Harry Ramsden's in Birmingham

BEAWARE FOUND HAIR IN MY FISH AND CHIPS TOOK BACK AND COMPLAINED STAFF COULD NOT CARE LESS. COMPLAINED TO HEAD OFFICE TOLD ME TO GET LOST NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER ALL THESE COMPANIES CARE ABOUT IS MONEY SHALL NOT BE EATING THERE EVER AGAIN 😒

I have to say for a place that serves cheap sausages and bacon, today’s breakfast box tasted very nice indeed. Everything was hot and tasty and the coffee was good so top marks for this visit. 👍

Had the largest piece of fish on the planet but it did seem to have lots of water in it. Peas were nice. Chips ok. Still deserves a very good though.

Just had the most disgusting breakfast ever. Burned hash brown, undercooked sausage and bacon that I couldn’t cut. All for 7.99. Don’t mind paying the service station prices as I do a lot of motorway every week but paying for this when I wouldn’t even feed it to a dog. Been to other Harry Rs service stations and its normally ok. Avoid here at all costs if possible.

Disgusting The chips looked and tasted as if they had been cooked yesterday and then recooked And the fish was chewy when informed the staff it was "well no body else has ever complained". I stop here regular and will not be spending money here again.

Stopped for breakfast on the way to the airport! It was chaos, got asked the same question by each member of staff, Very unhygienic, was cracking eggs on the griddle, and wiping raw egg off their hands in to aprons and then carrying on playing up food! walking round scratching their heads, didn’t see anyone wash their hands at all, got given our food with the eggs missing, and when I asked for the eggs they were chucked on the plate with no care! One egg still being raw with the white still runny and gloopy! No cups for tea! And was given milk in a paper cup!! Absolute chaos, god help them if they ever got busy!!

Hopwood Park Services is a shrine to disposability. Looking around at tables occupied by people eating and drinking out of plastic and paper, it was a blessed relief to find Harry Ramsden's, where we were served efficiently, by friendly and helpful staff, who provided us with good, fresh food on proper plates and coffee in proper cups. What a relief.

Fish and chips for mum and myself no que but took a while to serve, though it was enough time for my mum to visit the bathroom. Nice day so took meal outside and sat near the lake, thankfully not many smokers so made it a pleasant experience, we both finished our meals mine a large mother's a small one, just right.

We stopped here for breakfast after an early journey start; The cooked breakfast was good - the chef was frying the eggs expertly as we waited. Tasty bacon and sausage, a good choice of food . The helping of black pudding was large, but not the nicest I have tasted - I would prefer a small piece of better quality. We asked for a pot of tea for two. Unfortunately the tea was rather weak, and only filled the mugs to about two thirds, with no chance of a second mug. I checked that it was atwo person pot, and was assured it was. I bought a second pot, but I do feel that a pot for two should give you at least one full mug each.

Walk in door saw picture of lovely roll with sausage bacon and egg £4.99 thinking that’s for us off we went to get two only to be told your only allowed 2 meats and egg are a meat. Thinking strange but decided to have black pudding sausage n bean ( still not happy) to find B/P taste of fish. So never again will we do Harry Ramston for breakfast

Fancied a change from the usual Burger King or Maccy Ds for a quick lunch on the way to holiday with the family. Harry Ramsdens caught our eye and after a quick wait our food was ready. Haloumi burger for me, mini fish bites and chips for the boys. We all loved it. Will definitely be going back to another HRs soon!

Stopped at Hopwood Park Services and spotted the Harry Rzmsdens Fish and Chips, there was a short queue, food is cooked to order so not available instantly, no problems but it didn't have the old Harry Ramsdens taste, maybe it is cooked in a more healthy oil nowadays. Reasonable value for money.

Best fish chips and curry sauce I have ever tasted. I know it's a service station but what a fantastic meal.

The full English was pretty mediocre for the £7/8 or whatever I paid for it. Wasn't quite what I expected. Kind of wish I'd just gone to the KFC next to it. Will go back and try the fish and chips when I'm passing through to see if it's any good but not the breakfast again.

Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended. Wonderful mug of tea, too. Loved all the trimmings including eggs, sausages, bacon, tomatoes ,mushrooms and toast. All perfectly cooked.

The title says it all - stopped for a short break and decided to have fish & chips; was immediately persuaded to go large which I didnt really want. The fish was ok, the chips were shocking, just crispy fries

Travelling back to London after having collected something in Dudley we (two large men) were naturally hungry - neither of us having eaten at all! The services had a choice of food outlets and Harry ramsden's used to have a good name for fish and chips and so we though breakfast would be good.

We had been stuck on M42 last Monday due to an accident for over an hour and itcwas great to see the "oasis" of this service area clean tidy and staff welcoming and nice chouce of freshly cooked breakfast items serviced by smiling friendly staff

Almost £8 for a sausage bap and a cappuccino. Sausage was nice but the coffee cup was filled only 3/4 of the way up so not good value for money I'm afraid.

Actually visited the newly opened HR on the Hagley Road in Birmingham which is not yet listed. Despite being quiet (Sunday evening) there was a friendly atmosphere. Excellent fish and chips served by an efficient waitress. Good service and even better value

Este es en un parque de servicios de la autopista en Hopwood, junto con otros "restaurantes". El comedor principal está compartido con todos ellos, pero hay un montón de asientos y opciones, y está limpio, bien ordenaba y tiene un buen ambiente. El pescado y las patatas fritas eran fantásticos (como recuerdo el original de Harry en Guiseley) y conseguir en una placa adecuada con cuchillos y tenedores, que es inusual para un servicio. Llamé a la hora del almuerzo y tarde para que no estaban demasiado ocupados, y el servicio era rápido y eficiente, el personal Politie, lo cual es una ventaja. Los precios son muy muy razonable para un área de servicio - sobre lo que cabe esperar de una tienda normal de pescado. Bien merece una visita si viajas en el M42 - volveré a llamar de nuevo.

Me detuve para un rápido roll desayuno, café y cometí el error de elegir Harry Ramsden. Mientras que la porción de 4 trozo de tocino y café estaban bien el rollo no era manteca y el ketchup era un elemento adicional. Me llamó amigo, buddy y pal por el operador contador joven y cargará más de 7 libras por el privilegio. No regresaré.

No es Harry ramsden se supone que tiene que ser el mejor pescado y patatas fritas en el Reino Unido? Sin duda no es bien aquí.

We stopped here on a journey and had the cod,chips and peas and as with all Harry Ramsdens it was excellent. A big tasty plateful Recommended
