Americano coffee was very good. Server was welcoming, polite & friendly. The barista took half an hour to eventually get round to making our coffees. After 15 minutes, she served someone wanting a takeaway coffee. Making drinks didn't seem important!

We went to Harry's cafe bar on a Saturday lunchtime. The cafe was busy so had a good atmosphere and the service was friendly. We both had very cheesy toasted sandwiches (one with sun dried tomato/pesto and the other with bacon ) which were very tasty and a large pot of tea. If we are in the area again, we would happily return!

We arrived on a Friday around 2:30pm with two dogs. With a half full cafe, we were welcomed in immediately with informative menus and a decent range of different options. The staff then returned promptly to take our order. We both had the savoury scones that weren’t only presented well but tasted superb. The tea and hot chocolate with extras were made and brewed perfectly. Very much looking forward to returning again!

Was looking forward to breakfast at Harry’s - nice environment and that’s the only positive - service was slow, drinks forgotten, ingredients missing from the breakfast - what was served was under down fatty bacon and what seemed to be deep fried sausages - a small spoonful of beans - places like this rely on repeat business and sadly we won’t be returning.

Nice atmosphere, decor and friendly staff, but maybe some problems with the heating on the day. I had the chorizo hash which was tasty but a bit overpriced for the portion size. My wife ordered thick buttered toast and the bread was bit cheap and cheerful and not expected quality. Coffee was very good so overall OK.

A relaxed stylish bistro on the high street of Wareham. Very reasonably priced homemade fresh food and the cakes are just WOW! just like your granny used to make. Dog friendly with seating inside and out. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, they make your first visit instantly feel like your 100th. Highly recommend the breakfast (all day brunch) the sausages are the best I’ve tasted south of the border. If you visit Wareham either shopping or walking then Harry’s is a must on the ‘things to do in Wareham’ you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered food took an hour to arrive, and then only because I had to remind them I hadn't received it. I was asked four times what my order was, and when it finally arrived, it was incorrect, so again, more waiting! Only a few other customers there, so can't blame it on 'being busy'. The food wasn't as advertised on the menu either, but by this time I just wanted to eat something edible and leave. Heard other customers asked if everything was ok, but I wasn't asked, wonder why?I was also charged full price for my unpleasant experience.I won't be returning, and have discovered far more pleasant and professional places to eat and drink in Wareham.

My wife and I popped into Wareham for lunch after sightseeing nearby and selected this cafe bar as a place to eat. It has a nice ambience and furniture and pleasant serving staff. The accent is on fresh homemade food. There is a fair choice of dishes and a specials board. We selected a light lunch of toasted sourdough bread with a tuna, cheese and red onion filling that came with a salad and home made slaw. It was a deliciously savoury lunch and good value. There is also a licensed bar. I noticed that they will also prepare food off the menu to be taken away and they advertise picnic boxes (including gluten free) for those who want to go and eat alongside the river that runs through the town or at the coast nearby.

I ordered a latte and hubby had a cappuccino and both were up to our standards as we are coffee lovers. Our breakfasts were really lovely, hubby ordered the avocado on toast with poached egg which was great. I ordered the bacon, tomato, cheese and spinach omelette with toast and I wasn't disappointed, one of the best omelettes I've had. Lovely, cosy atmosphere with sofas and a nice outside seating area, lots of curiosities to look at too and we loved the trivial pursuits cards on each table. We will definitely be back again.

We’ve been here on many occasions and I’ve always had mixed experiences but the rest of the family love it so happy to go along. Today the rest of the family agreed that Harry’s isn’t as amazing as they thought. The staff are confident in their role but on this visit didn’t seem too happy. There was an older member of the staff who kept telling all the customers they were “trying to remain positive”. Does this mean there is something going on with the staff/management/owners?! It is confusing as sometimes you go in and the staff will do table service and on occasions they just leave you until you come to the counter. The breakfasts are ok at best. There is so much choice in Wareham, I feel they just don’t compete! It is however always clean and tidy looking, however they appear to be suffering with a leak as there are towels everywhere! I would pop back for coffee but wouldn’t rush back for breakfast or other food.

Frankly, I Don't know and I don't care either! What a lovely place to eat breakfast. The staff were polite, prompt and happy. The breakfast, a full English, consisting of 1 large sausage, 2 rashers of bacon, a goodly helping of mushrooms, baked beans an egg, 2 hash browns a tomato and a round of toast with butter and jam. It was as fine an English breakfast as ever I've had and extremely competitively priced. 10/10 A+Harry's is deceptively large and goes back a long way. The bar area is clean with plenty of room and the open area behind the building is small but cosy.I had to use the loos and I have to say, they aren't the finest but Susie said the Ladies toilets were very clean and smart. I think the Men's had had some 'issues' and were undergoing a bit of attention, so that needs to be borne in mind if you visit soon. The next time Susie and I are in Wareham and need a bite to eat, we shall certainly bear Harry's in mind.

When we are in Wareham, we always pop into Harry's for coffee of something stronger!. Last Saturday - 17th June, we called in for coffee and were joined by two others. As it was a very hot day, we decided to have salads - they were excellent.Service was very good and the atmosphere just right. We always enjoy our visits to Harrys

Friendly little cafe bar. Serve a very good fish finger sandwich! In the heart of the town so handy for a mooch round the shops and the market place.

Fantastic selection of hot food, prepared and cooked to order, great value for money. Drinks and desserts available, didnt try but looked delicious. Food was well presented and packaged for take away. Will definitely become our local for pizza, pasta and burgers. Staff friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Dropped in after a trip to Norden and back. The old carriage is quite spacious, bright and attractive. Lots of outside seating on the platform and the grass bank. They also have a small book stall to raise funds for the railway. Prices are fine and the food and drinks are up to standard, but not as good as the Norden cafe.

We have recently attended two Sunday carveries under the new management. Our first experience was the trial carvery day and the second was two weeks later. We enjoyed the first carvery (the meat and potatoes being particularly good), but some of the vegetables on that occasion weren't so good. However, our second carvery food experience was markedly better. The turkey, beef and gammon joints were all well-cooked, the meats were succulent and tender and the portions generous. On the second occasion, the vegetables were also well cooked and there was a good selection. The staff are friendly and pleasant, but the ‘front of house’ could be better organised, although to be fair one member of staff said that they were trying different “meet and greet” options on the day. Hopefully this will also improve as experience is gained. After seeing very mixed reviews since the pub changed hands earlier this year, it is great to see a good carvery returning to the village. Give it a try and help support your local pub. We will definitely be back.

Great place for lunch or a stop off for a drink and cake... definitely recommend the Dirsrt Draught cider and the Dorset apple cake, warmed with ice cream

Nice food, pleasant atmosphere, great service. Minor observation, to my mind Bruschetta is not garlic bread with a few chopped tomatoes on the top. Other than that we had a very enjoyable meal.
