Harvester in Bolsover

It seemed like either the staff were poorly trained, or there was no supervisor on site to make sure things were running smoothly. It took awhile for the hostess to come to greet us because she was socializing with the other staff. It was downhill from there. Two of us got the large salad bar. It was a mess! Several bins were empty, the dressings were empty and messy. When I asked about the empty bins getting refilled, I was told “we refill them when we can”. There were 5 young women working, the place was maybe 1/3 full, but they didn’t seem to have any kind of system or know how be efficient. The food was just ok. Our waitress was nice, but a little ditzy. I don’t live in England, but if I did, I would NOT eat here again!

A typical harvester, so you know the kind of food you're going to get. Staff were lovely. Seemed well looked after. Would use again

Lovely food Phoebe was our waitertress and she was very kind but the toilet smelled very weird and had marker pen on the wall and the food came a bit too fast because we had not finished our starter

the food was amazing and it came out really fast probably abit to fast we didn't even finish are starters. pheobe was very lovely and nice.

A great breakfast in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Lovely customer service by Megan, nothing was too much trouble.

I visited harvester for a lunch date today with a friend, we were greeted politely by Rebecca L and taken to our seats. She was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. We was served really fast and our food didn’t take too long to come out. Rebecca was full of smiles and keen to make sure we had a happy experience.

Good sport for a reliable breakfast. Derry was friendly and looked after our table.

Phoebe was very helpful And we all enjoyed our food

I've been here a few times and all good, but this weekend, the food was below par. My starter was overcooked and my steak fatty and chewy. We had a delay in the desserts but were told the apple pie which my husband picked had to defrost a bit more before it came out with a couple of spoons of custard. Such a shame. Maybe an off night .

Had a lovely time with family on Mothers day

Visited to celebrate family members' birthdays, it was a busy Saturday evening and we were seated quickly and offered drinks. The menu is quite varied with several choices and add-ons to make the meal what you want. Service was a little slow but it was busy! All in all we had a good evening and will return.

Service & food was excellent in my opinion no changes necessary

Decent half chicken and chips, lots of space in the pub with plenty of staff and fast service. Food was tasty and arrived quickly. Slightly pricey for the quality but not unreasonable.

We drove here for our date night, food was lovely the only disappointment was the food arrived before the drinks because staff were all stood at the bar talking and the guy who took out order 'forgot' all in all a lovely place with great food

Starters: The first mushrooms were burnt, tasteless and some were even empty coatings. I sent those back. The second portion was edible but no more than that. The calamari strips were almost burnt. Mains: I asked for my “Dirty bird burger” without cheese sauce. It came WITH cheese sauce. The chips were cold. The rest was average at best. The other chicken burger, the chicken was “nice”, but the bun was stale and the chips also cold, and the bacon bland. We should have complained but the evening was ruined by then, and the gift voucher ruined.

Phoebe was our host and she was wonderful, very cheerful and helpful. She remembered who ordered what and was very efficient. Great customer service. Food was great and the pub itself was lovely and clean.

Food is standard Harvester stuff. Service however was excellent. They even let our son pick his table when he didn't like the one they assigned to us. We will come again

Called in today for lunch with my wife,as usual the food and service were outstanding.Ate from the value menu,had the three courses for 14.99 and feels like four courses if you include the free salad bar,everything from the salad bar to our starters and mains extremely tasty and cooked to perfection.the loaded nachos are a must.burgers here are really succulent,best in the area imho.scampi chips and peas also excellent as was the service.Best eating establishment in the area by a country mile and very very good value for money.

First time visiting this Harvester whilst visiting relatives in the area and wasn't disappointed. There were 5 of us, turned up at 6pm and hadn't booked a table but got seated straight away in a booth towards the back of the restaurant. First impressions the place is very big and airy with good space between tables. The place we usually visit when visiting is cramped and stuffy so this made a very pleasant change. The female who seated us was very polite and pleasant (sorry didn't get her name). Table service for drinks which was good and they arrived quickly. Had salad bar and main course. Food served in good time and all very good. No complaints re food. Server was so polite (Phoebe R), even addressed my elderly father as 'sir' when apologising for a very slight delay in bringing him his pint he asked for mid meal. Didn't order dessert as we were full. All in all an extremely pleasant outing with family and would definitely return. My only negative comment would be the booth we were sitting at needs a deep clean. The back of the seat is made from a clothing type material and not wipe down plastic and was quite heavily stained. But the meal itself and staff I couldn't fault. Thank you Harvester 👍

I have never been here before so we went with friends and family for a special occasion!! It was very nice and the food was lovely. The service was also spot on with very friendly staff!!🥰🥰🥰🥰👍🏻👍🏻.

The staff at the Trebble Bob were brilliant. Excellent table service raises this venue above other pubs. Our 8 meals all arrived together and cooked to perfection. The food was very good. A very good venue for a large family meal.

We came here for dinner on a whim as we were staying in the hotel next door and we were pleasantly surprised by how positive our experience was! Staff were really nice and attentive, food was lovely and came out quickly and piping hot, and the restaurant itself was clean and pleasant to dine in.

Great breakfast had on a away day with Coventry playing Sheffield Wednesday. All staff were very friendly and helpful but if your popping in for a pint just remember they do not serve alcohol until 11 o'clock which could actually be good thing 😅

Our sever was Jamie, she was incredibly welcoming and was quick to take our order! So nice would definitely come back. She is a credit to the company.

Absolutely lovely place to come and have a meal and a chat! We was in today and was served by a lovely young woman called Grace who was consistent in making sure we was not only having an amazing visit but also a good meal. The food is delicious I would recommend harvesters treble bob to anyone I come by. Thanks a lot grace for being amazing as always!

Excellent service in tally’s end Harvester on our visit this evening. Food was served piping hot and tasty the salad bar was fresh and topped up whilst we were there. First time coming here yesterday and was really happy with the overall experience! Was served by a lovely lady called Sav and she was very helpful and really lovely! The salad bar was the best open salad bar we had had, the food was beautiful and everything was really nice. We had 3 small plates and a burger between us and had a really nice time and will be bringing others back to experience it! Thank you for a great experience and evening

Dreadful meal. Half a sparrow, very dry, a small portion of fries and dry corn on cob. They forgot the salad option. Poor quality food. Expected much better from a long established company.

The food was very nice. The young gentleman that attended to us was very good. It felt a little bit rushed between courses. The tea and coffee we had were both not very nice.

Just got back after a cracking meal out with family. The food was really, really good and was brought to our table promptly without any drawn out waiting times. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and ensured that refills and any extras were taken care of without issue. The Social Distancing measures in place meant that everyone in the restaurant was seated appropriately with an overall 'safe' feeling being achieved whilst eating out during this time. Alysha and other members of staff were so polite and ensured our visit went without any problems. All the staff we dealt with could not have been better, thankyou 😁👍. The eat out to help out was a nice added bonus too. Discounts aside though, we will definitely be back.

Food was poor, lukewarm Xmas dinner and missing items on burger. Decor needs attention. Dirty walls and floors.

Booked a table it wasn't busy. We was sat 50 mins without anyone coming to ask if we wanted to order drinks. Over an hour before even getting salad bowls and asked what food we would like. We had to go and ask if we was getting served. People came in after us had drinks starters and mains before we even had drinks. Absolutely shocking service. Did have breakfast with santa booked for the kids... Not now can't even run on a normal day sufficiently never mind on one of the busiest days

Think a little short staffed when we first got here (5.30pm on a Friday), but by the time we were ready to order (Served by James.W), everything was quick and efficient. Lovely staff, James was attentive and very patient with our toddler. Easy go to venue for an easy family Friday tea.

Been a few time now to meet friends half way always been good tasty food . But tonight it was Rubbish just cheap microwave frozen meals . Maybe a different chef wasn't impressed tonight !!!
