommend on my visit and may pop back there while i am in hawes give it a try.

We were just passing through Hawes late one night and wanted something to eat. Really good food. Not greasy, everything just right and reasonably priced too.
