Well… I thought it would be a good idea to come here for the first time with my family to indulge in the world of fine desserts. This couldn’t be far from the truth. To start - I was introduced to a hidden service charge (which was not added or advertised prior to ordering), secondly we were told there was no seating and having to wait 30 minutes for seating, we were led upstairs to an empty seating area? I have also added a picture of the hygiene and cleanliness of this franchise, the cutlery looks like it has been licked by a dog. The food arrived late, the service was appalling and rude and I was sat here for an hour before being told the food I ordered , simply was not available. I would not be coming here again and if you wish to go to a fine establishment with great service and desserts, this is simply not it. I would rather eat off the pavement outside, as this is at least cleaned with water once in a while. I would leave 0 stars but I was unable to- high prices, bad service.

Spent around £11 between two people for a biscoff milkshake and a hot chocolate and was just alright. Not worth the price.

I had visited Dolci earlier and it was an amazing experience. Loved the cheesecake. However, I visited on 28th February, wanting to eat a cheesecake to which the manager replied that I have to wait 2 hours to eat the cheesecake (some defrost issues). The thing that put me off was the manager was using a tissue to wipe his nose and went over to the staff to analyse the cheesecake. He proceeded to touch the cheesecake with the same hands he rubbed his nose with. When I questioned the act he immediately became defensive and asked me to leave. I believe that the heath and safety standards should be kept at a higher standard considering the franchise. Wearing GLOVES is a start. Please look into it.

Haute Dolci !The branch in Coventry is the worst.The Uber Eats delivery was a horrible experience for me. My order was incorrectly delivered, and the mango sorbet I requested turned out to be a milk shake, and I have ordered ferroro rocher cheesecake and they delivered Oreo cheesecake which was really disappointing.In addition, the manger is really rude. I will never eat desserts from this place again since I was so frustrated and dissatisfied with it!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We went in to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and they were kind enough to write 'Happy Birthday' in chocolate around the dish. Their chocolate cake dish suggestion was simply decadent and beautiful. The decor and coziness of the upstairs seating area was very romantic and beautiful experience. Overall an amazing place. 100% recommend for dessert lovers and those enjoying good atmosphere.

Come here regularly and tonight there must of been some sort of manager present who was creating an awful atmosphere being really rude and disrespectful to the staff who were working so hard. Never had anything bad from here but feel so sorry for the staff who have to work here being treated like slaves. Made me feel really uncomfortable these people were working till late on a Friday night and being shouted at ‘quicker’ etc and watching their every move. Was very uncomfortable to watch and I hope the staff are ok and I’m very grateful for their service today.

We were charged a £2.50 service charge EACH on our visit without being told! We were told items on the menu were unavailable when they weren’t and we were given an incorrect order which took lengthy time and poor cooperation with our server to rectify. Music was also too loud to be able to talk to each other. Would never recommend to anyone!

The cleanliness of the place and the addition of pleasant music contributed to a positive ambiance. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

Theyre extremely stingy with the proportions, either put the price lower or give a bit extra.

Ordered 2 French toast recieved undercooked pancakes with 2 halved strawberries and they didn’t answer any of my calls after to even try and rectify my order.

My experience at Dolci left much to be desired. I visited on Friday afternoon (29/12/23), and the staff's competency was a bit questionable. One member seemed quite knowledgeable, but the other was clearly struggling. When we asked to check the bill due to our confusion, we discovered a sneaky service charge that hadn't been mentioned by the staff or on the menu. Moreover, there were some items missing from the menu, leading to a back-and-forth discussion with the staff and another couple to figure out what was available. While I understand that such mix-ups can happen, they did contribute to a growing sense of frustration. The final bill came to £34.63 for two people, covering two cookie dough's (one with extra sauce) and two milkshakes. Honestly, that seemed a bit steep to me. As we went upstairs, we found the area initially pitch black, which didn't contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. The speed of the food service was a bit inconsistent. Three of us got our orders reasonably quick (10-15 mins), but one person had to wait an additional 15 minutes, making us wonder if their order had been overlooked. The additional sauce that was paid for was missing and had to be asked for, we also received a bottled drink with no means of removing the cap. Despite these issues, the food itself looked and tasted good, though I questioned whether it justified the £34 expense. The restaurant, while conceptually attractive, showed signs of wear and tear like torn seats and cracked tiles. A refurbishment could certainly enhance its visual appeal, putting it on par with places like Heavenly Desserts. To add to the disappointment, upon leaving, we discovered that the advertised Christmas and New Year dessert promotion (25% discount) hadn't been applied to our bill. This, coupled with the poor service and perceived expense, solidified my negative opinion, resulting in the two-star rating. I would instead advise anyone looking for a dessert restaurant to consider walking a little further to Heavenly Desserts where things are a bit more organised and transparent.

Love their waffle but make sure don't go their if someone taking blood pressure pill or diabetes because their toilet is never in operation poor magament .

The best service ever I experience in coventry and i would like to mention Mr Vinay serve the food very well and treat us in a very humble and polite way and the way he serve with smiling face is fantastic

Brought the sweet fix (brownies dish) unfortunately could not eat it all had to leave it, the brownies were very very dry inside (not moist) were hard to eat even with the ice cream. Not freshly made might be why quite dry, husband had the French toast which was good.

I went there to have dessert. Me and my partner ordered waffle and one milk cake which was good. But we went down to pay and the manager there was very very rude to us and didn’t even say thank you when we were leaving. I would’nt recommend this place at all as they don’t care about their customers at all. Very bad behaviour of the manager. Felt really bad. Very rude manager.

I was there on Wednesday. ordered pancakes and creps. The pancakes were delicious. But the price of the crepes was not adequate to the appearance, which did not even look like the online menu and cost about £10… The staff first brought pancakes, and after about 10 minutes my partner got crepes. We also ordered coffee which was delivered at the very end, after a long time after eating the meal. Unfortunately, the staff did not know what to do, the coffee should have been delivered first, and meals for two people should not have been separated in time. There were no other customers we were alone in this restaurant. The fee for this poor service was added to the bill without informing us.

Today, I purchased a strawberry shortcake sundae, but all I could discern was the dominant flavors of soft serve and frozen strawberries, with only a hint of shortbread that felt rather plain, akin to corn flakes. The presentation didn't align with the advertised pictures, leaving me thoroughly disappointed.

Came for dessert on the evening, seating upstairs was empty. Ordered the pancakes with pistachio which was good, but would have liked more of the pistachio sauce on it. Other half ordered an apple crumble, the custard was cold. Denied any tap water! Service charge was added to the bill without us being told it would. One plus side - they do student and Blue Light Card discount

Apple pie was passable. Custard was cold. Tap water not given. Was alone upstairs once order was taken, no further service offered without me going down myself. Service charge added on and not told about it, just asked to pay the amount. Only saw it on the receipt after.

Excellently location , lovely view , nice doors and multiple staff members at reception who are always waiting for you with a big smile on their faces , as you enter , they’ll direct you to the sitting areas which can either be ground floor or the upstairs dine-in space . As you approach the dine-in area you’ll see a QR code on each table for the menu and a beautiful ornament . You can either scaN QR code or wait for staff members to bring you the menu , multiple options of nice and yummy cuisines waiting for you in the menu , you can choose according to your taste , sit there enjoy well and don’t forget to bring your friends here . Food quality is excellent and apparently their rating is five stars as well . Lastly it’s not even too expensive .

Spent 20£ on this and was very disappointed I ordered a tropical sensation and a vanilla milk cake as you can see in the picture that’s not a tropical sensation as I’ve looked at other reviews and seen what it should have looked like. The lady on the phone was unclear and blamed the Deliveroo menu which is funny because I clearly saw another review with and actual tropical sensation which they also messed up. The vanilla milk cake wasn’t even fresh it was frozen I took a bite and spat it back out absolutely appalling behaviour from this franchise this level of food hygiene can put someone is hospital

They are the worse people Ever, always standing around and talking, don't serve customers, i went with group of 8 literally 20min sat there and can see all workers wandering around, none greeted us and asked if we want to order so we walked out they didn't even ask us to stop. Also many people even my self call them to order for collection they never answer and i went in and called to see if the phone rings omg front of me it was ringing and ringing and the staff did not even acknowledge. The owner really needs to hire professional people and not just of the st or school leaver as there just want to make any one work but it thats impacting your reputation you really need to think. Disgusted

My first and last time here. Visited last night in a group of 5. The waitress was unclear with the dessert with a surprisingly unhelpful attitude. Only 1 dessert arrived in 15 mins and we waited for more than half hour for the rest! Sorbet was semi-melted and milkshake was watery, obviously because the lady forgot to take them over until we reminded her again! After all we got the wrong item. We ordered summer sensation with mango, raspberries, and lemon sorbet, but the one we got was raspberries sorbet. Instead of asking to change it and wait for another half hour, we decided to pass it and eat with anger. Always wonder why Heavenly dessert was way more popular than Dolci and it is all clear now! Suggestions to the owner: - train your staffs! Particularly product knowledge and attitude - pls have your food deliver on time, 30 minutes wait wasn’t tolerable - stop the fake reviews on google — we found out most 5-star-review share a similar group of last name with very short review and without pictures!

They took like 40 minutes to bring our order. The waiter didn't gave us any answer on why they were taking so long and she was avoiding us. When the order arrived, the ice creams were melted and they didn't even bring the right flavours. They refused to give us tap water. The toilet was gross. Avoid this place. Go to Heavenly Desserts instead.

Shocking experience... waiting over 1 hour for food and received some incorrect items, missing items and hard food. we had to collect our own food and carry it to the table upstairs and then they charge you a 10% service charge. When you complain you get told to be more patient.... please avoid
