Seating and food is great. Disappointed that when you select 4 starters which my wife and i enjoy we only get one salad bowl between us. Even though our total bill was over £50.00 (with wine and dessert included).

Joined a queue of people to get a table. Staff walked back and forth, looking but didn't greet anyone in the queue. No explanation as to why we were still waiting so long. We finally left as the queue was out the door. Highly recommend the staff have some customer service training. It takes nothing to say sorry we will be with you as soon as we can. Now glad we left, looking at the other reviews on here instead of all the 5 stars on their own website, which they must filter. Very disappointed. Would give zero stars if possible.

Visited with family (5 adults) as this is our local Harvester and enjoyed a main course and dessert plus drinks. Bill came to a smidge under £135 without a gratuity. Restaurant was busy but Sophie our waitress looked after us brilliantly, and the service was quick, efficient and friendly, and very worthy of a small gratuity at the end of the meal. Food was of good quality, tasty, and portion sizes were good. Restaurant conditions were smart and clean, and Sophie ensured that our table was kept clean and tidy. Overall, worthy of a 5 star review, however, ultimately it was Sophie that made the visit special.

i visted today, my food was lovely! and the staff was absolutely amazing. i didn’t manage to take his name he had glasses though. My mum is gluten free and he was super helpful and told her everything she needed to be aware of and what she could and couldn’t eat, and checked with the chefs everything. He made our experience super pleasant.

Worst Harvester in UK. Stinking, dirty cutlery, no serviettes, disgusting state of salad bar half of salad bar selections were empty, half of the dressings were empty. Fully understand why the reviews on this site are so poor. Tried to get the attention of female manager and she was more concerned about answering the phone. She eventually mumbled something in my direction and walked away. Horrible, horrible place and staff.

Met family here for breakfast for fathers day and wish I didn't. Lovely to catch up with relatives but what a massive disappointment the food was. We got there at 10 am for breakfast and was expecting THE ULTIMATE BREAKFAST. In my whole life I have never refused to pay for something in a restaurant until today. The toast (LOL see pic) turned up 30 minutes before anything and I could of made better with a lighter or a box of matches. How it is possible to toast one side and not the other or just even warm the bread and not toast it is beyond me. The first round of breakfasts turned up and was sent straight back as stone cold and disgusting. Ten tubs of beans came out with the staff apologising and some more warm bread. Second round of breakfasts came out and even more under cooked than the last ones. When you are expected to pay £10 for a plate of undercooked and half missing food its a joke. I had the kids breakfast and it was a joke especially for £6. We managed to be done finally by midday and I joked that the free salad on the lunch menu was warmer than the breakfast. I will never visit a Harvester again. THE ULTIMATE BREAKFAST Three Pork sausages (not cooked), three rashers of back bacon(over cooked), your choice of two fried, scrambled or poached free-range eggs (like rubber and cold), three hash browns(stone cold), two tomatoes (one), two flat mushrooms(one), black pudding(never showed up) and Heinz® baked beans (stone cold).

Unfortunately, this Harvester venue seems to have gone very downhill, from our last visit, which was last year. Have never experienced a 'no butter' with jacket potato during the week policy before, butter. only on weekends?? The lady serving us was, I am sure, under duress, in having to relate this rule, plus no ice cream available, and certain wine not available, to every customer, whilst my friend and made light of it, I am sure many customers are not so happy. The meals are expensive for the portions and presentation,the salad bar was not well presented, as is usual for a Harvester, with empty trays and sad looking lettuce. the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was quite soulless. Such a shame as this venue used to be a very nice stop off point for lunch. Managers, please re consider the no butter in the week policy, fix your ice cream machine. Must reiterate that the waiting staff were really trying their best.

Stopped here on way home ,service was waitress waited over 40mins for our soup, was quiet at time our waitress BEV was fantastic she went into kitchen a few times trying her to find out what was going on ,soup wasn't worth the wait ,main dish no butter available only margarine yuk to put on jacket pot chicken was nice only over cooked on outside ,friends main change from ja4cket to chips because no butter gravy had been sitting as had a film over it egg what can I say was burst hard but you yet white of it was not cooked still slimmy and soft . Only good thing was BEV very good at her job ,chefs seem in need too much of a hurry to finish even though we waited so long for the starter, not good service at all.will not go back to this harvester.

I visited today with my daughter (11) and nephews (12 and 10) after a morning at Wetlands. We were all really looking forward to a nice lunch. We were informed, after being shown to our table, that the ice cream machine wasn’t working for the kids menu, but that it might be up and running by the end of the meal. The kids were disappointed but the waitress just looked at me with a shrug and said they could have an ice lolly or a brownie. I asked politely if it would be possible to use a lolly instead so they could still make their own sundaes but was informed it was not possible. The children ordered themselves and my youngest nephew finds it difficult to speak in public so was a little quiet. The waitress didn’t engage with him at all and just told me, ‘I can’t hear him’ very impatiently. We were given hot bowls for our salad and it was very clear we were seen as an inconvenience by the waitress. I was told the free refills of drinks had stopped and instead the kids had a dessert included in the menu. This is different to Cardiff and I thought dessert was included before? The salad bar had a great selection and we enjoyed this before our main courses. My eldest nephew had ordered the rump streak and we were all surprised at how small this was, given it was off the menu for the older kids. He had a few chips with it and a small pice of corn. The other meals were really good - adult scampi, veg sticks and chicken pieces. Chps were really good, scampi delicious, really tender and greta mushy peas and tartar sauce. If this review was just for food then I would give 4 or 5 starts but the waitress who served us could not be bothered with us at all. I had downloaded the App and there were 2 special offers - either kids dine for £1 with each adult meal or 25% off food. When it came to pay i was presented with a bill before I had a chance to speak to her about the offers. I did ask at the table if I could pay at the bar whilst the kids waited for their puddings as I had an offer code but she said I could pay her at the till but she had 4 orders in front of ours. I said that was fine as I needed to stretch my legs. The next minute she has given me a full price bill. I explained about the 25% off and the kid’s meal for £1 She immediately rang up a separate bill for my scampi with 25% off and said it couldn’t be in conjunction with another offer. I said I thought the 25% off offer was off ALL food but she told me I should have checked the terms and conditions. I said I had checked them. She then told me I couldn’t have the kids meal for £1 as she had done the scampi separately and it needed to be in conjunction with an adult meal. This had now become very complicated and it was not a nice situation to be made to feel in the wrong and made to feel stupid for not reading the terms and conditions. I was also in the middle of the restaurant at the till with the other diners all listening in. Fortunately someone else approached the till ( possible a manager?) and asked if they could help. The waitress kept asking for my £1 kids meal code but the manager was asking for the 25% off code. It was not a nice end to our meal experience. The waitress kept saying she couldn’t do the offer on the till but then the manager thankfully took over and swiftly used my QR code to take 25% off the bill. So I had read the terms and conditions correctly after all. I won’t be returning as it was not a nice experience and if Harvester has offers running as promotions, it should not be this difficult to actually use them. And to be told I should have read the terms and conditions was rude.

Just shockingly bad. Avoid! Unless your happy to waste your money on a barely edible meal and receive zero customer service. Food was below average. Two meals were left untouched apart from the chips were okay. Staff had coats on, it was so cold!! Restaurant/bar wasn't busy but several tables were left uncleaned for the whole visit. There were plenty of staff but service was unbelievably slow. £4.99 for two small bits of garlic bread?? £8 for a kids meal which was about 8 chips and a small bowl of chilli which had been created in the microwave. I want to try think of one positive apart from "edible chips" but really can't think of anything. Pop in the self service machine was good?? Will not be returning.

This was a busy evening in the lead up to Christmas and the food and staff were amazing. We were a party of 7 and the service we received was outstanding. Despite it being very busy, we were served quickly, efficiently and with a smile by both the waiter (who we believed was new) and the manageress. The food was very tasty and we will definitely visit again.

Visited here a few weeks ago with my partner. We headed down at about 7pm.The staff looked like they couldn't be bothered to work, there was what looked like a new 'chef' plonked by the salad bar, she would then go to the doors to the kitchen, lean against the wall, stuck her feet on the wall as if she couldn't be bothered to be there. She then spent the majority of the night stood there mouthing the words to music and biting her nails and spitting them on the floor!!!!! Then serving people their salad without washing her hands after they'd been in her mouth!!!! Absolutely vile!!!!!The waitress who served us was polite, but again seemed as if she couldn't be bothered to serve us. We had our food and left. Such a shame as we used to love coming here. Booked in advance, however when greeted at the entrance we were looked at up and down and told that we had only booked for 2 people, we apologised and we explained that we did not realise that we had to count a 3 month old baby as a person on the booking. We were shown to our table, with the menus thrown onto the table with no explanation whether we had to order at the bar or if someone was going to take our order. At this rate we were wanting to leave!!!However we stayed, our waitress was lovely and polite. I walked out with my family after our order was not taken and the staff said that there were others to get to before us... Even though we had been at our table for almost 25 minutes. Firstly we had a terrible welcome. When we arrived we were spoken to with total disgust for booking the table wrong online. As we booked for 2 instead of 3 (we didn’t think a 3 month old baby in a pram would count as a person). Secondly we were shown to our table, had the menus thrown down to us on the table with no instruction on how to order, at the bar? Table service? At this point we felt so awkward and unwanted we were seconds from leaving and we weren’t even in the restaurant 5 minutes. Thirdly the food wasn’t great, it was as if it was thrown together and very overpriced. I will never return somewhere where I’ve been shown disrespect.

We visited here on a weekday evening and got the two courses for £14.99 where I had the sirloin steak for a supplement. I always love the salad bar at Harvester and the server on the day we went was so lovely! She was an older woman with a hat if that helps! The steak wasn't great though unfortunately pretty chewy and just generally not that nice! The brownie for dessert was nice though. I would say the visit was between Average and Very Good ☺

Nobody on duty at front of house so had to wait 5/6 minutes to be seated. When calling in for breakfast pre-Covid we’d go for the all in at £9.99 but as there’s now no help yourself section we went for the £5.99 breakfast (classic I think) which was lovely. Orange juice at £2.95 was disappointing as it wasn’t fresh - won’t be ordering that again. The breakfast itself was lovely.Our server didn’t catch her name was delightful.

I ordered a set meal, 2course for £10.99, 3 course £12.99. My waitress Carys , apologies if I spelt that wrong, was very polite, explained everything as this is the 1st time I'd been in a Harvester. The food was lovely, and salad bar was nice as well, cucumber was a little hard around the edge, but I think that's my bad toothache, I've got. The tables were cleaned properly straight away, I have since read some of the negative comments, and I am glad to say that I didn't come across anything. I must say I didn't use the toilet facilities so I can't comment on them.

I had scampi and chips===the chips were white, tastless and were the cheapest of the cheap frozen ones, with no seasoning, the scampi was nearly impossible to get a fork in it was so burnt and the mushy peas tasteless, my wifes fish and chip was just the same with hardly any fish and it was double battered. needless we shall go there again.

Waited almost 10 minutes to be seated, no sign of staff and was hardly packed.Seated at a small table with ripped seats, the food was adequate at best, visited the ladies to find vomit on the floor, toilet pan blocked and overflowing and dubious liquid on the floor, so much for regular cleaning. Paid the bill and left without bothering with a dessert. Very disappointed as they can do and previously have done far better.

Eventually we had to walk round to find someone to clean it, the table next to us still had breakfast dishes on it when we left! Food was less than average. Visited Wednesday 11th August. Very friendly welcome from the host and shown swiftly to out table, with room for a pram which was ideal. Our server Cerys was extremely friendly and attentive, great with our kids and definately deserves some recognition. Food was lovely, a great choice in menu items. Price was average for a branded pub. Salad bar was fresh and appetising. Our mains arrived swiftly and were delicious. Offered desserts, but we didn't have the time unfortunately. Both the restaurant and the toilets were spotlessly clean.Would highly recommend & we will definately return when in the area. Great work Team Gowerton Harvester!

Well where to start. We decided to come for dinner here on our first night of our holiday in llanrhidian. Wish we hadn’t bothered. Awful host. The lad serving us wasn’t very good either. We arrived and was told all the managers were running the grill and kitchen as all kitchen staff had been pinged. Sat at our table server came over asked for an ale he said it wasn’t on. Asked what they did have on and he had no idea and didn’t offer to go and check. Ordered drinks and a cider for my 18 year old. Drinks came without the cider as they said my daughter wasn’t 18. Fair enough we didn’t have her ID with us. My husband asked for a cider and it was brought over to the table. He took one sip and was Quickly followed by the host (she had dyed red hair if I remember) she said we couldn’t have the drink incase we gave it to our daughter. My husband is an Army veteran and was horrified we were denied any alcoholic beverages. In between this we had been called up to the salad bar. The salad was awful. The rolls were so squeaky and we couldn’t open them with the knife. I asked the server to cancel our order and asked for the bill. As the treatment over alcohol was shocking without the dire salad bar. He left our table and eventually came back with our food! So we decided we would eat. The original spit roast chicken was so dry I couldn’t eat it. It also tasted funny. All the food was dry and not nice at all. We asked for the bill and left. In hindsight I should have refused to pay for any of it as it was not nice at all. I wish I had read the reviews before I went. Never again! I will be contacting their head office directly with more issues we faced. Ie flies and fruit flies lingering by the tables just as an example. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Awful experience. Matthew was the only person who salvaged this visit. Woman with pink hair and tattoos and an mask exemption tie round her neck was mouthing off about another customer saying ‘let him leave a bad review then’ and was huffing and puffing walking around which was really unprofessional. She also barely helped Matthew who was running round like a headless chicken to make sure everyone at their tables was ok. At one point, Matthew was busy doing something else and someone approached the pink haired lady to ask for sauce and she said ‘just ask your server’ like he didn’t have enough to do. Shocking. I understand the stress on businesses with Covid isolations but she was clearly not supporting her colleague in any way. Thank you Matthew for your patience and kindness, regardless of the pressures you were facing.The place was also really hot, I feel like the air conditioning wasn’t working at all.Food was excellent quality - very fresh and came out fairly quick which surprised us.

I have been to many harvesters all round the UK in which all have been fine but this is by far this is the worst one! Should be shut down! Worst service in the world…. Waiting for shoes in JD or any other sports shop is awful but this is ridiculous. Wouldn’t allow any alcoholic drinks at the table because someone at the table didn’t have id and because the table was out of the way they didn’t want to serve us just in case we would give it to them! Customers are always right we are in Britain so declining and refusing is not on! 16+ can have an alcoholic drink with their meal doesn’t matter about policy the law is law and we wouldn’t be breaching it and the person was 18 so they wouldn’t be braking any laws as it is! they had brought one to the table after buying it separately and they wouldn’t let my husband drink it! Also like to mention where I was sitting smelt foul! Smelt like someone had peed there! The radiator was falling apart one touch and it was going to fall.. loads of flies flying about. The food was nothing special! Also took forever to give us cutlery! They don’t listen I got served potato salad not pasta! Also asked for another drink it never came! The bread sounded squeaky like cardboard. The texture looked like cardboard. This is not worth the energy. We are genuine customers and this is a joke. DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME IN HERE! A party of four, including my wife and myself, visited the Harvester in Gowerton last week, after 6pm, for the 1st time since Covid came along. Disappointed that members of staff, both serving and walking about were not wearing face masks. A young waitress, not wearing any face covering took our order just 2 feet away and then served our drinks, handling all glasses and placing them on our table, instead of ieaving a tray on the table, which is what we expected. Throughout our stay, we did not feel safe.I notice that a similar complaint was made here on Trip Advisor last September. It's apparent tht nothing was done about it. Since it's still mandatory (here in Wales anyway) for all customers to wear face coverings, surely members of staff should be doing the same. We were even told to put on our masks to go to the salad bar which we of course did. Full marks to the lady serving here who was wearing a mask. To add insult to injury, our mixed grill steaks were dreadful. We didn't bother complaining, we just ate our food and were glad to get out of the restaurent!

Haven't been to Harvester for a number of years, stopped going when the quality went down and the prices went up. Yesterday our Granddaughter asked to go there as a treat for lunch. We really enjoyed ourselves. The welcome and safety description was very good. The lady who looked after us at the table was very good. Obviously you can't help yourself to the salad bar , but the person who served our sald was really nice. The starters and mains were so good we didn't get around to the dessert choices(although they did look interesting) Prices what we expected- food of a good quality-an enjoyable lunch.

Went there yesterday, ordered a pint and food still waiting. Service was shambolic, thought I’d have to chuck my chef whites on, walk into the kitchen, if you can call it that, and cook the food myself. For the drinks, i had to quench my thirst by licking the water off the grass outside. I did get lucky however, saw a chicken nugget that a customer had left on the other table and thought I’d take my chances with it.

Visited Fri 11th June early evening. Nice welcome by the manager and covid measures explained. It was unfortunately freezing cold in there. I play golf next door to the harvester so it's ideal for me and my friends to pop in after for a quick drink afterwards. On two separate occasions in the last week I've attempted to order a round of drinks and both times ive been unsuccessful, I might aswell have been pissing in the wind. They tell you it's table service and ask you to take a seat and they will be over with you shortly. 45 mins before anyone acknowledged me and then another 20 mins to pour 3 pints of larger. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back a few days later on a week day thinking it was because they were busy. Again waited 35 mins for service, to which point I went in to order where two waitress' having a chat casually behind the bar. Asked for 2 pins of larger, waited another 30 mins. At this point I said sod it and got up and left without even having a drink. The worst service I have ever experienced.

Popped to Harvester, Gowerton for breakfast this morning. We haven't eaten there for years but thought we'd give it another go. We so wish we hadn't!Unlimited Breakfast. Unlimited drinks. Once we were seated and served our food, there was no sign of a waiter/waitress to ask if the food was ok or if we wanted to order extra food or drinks.The food was stone cold; apart from the sausages which were like charcoal and inedible. The "toast" was warm bread, the bacon looked raw (asked for it well done) and even the tomatoes and hash browns were uncooked! The Covid guidelines were not adhered to as people were literally walking around the "restaurant" looking for a member of staff. The two members of staff we did speak to were friendly and courteous but the service was horrible To be charged £9.99 for that experience was diabolical and with no way to complain or order a fresh breakfast. My order was incorrect. If you fancy breakfast out? Avoid this place like the plague. This was worse than any breakfast/eating experience I have ever had.

Visited for lunch, the eating area is filthy, skirtings, window sills and radiators, have dried food and dust on then. Considering we have just come out of lockdown, there has been no deep clean while they have been shut. Food was just edible, the chicken breast we think, was reconstituted meat rather than a fresh chicken breast. Desert was over microwaved, making the sponge hard on the bottom. No draft beer, or jacket potatoes.

The food we had was amazing cooked to perfection I had the bird surf and turf the stake was amazing. My friend has the stake burger the gravy was quite watery but other than that it was out standing. I saw that Harvester had had a few poor reviews since reopening after lock down. However we found no problems on our recent visit. Being over 60 I have been nervous going out for food but found we were well away from other customers. I wasn't to keen on joining a queue for the salad bar so waited until the people there were all served before going to choose our salad. The lady at the desk was very pleasant & gave us the items we requested in a small bowl which we took off a tray so it wasn't passed directly to us. There was hand sanitiser for you to use at the salad bar too.The food we ordered was of a good quality, Well cooked & hot. The staff were all very friendly & helpful especially when we had difficulty downloading the Harvester App to get 50% off our meal. With the children going back to school I guess that pubs & restaurants aren't as busy as they had been. On the day we visited the service was very good & we enjoyed our meal. If all meals were of that standard & we were able to socially distance we would be happy to return again.

Having been a regular customer of Harvester for a number of years I was absolutely appalled at the treatment me and my family have received on our recent trip to Harvester Gowerton.On first entering the premises just me and my 9 month old daughter, not a single staff member cared to even acknowledge me even though many of them stood around. When the manager finally addressed me after 5 to 10 minutes, she asked if we had made a reservation. When I replied no, without caring to ask how many people we needed a table for, we were first told they were completely booked. Upon glancing around I saw many tables were unoccupied. When questioned on this, the manager replied "it's not about how many tables are free, it's about the kitchen and the kitchen is completely backed up".If this was the case for all customers I would not be writing this complaint, however, after getting back into the car with my daughter, my wife who went in afterwards to use the toilet, saw 3 caucasian women entering to be served immediately.When they were asked if they had a reservation, they replied no but the same manager got them seated without any issue.When my wife questioned why her husband was refused just 5 minutes earlier but these women had been seated, the manager then replied "oh no, let's find you a table" and questioned how many people.Upon replying 9 she said she could not accommodate, without making a suggestion for us to be seated at split tables.The only reason I can see for being lied to so callously is the colour of my skin. It is an utter disgrace that living in the year 2020 we still face apartheid like behaviour and especially not from the staff members of such a well established company such as Harvester. I have been an NHS Key Worker from the beginning of lockdown. This was our first family outing in months and it was unfortunately completely dampened by this frankly awful attitude.I have since written a complaint to the branch and the head manager has replied, by promoting Jade the manager in terms of how amazing she is, so I must be mistaken and that they could only seat a maximum of 6 because of Welsh guidelines however, I was refused before even being asked how many of us were to be seated. This was only asked after my wife went in and caught Jade red handed.

We called in this place at 12.45am on 12th August.Despite there being an empty car park, no queue at the door and many empty tables a very rude lady met us and asked if we had made a reservation.I told her that we had not made a reservation and she told us that we had to leave and pointed us to the Exit Door.It was plain to see that she could not be bothered to accommodate us and her attitude was disgraceful.Customer care is definitely not a priority at this restaurant and my advice is to conduct urgent training in this area.I will never visit this place agan

Ate here today with my children for the first and last time. We were seated at a sticky table so first impressions weren't great. We ordered with no issues and went to the salad bar. Whilst queuing for the salad bar I noticed just how grubby the place is. The management really should walk the restaurant in detail and they will see this for themselves. The food arrived quickly but unfortunately it wasn't at all good. My daughter ordered the cauliflower macaroni cheese from the kids menu which was foul, so the full bowl was left. The shallot sauce that accompanied my meal was really unpleasant, and I didnt enjoy my meal either. On the upside my other daughter did like her burger and chips. At no point were we asked was everything ok with our food, even when seeing a full bowl of uneaten food left, but in the defence of the waitress she was absolutely rushed off her feet. Which is the main reason I didnt complain at the time. As said in the beginning, I will never visit here again.

The last few months I have visited this restaurant several times for the 33% off main meals as I have the app and I live local, the salad bar and food has always been of good quality however I am thinking about not returning to the establishment due to one particular waitress called Denise. She has been my server nearly every time I have dined there and I find her rude, very blunt and fails to smile. I feel very uneasy when she serves me and also very unwelcome. There has been lots of reasons for this negative post that has all been down to her and the treatment I received from her. On my last visit, I had the lunchtime 2 courses for £8.99 where I asked if I could have my starter with my main as I was a little pushed for time. She didn’t even have the decency to answer me and jus sighed but went round to each of my friends n asked them if they wanted their starter with main course with attitude. She has put salad bowls on our table with out even making eye contact and walked away without saying anything and when I didn’t order a drink and my friend ordered an unlimited soft drink she made a comment that we better no share the drink and she would be watch us with our refills! I’m 37 years of age, a professional and a nurse and have never felt so humiliated in all my life!! Such a shame as this is a nice restaurant and some of the other staff are amazing

Lots of bad reviews but our experience, after not visiting there for quite a while, was nothing but good. The staff were really helpful and the meal was excellent. We've never had bad food in all the years we've been going there. What really impressed us was when we were being shown to our table, we were asked if we had and dietary requirements. My wife said she was vegetarian & was then told there were a number of items on the menu to choose from, which we found to be true.

Half chicken and chips (v small chicken). Jerk chicken, beans and rice. The jerk chicken was not marinated, a thick sauce (BBQ ?) was poured over it, making the skin gelatinous and inedible. After removing the skin, the chicken had no flavour at all. The rice and beans had a vile taste, no idea what seasoning was used, unrecognisable. The garnish of salad leaves on the plates were so limp they were slimy. Corn on the cob also inedible as there were no 'cob forks' available, not stocked. How on earth are people supposed to eat them?? The salad bar again looked impressive, but the potatoes in the salad were raw, the coleslaw was acidic, and the 'fresh' salad was limp(lettuce, cucumber) or dried out (carrot). Bread rolls, one was very nice, just out of the oven, but my husband could have used his to hammer a nail into the wall. In all, a complete waste of money. Never again.

Went to visit last Sunday morning, I had a bbq burger which turned up with a side sauce on the surface of it had a big hair on top of the sauce it looked like it had been there a while so for the kitchen and the waitress not to see it even now makes me sick. I told Annie our waitress who didn't even care nor did she apologise for it and just said "oh I'll change that for you now". By the time she came back we realised my partner also had a hair on her PLATE. AGAIN SERIOUSLY ON TWO Dishes. Unreal We ended up paying £65 for basic meals that weren't tasteful, the mash was overdone in the microwave, my burgers were overcooked and burnt and she had a nerve to ask us that stupid question "everything good with your food" poor poor place. On another note the extractor fans aren't working so the room quickly fills up with smoke how this is good for customers I don't know! Walking out of the place I realised that they have been given a 5 star food hygiene rating I'd like to think they should get rechecked. I for one will never come back to this place. Awful.

Me and my partner went here for our first date and at the start we were happy and enjoying but we had to wait at least 20 minutes to get our drinks ordered and then finally seated. We then waited another 20 minutes before we tried to signal a member of staff to take our order. We understood that they were busy but as it wasnt that busy we didnt think they would take so long to come to us..our food was delicious I will say that but the amount of time it took for them to take our drink and food order was a little ridiculous as we could see them gossiping and talking in a group of three from where we were sitting and after being there for nearly 2 hours in total we had enough and asked for our bill which took another 10 minutes because staff was talking and being incredibly slow..Food-deliciousSurroundings-happyStaff-poor and kind of unfriendly..would we go again.......not to gowerton but maybe a different chain of the harvester..

I would have rated this more than average... however 4/5 states it as very good, which it wasn't quite there. Salad bar is always a plus, but they could offer bigger bowls, however selection was good and all look fresh, being topped up regularly. My husbands `Cowboy' burger was prefect as were they accompanying chunky chips, nicely hot and crispy.The staff were all lovely, particularly Matthew who was attentitive and knowledgable about the menu.The place could do with a freshen up especially the female toilets, but this is just down to wear and tear due to high through put of customers. Otherwise we were made to feel relaxed and not rushed during our visit
