Hatay in Reigate and Banstead

We went to Hatay in Reigate with my cousins family and mine. The food was stunning - everyone said it was one of the best meals they'd eaten. Flavours were brilliant and made it a really memorable meal. Highly recommended!

Our third visit to Hatay and delicious every time. A wonderful way to celebrate Christmas Eve, great food and amazing service. It’s great to have a new restaurant in Reigate that isn’t a global chain. Authentic Turkish food well prepared and served by the friendliest staff you could ask for. Make a new year’s resolution to eat here. Thank you for a lovely evening

Visited with family for special occasion, food was OK and very expensive for a kebab and other bits if you're looking for a peaceful evening then I wouldn't recommend

This is the second visit to Hatay. A solid Turkish experience if you fancy a decent Adana Kebab. Asked for some chilli sauce to accompany the £17.50 dish and was promptly charged 50p for the privilege. Come on Hatay, any decent Turkish restaurant would be only too happy to provide sauces to enjoy a meal with.

Went there on a Saturday night , service was ok, we were left quite a while until someone noticed us and get us seated . Food is generous however lack of flavours and quite expensive.

Excellent addition to the rather dull Reigate restaurant scene. Nice decor, good vibe and service and very good food. Nothing earth shatteringly original on the menu but everything we had was extremely well cooked and presented. Good portions and actually good value. Would definitely recommend.

Im 50 years old and have eaten in the best restaurants in the world and with out doubt i have just had the best starter, main and desert in my life !

We tried hatay based on the brilliant reviews on Love Reigate. We had three courses, the menu had quite a wide variety of starters and deserts. For mains there wasn’t as much choice, but certainly plenty - 2 chicken dishes, multiple lamb dishes, couple of fish dishes and a duck dish. The food was really really lovely and absolutely faultless. We had king prawns to start - these were large and juicy and so tender. This was followed by the chicken kebab, again really tasty and super moist. Topped this all off with a light chocolate mousse sponge cake which was so light and perfectly balanced. The presentation of the food was modern and you could see that real care had been taken over the making and plating of it. The service was good and staff were attentive, warm and friendly. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant and it was lovely to see it busy on a Wednesday evening! Three courses and 2 drinks was £42pp and we felt for the quality of the food this was good value. We look forward to returning soon!
