My family and I came to celebrate a special birthday today and we were delighted to find out that the always lovely Cathy would be looking after us. Cathy is so warm and welcoming and a credit to Harvester. We enjoyed our food and the relaxed atmosphere today. A big, fat, Greek thank you! xx

Food was delicious but the highlight of our evening was Marnie our server, she was polite, kind and couldn’t be more attentive, what a diamond. double beef burger 8/10, ribeye steak 10/10 and the ultimate mixed grill 8/10. See you again soon!!

We were a group of 7 that went to the Harvester yesterday, 6 standard menu and 1 gluten free vegetarian which was stated when we booked. We had been once before and had a 5 star experience and the waitress at that time was very knowledgeable about the menu. This time we were told nothing really for the gluten free vegetarian only sweet potato chips, no apology. The food for the other 6 people was good but the waitress seemed to want us to finish and gave us the bill to pay, I think she was going off duty. The experience was not good

We had a fantastic meal today! Food was great, especially the BBQ chicken wings. All staff were very friendly with Cathy being brilliant. I would absolutely recommend this Harvester.

A typical Harvester with the normal menu however, our visit was overshadowed by the waitress very loudly complaining about one of her colleagues to what seemed to be her manager. This situation should have been handled more professionally without the conversation being overheard by all the customers in the restaurant.

We had a lovely meal here and it was delicious! Our server Megan was absolutely lovely, she was very nice and gave us the best service!

John Luke was working the bar alone and nobody had to wait to be served. He also kept all tables and bar area immaculate. John Luke was attentive, polite but not OTT. The perfect balance. A very enjoyable Wednesday after school and work hour with my son. Thank you

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic dining experience at Harvester Beulah Hill! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what truly made our evening special was our server, Megan. She was incredibly cheerful, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed with a genuine smile. Her friendly and upbeat attitude added to the overall enjoyment of our meal, and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious, but Megan’s excellent service was the highlight of the night! Thank you, Megan, for making our visit so enjoyable – we’ll definitely be back!

went in to eat Wednesday and was greeted and served by Maria A. i had a great time there. the steak i ordered was cooked to my exact likings. salad bar was fully stocked and my overall experience was entirely pleasant.

From the moment we walked in amazing. Cathy was wonderful, warm and friendly. Harrison took us to our seats with professional warmth and friendliness. Fresh food that was warm and delicious. The best Harvester we have ever been to and the only one we will go to now. Thank you to the team.

Every time we come here it’s amazing. Whenever we get served by Cathy, we have the best time. She’s so welcoming, fun and bubbly. Her service is definitely one of the reasons we come back. My son’s birthday today and she made it so special. Highly recommend!

Nice food for dinner and customer service topnotch!

ordered double sweet potato fries, received normal fries. When I phoned restaurant, they had no way of correcting their mistake, so if you order from here you have to accept what is delivered. To summarise if you don't want any mistakes, go to restaurant and collect as mistakes can be corrected.

It was a pleasant visit with good food. Very filling. My wife had chicken rotisserie, and I had a burger.

A nice child friendly restaurant, lovely staff and a good selection of food. Free parking is available also and a bar inside too. Very reasonable prices for food

Service is always amazing with Cathy! Excellent customer service even when it’s busy and it’s only maybe her or just one other on the floor. You are lucky to have her and other staff members at other restaurants could learn from her. Cathy always does everything with a smile on her face.

The restaurant's dishes were superbly crafted, with every bite offering exceptional freshness. The welcoming staff and cozy atmosphere made it an unforgettable dining experience.

We recently visited and had a mixed experience. While the staff were friendly enough, there were several issues that detracted from our visit. First, the salad bar was completely empty, and the refillable drink machine only had Pepsi available. I did mention this to a staff member at the time, but nothing was done to address it. I ordered the waffles with chicken and bacon, which unfortunately fell short. The plate was scorching hot, suggesting everything had been done in the microwave. The waffles were rock solid, while the chicken and bacon were cold. On the other hand, my partner enjoyed her BBQ ribs, so there are clearly some menu items that are better executed. Additionally, one of the staff members misplaced her phone and causing a bit of a scene. Overall, we might come back for the ribs my partner enjoyed, but I’ll definitely stay clear of the waffles next time. Hopefully, some of these issues can be addressed to improve the overall experience.

Unfortunately the food for me has dropped massively in quality and they've increased there prices, it used to be so good, and everytime I've gone there in the last few years, I keep hoping that it would get better, but now I fed up of being let down and just have to accept that this is there quality now.

I had to wait 15mins for a 4pm appointment. I wanted to have my salad (before) I ordered my starters & main course (which I usually do) but the person who served me was not happy to give me a bowl. She then went on to tell me I need to order a meal in order to have a salad. I've visited Harvesters on numerous occasions & already knew that. It might be better if the staff member had asked me if I'd been there before and aware of how the system works?

The restaurant was very busy. Food was served quickly. Ladies toilets were disgusting. Waitress Marie is a complete diamond.

The salad and vegan sundae were pleasant enough. The mushroom tart would have been much improved if it had some kind of gravy (vegan) . The broccoli was raw, the carrots tasteless and there were far too many potatoes. Very much quantity over quality overall. As there was only one person taking orders we had to wait sometime to place our main course. We had barely started out salads when the main course was plonked down in front of us. Overall not a very enjoyable experience.

I took my Tenants out for our Christmas lunch today. There were 24 of us. Cathy was excellent. Her attitude towards us in what became a busy period was brilliant. She treated us well and thanked me for being so organised. Cathy has a great mindset and attitude and works very well under pressure. even when some people have her a hard time she rose above it and carried on. Was very impressed and she is always like this when we go there.

We went as part of a group of 25 for a 90th birthday celebration. The service we received from Kathy (Cathy?) was nothing short of outstanding. From taking the orders efficiently, everyone getting their orders with no errors, to ensuring everyone had drinks, nothing was too much trouble and she somehow managed to do this with a smile on her face. No mean feat when looking after that many guests.

Haven't visited for well over a year or so, as the whole experience was fairly poor. However today we decided to give it another go, and found the place to be nothing other than brilliant. From start to finish the whole visit was outstanding. The service was impeccable, our server Harrison was fantastic. The food arrived super quick and was piping hot. A delicious meal in a nicely refurbished place. Can't wait to return, will be back soon for sure!

A huge thank you to all the staff at Beulah Hill harvester, Thornton Heath Slimming World had both of our Christmas lunch out here today and it was fabulous. Food on the festive menu was delicious service for large numbers was incredible. A big shout out to the fabulous Kathy would definitely recommend for a great meal really great value as well

I was there with 31 other people today and Cathy our waitress was really professional and friendly. I have been there on more than one occasion and Cathy is always there to help with everyone's needs

I like this Harvester more than others locally. Food was filling and good value for money depending on what you decide to have. I find it filling and I I only have a small bowl if I choose to have food from the salad bar. The server was able to joke with us and had a good level of attention despite being fairly busy with other diners. Pictured: winter vanilla latte, apple pie with custard, corn meal bites, fries, Xmas dinner and half a rack of ribs. Enjoy if you go!

We went here as a large family, the staff were amazing (Maria, Kevin and kadie) although the heating was not working inside the resturant the staff did their best at finding us a comfortable spot to accommodate such a large group. They were super friendly and the service was very fast. The food was great value for money and all over atmosphere was wonderful. Had great evening, thank you very much.

What could have been a not so great experience was turned into a great one by our waitress Cathy. The menu had changed from what I was used to so I decided to try the new vegan "pulled chicken" tacos with chips. They were pale and not the pulled consistency. I've had this sort of dish elsewhere and it's been done right by using the right products. Cathy suggested an alternative and we had a great lunch. I've been visiting for 20+ and its great to see friendly familiar faces.

Walked in to an empty restaurant with only a few people eating in. The person who ‘greeted’ us didn’t even seem bothered & asked us if we had booked. We hadn’t booked but the place was pretty empty so we thought we could just walk in and be seated to eat, yet he told us we ‘have to book’ and they can’t do walk ins only today (conveniently only on the day we’ve shown up and whilst the place is empty) no proper explanation as to why. Ridiculous service and excuse

Showing it's age a little now, needs a tidy up, tables and chairs need a make over. Ribs that I had must have come from a 2 week old piglet, but salad bar ok snd drink prices reasonable. Tell staff to smile occasionally.

Ignored for 20 minutes then told to order otherwise they’ll give away the table. You get the service you pay for I suppose, though it’s not even that cheap anymore!

Really good food, loved the salad bar…portion sizes were good and the overall atmosphere was nice too. Service was the highlight, Cathy was friendly, attentive and really informative, she made the dining experience lovely.

The bread were cold and fly all over them. We went to the restaurant because of the warm bread and fresh vegetables. The vegetables were not fresh. The service took long to be served. I heard from friends and families that their experiences were the same and the warm bread and vegetables were stale. I won't be going back to the restaurant

Went today with my family, we were seated by the manager told a waitress would take our order her name started with an S (can’t remember her full name). First I had to wipe down the table myself as it was filthy with ketchup and food left, we then waited a very long time, with the waitress wandering around avoiding eye contact, we were not even acknowledged by the waitress, almost like she was actively avoiding asking us if we wanted a drink. She clearly just wanted to look busy instead of actually doing her job. It was not even busy, maybe 5 tables including us. The second waitress disappeared into the kitchen for a very long time. I did try to say ‘excuse me’ to get the waitress that was lefts attention which she ignored. We ended up walking out because the manager had disappeared too when we went to find him. I am 9 months pregnant with a little girl. Awful awful service, avoid at all costs.

Had a very nice meal the lady that served us was very nice i left a tip for her it was a special night for me as I proposed To my girlfriend.

Don't visit. Waste of money. Food terrible. I have been visiting Harvesters for over 25 years and the food was great. Last few years has seen a terrible decline in all things positive about the chain. On our last visit to Beulah Spar, The food was atrocious. The staff took long to serve. The kitchen staff clothes were extremely dirty. The food was really expensive and tasteless. Customer service was nonexistent. Will never visit again.

Our table was booked for 18.15pm, we were waiting 15mins I had to call a waiter to be served. I placed my order, it took another 45mins before the food arrived. My starter was supposed to arrive with my main meal. I was questioned as to did I order the haddock and chips. I said yes, to be told they do not have fish. I was quite annoyed and didn't order anything else. As I was already watching my clock as I had to been somewhere at 8pm.

Seems to have gone down hill prices gone up lots quality of food as as good as usual not too keen on the new menu

Neglected and stale. Plastic flowers by the windows are a tragedy for me. Food disappointed me, a potato probably cooked the day before soaked in water, salad with rotten leaves. I do not recommend.

Had a wonderful evening, everything was tasty. Only complaint is I can never get the bacon crispy, but hey ho. Served by the wonderful Steph, I wish more people in retail/food were like her. Fantastic service.

The venue is lovely and the menu is good and it’s very good value. But some of the staff really didn’t seem to bother about doing their job. Not a great experience. I arrived early, but later received a text saying I was late (see photo). I told the man at reception desk, so no excuse. Luckily my friend told me that I needed to enter my car number plate into their system, because the man didn’t bother to tell me, and I hadn’t noticed the sign. Shown to table. The cutlery was in a pot. The first fork I pulled out was grubby. My friend ordered a pot of tea. When she added the milk it curdled. The man told her that they didn’t have any more milk. She said she would drink it black, and asked for a clean cup. The man disappeared with the milk and dirty cup. Not sure if he went in search of a cow to milk, but we never saw him again. Our meal arrived (delivered by friendly waitress) and it was nice enough—good value for the price. Though the chips we ordered never appeared (maybe the man had taken them to try and tempt a cow). They did appear on the bill, so we asked for them to be removed. My friend had to go and request a cup, about an hour after our food had arrived. They did not offer to replace the tea, so she drank it warm. (We didn’t want to lose anything else!) My drink was the elderflower drink. It tasted of fizzy London tap water, so I’m guessing they fizzed the water but forgot to add the elderflower cordial. So, not a great experience which was a shame, because the place has potential. Maybe on a different day, with different staff it would have been great. But I don’t think I will be giving it another chance. If you see a man with a milk jug looking for a cow, maybe return him to South Norwood.

Had a lovely meal, food was good, Harrison our waiter was amazing, very friendly, nothing was too much trouble however certain other members of staff were very rude.

We visited the Beulah spa yesterday evening for a family dinner.The food was surprisingly good , hot and fresh and came in adequate timing.It was very busy but yet we was not rushed and Claire our server looked after us well ! We shall definitely be back soon.

Harvester is what is says it is. It’s not fancy but food is good and service is friendly. £70 for 4 meals and drinks is a bargain.
