Always spot on chicken tikka is the best I've ever had

Saturday night, just ordered lamb bhuna, got given rubber, none of the lamb is edible, literally can’t even bite into it. Would not recommend.

I've literally just had to put the kebab in bin. Reheated kebab 😢 . I really don't know what to say - just lost £9

Best Indian takeaway in padiham/burnley food is exquisite, they really don’t skimp out with ingredients everything I’ve had is full flavour but the house special curries are on another level they have a good selection to suit everyone’s taste, portions are huge and delivery is usually swift. 👍🏻

This place never fails to tickle your taste buds whatever your taste.

Edit : 11/08/23. Partner ordered this evening for the first time since my original review below. King kebab portion was worthy of its name again! Fed two of us easily again.... Just as they always used to! Again, food is clean as can be. And I'm editing this review to give an extra star from the three stars I reviewed last time..... Keep your king kebab worthy of the name guy's! We'll be back again. ....Myself and my partner have been ordering from here for the past 18 months. And our go to has always been the King kebab. And whatever curries ect we order for the kids and ourselves the same order. Quality has always been consistent. And has been our regular home delivery takeaway from the word go.... Unfortunately as of late. Portion sizes have dropped ridiculously! A King kebab used to feed two of us easily. But now you get about half the amount of meat in total! I get prices have gone up (as has the price of the kebab). We spend around £50 per order and used to get 4 poppadoms, selection of sauces and onions. Now we get two and a hot and mild sauce.Throw in that the last three order's they've not put in the separate salads we've paid for in our orders. I called them tonight, what I hate doing. And we got offered a free portion of chips next order? The quality is still good. But portion sizes have shrunk so much. And missing things out of paid orders is not good. Would have been a 5* review previously. But I think a 3* is fair now.... Shame

1st time stop The best chicken & Donar kebab

Ordered testerday evening,08/05/2023 they had only just opened. I placed my order over the phone which was 2 starters 2 main, 1 rice and 1 naan and had it delivered. When it arrived there was not any rice but a bag of chips, I contacted hawali and told them that the rice was missing and they had put in a bag of chips that I did not order, I was told that I ordered a portion of chips and did not order rice which I clearly did not, no apology just blamed me, what was the point of 2 main meals, 1 Dansak and 1 Korma without the rice. The Dansak was very spicey hot without any pineapple and the Korma was bland no taste of coconut just pepper. It all went in the bin chips and all as we never eat chips, what a waste of £27, never again.

Came in late with friends, (930pm). They ordered with no issues. I ordered and was met with a completely different attitude, rude and borderline aggressive from 1 member of staff, this attitude continued while I waited and was committed on by my company. Visited many times before and never experienced this before. Will never return

We’ve ordered from here a few times & each time we say ‘That was the best curry we’ve had’ It’s amazing & if you fancy a dish but want it milder or hotter they will accommodate. Fantastic service!

Well, after seeing the great reviews I thought I must try this place. All very nice. A good 10-12 mins from my house mind. Got a few different starters, madras, and the much talked about king kebab. It's a monster. Well nice and great value at £9. All in all I'm fair chuffed. Thankyou Haweli!!

Always order king kebab, with chips and I can honestly say it's my favourite meal from there plus the curries are so nice place is clean staff are polite and always make you feel welcome

Attempted to go for take away this Evening as its got good reviews But was put off by the smackheads hanging round begging..aggressively Just moved to the area ..won't be bothering again...I'll stick to central Padiham takeout Thankyou for your advice on takeaway yes I willtry I parked on ightenhill st and there was a scruffy looking blonde girl on crutches begging.. I agree not outside your shop but that Is where most people park to go to the shop ....

Food is moderate/good by comparison to other takeaway equivalents and not badly priced ,but where have the pleasant ,engaging chatty staff gone My last visit will be my last time ,I felt unwelcome ,awkward and with no eye contact and a well versed unmeaningful "thank you" I left with my food into my car and home. A little more practice on customer service would go a very long way !

How can you justify a starter going from £3.50 to £5.50, main meal up from £6 to £8 and chippatis from 70p to £1.40 in one week?

Always order king kebab with chips. And its always spot on. Credit to them as even on the very busiest of nights they always get it right and I have never had a bad experience yet. Highly recommended. I can see why it's won awards. Its clean and cooked infront of you you don't get better than that for £10 and it would easily serve 4.

Curry Heaven, 1st visit nice ambience to the place, recommended by a fellow chef & work college...A very busy & popular place, was worth the visit. Noticed many tantalising mouth watering authentic Indian Dishes being prepared fresh from scratch. Enjoyed watching several chefs working their magic in the art of far eastern creativity at it's best! Explained what fine ingredients I desired in my order choices, selections of dishes & wasn't disappointed. Will call again to try some more of my favourite authentic Indian dish covers soon at Hawali. A true foody one stop pits stop.

Gorgeous, gorgeous takeaway! Earlier this afternoon went to a local takeaway for a bag of chips and it sent my stomach into a turmoil. My friend has ordered us a takeaway from here and it is lovely food! Hardly any vegetarian choices but on a day like today, it feels so good to eat this food. THANK YOU.

Food ok but orders get mixed up or they forget things

The best takeaway ever. We order far too many times a month for our bank balance, but it is genuinely so good. If they ever take murgh tamarina off the menu I shall cry as this is my fave; the hubby and kids though have tried pretty much everything and never been disappointed. Takeaway of the year 2018.. It definitely deserves this accolade, these Bangla boys sure know how to dish up some tasty treats. I had the large mixed kebab and the Mrs had a chicken tikka. Both excellent with a soft melt in your mouth tandoor nan bread. Yon mon who runs the show always has a natty line in t shirts and the lads cheffing cook up some real treats. If your a connesiur i can tell you when this repeated on me it still tasted good. You know what i mean? Try it now, try it today, you wont be disappointed :)

Always enjoy the food and the Thursday evening and Sunday evening special menu is excellent value.

Great indian takeaway. It took me too long to try it. Arrived quickly on a saturday night, good price, tasty food, not too greasy, some free popadoms and chutneys thrown in. Samosas were delivered in a paper bag so they were nice and crispy (seriously all the other indians in the area Iseem to think samosoas should be steamed in a metal tray so they arrive all soggy). Don't be decieved by the donna kebab, burgers and pizza on the menu - this is actually a serious indian takeaway.

We probably order at least 4 times a month !!! Other than the time the food is always good!!! Keep up the good work 😀

I have waited 2 hours for my food it came stale and cold and there was no apology not even money off and we spent £30. I have never been so disappointed. First time customer and I will certainly not be returning.
