Very hot food and.it was busy and still got a seat didn't book online staff very friendly helpful. The Yorkshire pudding was flat and had be there for a while and very grassy

we had a lovely experience having food, Jodie and Joe were lovely great servers.

Waitress Jodie was full of smiles, super friendly and made the whole dining experience very pleasant. She took note on it being my birthday and put a candle in my desert and sang Happy birthday without being asked which was a lovely touch. Food was lovely, prices reasonable and made even better with a 30% off voucher.

Had the signature rotisserie chicken with the gravy and sage and onion chips and it was delicious. All staff were very polite and happy and welcoming. Everything seemed very clean and tidy. Our server Janine was very attentive and made our visit a very pleasant experience. She made sure we had everything we needed and that everything was up to standard throughout visit. Best harvester in the area in my opinion. Will definitely return again.

Party of 5. Arrived at 16:30 but weren't served mains til 17:45, we were told it took ages because one of our party ordered a starter (which was served at 16:50) One main was served with a rock hard jacket potato but by the time it arrived the kids were getting bored and we couldn't be bothered to complain, just wanted to eat up and get out.

We were shown to our table and served by a very nice waitress. Whilst my wife was satisfied with her meal, I have to say that mine was disappointing. I ordered the “famous Harvester full rack of ribs”. Rack of ribs is a very good description as that’s almost exactly what I got - a rack of ribs with very little meat. Also, it was only after I’d finished eating that it dawned on me that the meal should have included “rainbow slaw” but unfortunately didn’t. This isn’t the first time that an item has been omitted from our meals at The Old Mill ! I can only assume that our original server had gone off shift by the time we had finished eating as another very nice, polite young waitress came to ask if we wanted dessert, which we declined. I told her about the “meatless” ribs and lack of coleslaw and she went to tell someone, I assume in the kitchen. When she returned she told us that whoever she had spoken to agreed with my comment but that “we have to serve what the suppliers send”. I would recommend changing suppliers ! She was very apologetic. I also asked about the missing coleslaw and she kindly offered a free dessert as compensation. I decided not to accept as we had already decided not to have dessert anyway. Both of our servers were very nice and the issue is obviously not down to them. However I think the manager needs to get a grip and ensure that the meals are of an acceptable quality.
