Absolutely amazing hidden gem! Have driven past this place so many times without really noticing it, and then tried it with friends and our children on the off chance of a much needed breakfast!

Hartley's Kitchen had been recommended to me, I don't see why. I waited 30mins before my order was taken, I only wanted a drink! Service was unfriendly and there was a dog wandering around the place (bad hygiene)

Taking into consideration its location, its staff, its cuisine, its ambiance, its clientele and not forgetting its log fire, The Strode Arms in the village of Cranmore is quite possibly the best place for miles around to go out to for a relaxed and enjoyable evening meal. Charming hostess, busy chef, imaginative and tastefully presented food and a splendid time being had by one and all.

9 Heritage CourtyardMy fiancé and I came to Wells for the night and had booked at this lovely little restaurant. The staff Rita and Alice were very friendly and efficient. I had the king prawns for start and duck and honey for main. They were both absolutely delish! Highly recommended.
