Had a lovely lunch for Mother's day in the new refurbished Harvester, which has a new modern look. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Portion size is a little smaller these days but you have plenty of salad and rolls to make up for it and yummy desserts.

Free parking on premises. A good variety of breakfast and service is good. Coffee is goid you have to ask fir alternative milk if you need it.

We booked a table for eight on Wednesday for a birthday party. We were immediately welcomed and also sat on the table. The food was lovely and the overall experience was fantastic! Viraj mentioned about the refurbishment about the restaurant, and we’re looking forward to visiting next time.

Food was great and the service from Debbie was brilliant. She was funny and easy to talk to as well as being helpful. I had the chicken flatbread and Sunday best.

Went for a family get together on Sunday lunch. Excellent service was provided from friendly staff. The overall experience was great, considering it looked so busy.

Visited with a Groupon voucher which gave excellent value for money for 3 courses from a restricted menu but which still gave a good number of choices. Each course was well prepared and tasty and a very good size. Once again the salad bar was well filled, tidy, and fresh. The building and interior is still looking rather tired but apparently it is due to be refurbished in February. Very good lunch with excellent service provided by Viraj.

Even though it was mental busy. Viraj and Barry made the meal entertaining. Foob was lovely too. Also catered to my dad who is gluten free.

First time ever going out for Christmas lunch. Wanted to give my mum a rest after her cooking it for us for the last fifty years. She was dead against it but sat at the table yesterday and said “ can we come again next year !! “ The service was amazing . The food was spot on and the timings for all three courses was perfect. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the manager and his staff were rushed off there feet, but somehow didn’t miss a beat . 100 % we will be back next year!!!!

Getting told to F off off by a waitress in front of children is totally unacceptable What’s worse is she stormed off out of the building But was later allowed to return Service was shocking 2nd waitress stormed of aswell after a simple question about the order I have never experienced this sort of service before Even other guests were in shock by the behaviour of your staff Will never visit this place again Some serious training needs to be implemented

Worst Harvester ever noticed a meal waiting to be served whilst 5 minutes into our salad 20 mins later this food was ours I complained ant the waitress asked for fresh only to come back simply appeared reheated and chips refried. We left our food and paid and left . Also the George needs a makeover the leather seating was split not at all hygienic the whole place is very tired a let down for Miller and Butler .

The festive meal was great, was served by Nate, who had a great personality he made our time at Harvester fun. Thanks Nate!

Great Atmosphere and good food. Good place to park and friendly staff.If you like good portions and good variety of food this is the place to go. It caters for everybody and even has vegetarian and vegan options.

Very disappointed with the service! Went there with the family for late lunch, after school for our 9yr old birthday (who wanted to go to harvester) and there were so many foods not available from the menu (E.g. No roast chicken, No steak, Salad bar - No cucumber at all , No tomato at all, No bread!!!!, We were so disappointed especially the children. Mayonnaise and other sauce bottle were virtually empty - Further, the toilets were out of order (both upstairs and downstairs) - and despite highlighting this, we were told everything was fine. What an appalling experience. When asked for the bill, we were given the bill from the next table - waiter realised of his mistake - showed no remorse + their own voucher from app had to be inputted 2/3 times before it worked What a shamble!! Their standard has gone down in all aspect. Very bitter experience

I'm not a fan of chains of Harvester type, so if I go there it's usually down to convenience - eg staying at a nearby hotel. This was the case. This Harvester is a good one. Nice food, good choice of beers etc and friendly helpful staff. No Michelin stars here but steady away family food and reasonable prices.

Attentive service, wide selection of food and drink. Portions were large and food was delicious, and delivered in good time.

A quickly arranged cheap meal out with the missus to celebrate a promotion at work. We fancied a Toby carvery but there were no tables available locally so I thought we would try a Harvester as Santander are offering 10% cashback at the moment. I could not really fault it to be honest. Very large and spacious venue, extremely friendly and polite staff (our server was an Asian guy called Maloj), and the food was really good, cooked perfectly and very good value. Nice desserts too. If I could put a 0 I would. Food cold. Christmas dirty burger was dry and no way was it monteray jack cheese. Smidgeon of cranberry sauce. Cold unseasoned chips . Christmas Dinner cold and dry. Tiny poncy pots of gravy. Complained as did many other tables. We were sat next to the pass and it was still cold. Manager couldn't care less. Desserts were also awful. Profiteroles frozen. Apple and blackberry crumble cold, minimal and with another poncy pot of custard. The waitress seemes embarrassed. Draughty table as kitchen kept opening the door to cool themselves down. Seems they were the only hot items because the food certainly wasn't. The salad bar had a queue a mile long so didn't bother. Absolute sxxt

My family and I visit the Harvester almost every week, we always receive a warm welcome from the staff and enjoy the food and drinks on offer. The new menu has an improved choice of dishes, especially the skewers, steak sandwich and waffles. The staff are always accommodating with where we want to be seated, and friendly and chatty especially Jackie and our waiter (sorry I do not know his name) who are a credit to the company. We always look forward to our weekly visit.

Went for breakfast today and very disappointed. It wasn’t the a great experience. The poor guy was left on his own having never done a breakfast shift before. The food was wrong and paid for unlimited drinks but only had 1 as the wait was too long. Like I said, it wasn’t the waiters fault but a case of poor management.
