Liz was very prompt at seating us for breakfast and serving. She made sure we had everything we needed. All staff were friendly especially with the little one.

Served by jodie and nothing was 2 much trouble, food and service was excellent

So i’m here visiting family, and we decided to have my nan’s birthday dinner here since it’s wheelchair assessable. Service was good but the food was cold for how long we waited, and i didn’t get a lot of food for what i ordered. Salad bar was bare and unappetizing so i just ate bread. Also I think the sauces might need a restock, the naga chilli hot sauce was very gross & i think expired. Kinda bummed cuz this was THE place when i still lived here. I am glad the Lemon Blizzard is back.

This place is not at all clean, had to ask the bar maid 3 times to clean the table and the chairs; the other tables around us was also left dirty and no one bothered to clean it for the two hours we’ve spend here; to top it up the food served was rubbish. Ordered a few items and it took over an hour and 30 mins to get served. And once served the dirty buyer was no where close to what it said on the menu. Attaching pictures. The manager only turned around and said ‘I am sorry we’d take 20 more mins to make fresh food’ Absolutely rubbish and applauded by the service we’ve received today. And disgusted by the food.

Giving 1 star as had to give something but this place does not deserve any at all. Went there Friday had chicken that was not cooked and have been ill for 3 days now. When I told the staff they did refund but told the chicken had been probed so must be cooked. It was definitely not!!!!

Stayed in the travelodge next door and had some drinks and shared a meal (bbq ribs which were just okay). Pleasantly suprised with the salad bar. Left the restaurant to hear a member of staff vomiting in the car park. Captive audience as it's quite remote. Bar area is dog friendly but small.

Such a lovely experience! The food was great and Janine was very friendly and looked after us. I will definitely be back again soon!

Dined in whilst staying at Travelodge next door. It was very busy but we managed to get a table for 2 despite this. Janine was our waitress for the evening. We were seated and drinks order taken very quickly. We did have to wait a while for our meal but they were very busy and have to say food was delicious. Janine apologised for delay, and was attentive throughout our meal. Lovely friendly staff, couldn’t have asked for better service.

Booked for festive menu was told by waitress that festive menu wasn’t available & would have to order from normal menu. With no email to let me know that festive menu wasn’t available, wasn’t at all good enough especially since I booked it for a surprise Christmas meal & festive menu was told…So paid £90 for a meal that we didn’t really want.Which was so disappointing

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Harvester and I can't say enough good things about it! The food was absolutely delicious, from the perfectly cooked gammon to the crispy fries. But what really made my experience special was the outstanding service I received from Janine. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great meal. I highly recommend this Harvester to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable dining experience with top-notch service. We've been to many harvesters, but we'll go out of our way to come to this one.

Janine made me forget that the smoke almost killed me off. Seriously, one of your chefs needs to figure out the grill/time ratio because at one point the smoke was so bad I was conceived snoop dogg was out back. But god bless Janine. Give her a raise and figure out the smoke situation.

Came to this particular Harvester for a long awaited date night. Our server was polite and helpful. The reason for the 2 stars is that first of all, the salad bar was practically bare and was only replenished an hour after we arrived, which by this point we had already had our main and finished it. Both me and my partner had to change our chosen meals due to not having certain parts of the meal. Food was okay but not impressive considering the price. When it came do desert, I ordered the “Sundae best” waffle with hard chocolate sauce. The first time it came out as a sundae not a waffle, and when I sent it back, it came out with the wrong sauce so had to send it back again, in which it came back correct but looked a complete mess. 3rd time lucky I suppose. An all round disappointing experience considering we have never had an issue there. Sadly I don’t think we will be returning.

First impression : very busy establishment, even so there was enough room for one. Food: All the meats were grilled to perfection and tasty, unlimited side salad at no extra cost. Drinks: local brewery with a good range of alcoholic beverages all at very reasonable prices. If I ever visit the area again, I would certainly would return.

Restaurant fan extractor in the kitchen wasn't working correctly so the dining area and bar was smoked out badly. Demi our server was amazing sat us down with menus and asked if we would like drinks. Shortly after took our food order. Drinks and food arrived in a timely manner even though it was quite busy. Warm welcoming environment I'd definitely return with the family. Thank you Demi ( mate) and the team. Guests take time to learn the staffs name they work so hard.

Really shocked How rundown the restaurant has gone, And the food is no better.Only One polite stuff ,the rest was not Polite at all the salad bar was not Replenished my wife’s mail wasn’t good oil inside her Jack potato They changed it for rice That was overdone while waiting for that the chicken was like a piece of leather she didn’t eat it ,we paid the full bill we will not be returning there.

My husband has been visiting this site for over 50 years and obviously has noticed many changes in that time. His earliest memories of the place are of an old fashioned pub with a warm welcome to all. His sister had her wedding reception there. We had our first date here and have been back many times since. We also spent our wedding night here. Every time our visit has been happy and very pleasant. This time was not the case. The chips were frozen not hand made as previously. The sticky toffee pudding was rock hard: we could hit it with a spoon and make no effect on it. The whole character was very unappealing: shabby, worn and grubby. There were no condiments on the table: I found a few sachets near the till. The disabled toilets were locked and we did not have a key. The men's toilet floor was slippery and your feet kept sliding apart. There was only just space to get in the cubicle and shut the door. Staff told us they are having a refurb in July, a ridiculous time given the holiday season. No doubt that will improve the decor but I don’t know if it will improve the food. The chef seems to have lost any passion for the work. I don't know if we will return to this restaurant which is a shame. My husband has supported the site a long time and was very disappointed

I ordered for delivery at 5.10. Harvester repeatedly changed my delivery time making it later and later. I wasnt able to cancel or they'd keep my money even though they hadn't started preparing food. Then when it arrived it was cold.

Busy when we got there, but very efficient staff, who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Southern Burger and the pork belly were really good.

Food was nice and even though IV gave 3 stars for service the staff were great but took their time to help you apart from that everything was really good.

Going to keep it short but the manager is an absolute 🔔end the service is slow your sat waiting round for an hour before service arrives an don’t get me started on the food let’s just say I wouldn’t feed it to the dog will be avoiding all harvesters for the rest of my life revolting an well overpriced

I'd say it's what you expect from a restaurant that costs £20 per head except the service here is typically much better than expected from the waiting staff

Made very welcome. This is a great place. We visit whenever we are in the area despite a 250 mile journey.

Website shows they are open for breakfast Friday - Sunday from 9am. Walked there only to find it locked up with staff sat inside trying not to make eye contact, wouldn't acknowledge us at all. So rude. Will not be back.... such a shame as I've had to edit my previous 5* review to this.

didn't have the 2 dips that was meant to come with our chicken chips which is main reason I ordered it. and I didn't get a box full I had less than half a box of chicken shoved in with my main meal so wasn't to happy with that

We booked on the online but when we arrived they had no record of the booking and couldn't seat us for over an hour so we went elsewhere

Booked table online for my birthday. Got there only to be told the kitchen was closing early. That wasn't the worst of it. The woman behind the bar is extremely rude and butted into a conversation i was having with my friend. We only chose harvester because they sent a voucher. My suggestion to staff at this site, don't involve yourself in a conversation you wasn't involved in. You had egg all over your face for that rude and insolent interruption. Will never come here again, and this is one of the better harvesters!

Had a really nice meal here yesterday. There was a really nice atmosphere. Service from Lewis was great. Will be visiting again.

the food didn't seem fresh as the bread and onion rings were dried out. some of the food were missing some of the add on bits e.g. toppings and order was missing 3 items!

Kate was an absolute treasure. Speedy, friendly, helpful. Loved the cheddar and jalapeno donuts. Keep the donuts and definitely keep Kate!!

Awful !! Food cold but not down to delivery driver ! The kids meal was a mess and such a tiny portion ! Not worth £8 at all. Go sit in don’t order

The food is fine, exactly what you expect in any Harcester. But we've been twice now and both times the wait for the food to arrive was over an hour with no communication. Part of the meal was missing and when we requested it and something else such a a knife or sauce it just never arrived.

Fab lunch out with my youngest boy after heavy weekend of football Staff were great and attentive couldn’t of asked for more Food was great my child cleaned up all his plates so need I say more 👍👌😊 The location was also an added bonus lovely surroundings

Can't give it any stars,As booked a table for breakfast for my Dad and I, On arrival I received a text saying see host, Unfortunately there was a notice saying closed for staff training, Some communication would have helped as I had Our morning planned out, Very disappointed

Absolutely shocking experience. Food was cold when it finally came out. No salad bowls, no butter for the rolls. The service was awful. So disappointed and won't be returning to this particular Harvester.

We visited on the 10/1/2022 . We had a lovely meal , Chicken was cooked perfectly , piping hot food. “Lewis” who looked after us during our visit was amazing , friendly and professional and a great experience thanks to his time and attention. 5 star evening .

Visited on Wednesday 11th of September and had a great meal which was served really quick while being really busy in the afternoon, both steaks cooked to perfection and our waitress was really friendly and polite, this was much better than our last visit around a month ago where the food was below par from what we expect at harvester, I'm glad it was a one off and hopefully they now keep it up. It was a much better experience this time.

Food was nice, service was excellent. The layout and decor could do with a refresh. As with all Harvester's the corn on the cob was boiled to death

Great atmosphere, brilliant service, fab food

Nothing against the young staff members here (3 service stars are for them) who genuinely seemed to be cracking on with their jobs and are helpful when asked. But for the life of me, why the woman with blonde hair on the front desk told me at 17:45 that I couldn't sit and eat (in a virtually empty bar area) any food until after 20:00pm is bewildering! I'd eaten (with maybe 7 or 8 other people in the same area) in the bar the day before without any issues, I even asked if I could sit there again and I'd be in and out, but no. Now I've had to call an uber eats and spend the best part of £30 to eat (I'm currently working away here). Like I said nothing against the other staff but I'll be sure to avoid this place in future!!

Ordered food, 40 minutes later still waiting watched the food sit on counter ready to be brought to table for 10 minutes. Shocking.

£8 chicken Tuesday had the chicken skewer wasn't very chargrilled and my peppers looked a bit sad but overall was tasty with the hot honey dressing

My son and I popped in on the off chance as we were nearby. Table was available and we were seen quickly by Liz, who was friendly and attentive throughout. A but put off with the sign saying the unlimited machine had blown up, but Liz informed us that was yesterdays issue! We dined off the daily special menu (2 courses for £13) and I had a salad bowl with the glorious Red Devil sauce! Nice food, good service and lovely setting.

The waitress Liz was great and did her best to compensate the menu! 50% of the menu was sold out! Everything we chose was’nt available and we had to choose something else. A family reunion after two years, I have to say we were very disappointed! Also the salad bar was 50% left. Thanks Liz for doing your best💪💪 A lovely place to eat in the country if they have what’s on the menu? Best to call before and ask to avoid disappointment. Especially if it’s a special occasion. Maybe a problem with management!
