Harpers Kebab in St Albans

Ordered cod and chips for my partner's 30th today. Excellent quality. Tastes fantastic! Ideal place to order takeaway during lockdown and all times. Keep up the good work! Thank-you guys.

Okay wanted fish and chips during the lockdown and they deliver Okay for the food, the chips were good and very tasty The fish was really light and well cooked and one of the best I tasted in the town From The chip critic

Just had fish and chips delivered. I must say I wasn't going to bother having read the TripAdvisor reviews, but took a chance as my favourite fish bars are closed, this was the only option.Delivery was quick (rang the bell and left food outside, it was hot, and the food was very acceptable.I would definitely use again - encountered none of the problems mentioned by other reviewers.

Food is disgusting, delivery service is very very poor and both delivery driver and people that work in restaurant are extremely rude. Also after eating their food I was extremely sick ( vomiting and diarrhoea) No one should order from here

this place has no right to be in the takeaway business, I ordered a takeaway, donor and chicken with fries, no fries no chicken. half an hour late and 3 pound above the agreed price. Always have a look before you pay. These are total and utter scammers. I love this little corner of St Albans. These charlatans are destroying St Albans, Never use them, HATE HARPERS

I generally don't write reviews, but I was deeply disappointed by this restaurant. We ordered on "just eat" and the food was uneatable. After the first bite, we did not even finish neither the lamb kebab nor the fries (the oil they used was visibly old). Even the apple pie was just a greasy, artificial and industrial roll. We will never order from here again, just a waste of money

ordered a take away from here spent 20 pounds what a waste of money chips were rank and turning black the kebab I ordered was chicken with donor the chicken was so dry couldn't swallow it the donor was dry burnt no taste in actual fact disgusting then to top it off the salad had a huge hair will never come here again

Ordered at 5.30pm i was told would be 30-45mins before delivered & it’s now 2hrs on & still no food!! I will not be ordering from here again which is a shame as the food previously was ok. I like to support local small businesses but experiences like this make me think otherwise

I feel slightly sad leaving this review but hope it will motivate the staff of Harpers to buck up their ideas. We have used them every month or two for around two years. The service and food has always been excellent – as mentioned in my previous review. However, two of the last three orders have disappointed. One was lukewarm and fish ‘n’ chips do not take reheating well. The other order included a kebab which was disappointing in quality. The orders have always been for two people and have always been delivered free. The other day we had guests and wanted to order for four. When it came to delivery it was “that will be an extra three, no four pounds”! I decided not to complete the order as they are dearer than some but it has been balanced out by the quality until the two more recent issues.We will probably try ordering again in the future but if there are issues they have lost a customer!

Pedí una hamburguesa con queso y bacon para la entrega. Tardamos una hora y media. Luego, cuando empezamos a comer, nos dimos cuenta de que no había sólo tocino y queso hamburguesa en pan! Cuando llamé para resolver la situación, dijo que era todo mi culpa por no specifing que quería una hamburguesa así como el tocino. La persona que fue muy grosero y no estaba dispuesto a hacer nada para resolver el problema. Intentaron una hamburguesa en orden para mí tener un queso y bacon burger! Absolutamente vergonzoso nunca será pedir desde aquí de nuevo y nunca se lo recomendaría a cualquiera!

Solíamos pensar que pueda garantizarse la buena "pescado y patatas fritas" en Harpenden tenías que ir a Redbourn o Wheathampstead. Sin embargo, ahora tenemos una opción. Una fría noche de noviembre húmedo que llegamos tarde y cansados. No había energía para cocinar o para ir y recoger comida para llevar, así que tenía un aspecto en línea para personas que entreguen y encontramos Harpers. Sabíamos lo que ofrecían era bueno haber comido allí algunos meses antes cuando haciendo algunas compras para la madre de mi novia en la tienda cerca de la discapacidad. Hay un pedido mínimo para entrega gratis pero es bastante fácil de hacer su pedido hasta este como también ofrecen una variedad de refrescos, cervezas y vino.

Harpers pescado y restaurante de Kebabs ahora debe ser la única tienda fish and chips en St Albans abierta el domingo. nos desanimó por las normas de clasificación de 2 comida en 2014 junio, pero en los 20 minutos que esperamos para el pescado para ser cocinados no vimos ninguna razón por la que el número no debe haber sido por lo menos 4.
