Harlies in Leeds

Food taste so delicious, perfect size portions. Burgers especially are juicy and tender :P. Definitely worth every penny. I would go miles just to get food from here. Every single visit to Leeds must include a visit to Harlies. They always seems to have some offers as well.

Acabamos de pedir 35 y llegó no hace mucho media hora tarde. Frío y empapado. No contestan el teléfono cuando los llamamos. Lo mejor es que vivimos al otro lado de la calle, pero no nos dio la opción de recogerlo cuando ordenamos y no queríamos esperar debido a la pandemia. Los waffles son simplemente papilla en este momento. Patatas fritas y queso frías. Hamburguesas súper secas

¡Este lugar es una excelente solución para llevar cuando no puede molestarse en hacer cola en el McDonald's de Briggate! ¡Nuestra comida estaba lista bastante rápido y era exactamente lo que esperarías!

No soy de los que dejan una reseña, pero nuestra visita a Harlie's en Leeds hizo que mi novio y yo estuviéramos muy frustrados. Pedimos Mac & Cheese, nadie más en el lugar a pesar de ser bullicioso, vive el sábado alrededor de las 5 pm en el centro de la ciudad. Independientemente de esto, le dimos una oportunidad: el macarrones con queso era prácticamente una comida congelada, podía ver la cocina desde mi asiento y cuando llegó estaba completamente frío. Pedimos un reembolso y nos fuimos. Además, solo había un miembro del personal, además de esto, la simple comida congelada tardó en llegar, presumiendo eludir la idea de que se estaba preparando adecuadamente desde cero. Definitivamente no, horrendo. ¡EVITAR!

Visité con mis 2 hijos y comí hamburguesas de pollo mexicanas, eran hermosas, las papas fritas eran muy sabrosas y muy calientes, y los batidos eran increíbles. Realmente disfrutamos nuestra comida y definitivamente volveremos, es una pena que el lugar no estuviera más ocupado ya que la comida y el personal eran realmente agradables

The location is very central , restaurant has a decent modern hipster vibe. The wait time for everything was horrendous. We were the only customers in the entire place. We used a Groupon for burger, fries and a milkshake. The milkshakes arrived one at a time over a period of 30 minutes and food took about 40 minutes. Far too long for a place like this. We had a selection of beef and chicken burgers which were nice when they finally arrived. The milkshakes were okay but the chips were very cheap kebab shop style . On one portion of loaded fries the guacamole was more of a guacamole sauce and tasted very artificial. To apologise for the long wait were offered a free waffle for our daughter. Unfortunately it's not good enough in this day and age. Unless things substantially change, we don't recommend.

Visited here on a Saturday lunchtime with my two young boys. We had a Groupon voucher for burgers, fries & shakes. I had pretty low expectations after reading a few bad reviews but actually it was really good! Yes, we were the only customers in the shop so it lacked a little atmosphere, but the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. The meat in the beef burgers was decent quality, well cooked and the toppings were excellent. My youngest son had a spicy chicken burger and again the meat (all breast) was great. Fries were good and the freshly-blended shakes were delicious. All in all, well worth a visit and I’m sure we’ll return.

I went with my boyfriend on a groupon for milkshakes and burgers. On arrival, there were some people stood behind the bar who took our order and were very rude. Food was below par, nothing like the pictures. Cheap meat, cheap chips. We had to ask for napkins and sauce but when we went to ask, there were no staff around. Had to take our own plates back into the restaurant. Staff didn’t even say goodbye. Really disappointed. Won’t ever be going back. Avoid this place !

We went using a group on and that combined with some of the reviews I'd seen had me worried. However, we all really enjoyed it. The burgers were all tasty, and the shakes delicious. Service was pretty good and with the Groupon other was a excellent value.

Went through a Groupon deal, was kind of worrying walking in and seeing absolutely nobody eating inside we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Even though it's an American themed restaurant, when we walked in the staff started playing Brazilian music to fill the silence which was kind of weird and out of place with the theme, there was no American flags to be seen to signify it was an American themed diner. After ordering the food was made fresh to order and came out on chopping boards. We were wondering why the restaurant was empty so we saw the negative reviews and felt really bad for the workers. The burgers aren't as big as the promotional pictures make out to be, but it was just the right amount of food and absolutely delicious, had no complaints at all even with the modifications we made to the burgers. Only downside was no napkins on the table as the Florida burger is messy. Seeing as we had the restaurant to ourselves we could get napkins from another table. I recommend it.

Me and my husband visited the place with open mind after reading some of the comments and we DID NOT regret it. We had a really good dinner. Tasty, well presented, good size portions. Lauren ( hope it's spelled correctly) was very welcoming and attending. Don't be put off by few bad comments, just go and try it for yourself. We had Californian and Texan burger ( must try), some sides and Moreo waffle. We will definitely return.

Recently been taken over I have learned. Had a burger some time ago with my daughter and was really tasty. Today a load of slop. Wont go back, overpriced muck. Hawain burger used to be sfc and thick slice of yorkshire ham. Presented with tiny bit of tough grilled chicken and value wafer ham. Feel ill. Very expensive also.

I've walked past this place a few times and didn't realise it was a restaurant. The menu is varied enough for choice but also simple. Also the burgers are delicious and cooked to perfection. I think the patties are handmade too. It's cheap and really good value plus you get an extra 20% off if you're a student. The staff are super friendly and the service is fast. I got a really cool pic by the Harlie's angel wings and woukd reccommend you do too - well worth a visit!

We visited Harlies as part of a groupon deal, and boy were we disappointed. Whatever you do don’t order the Elvis, unless you’re happy with a limp dry bit of meat sandwiched between a bun with some peanut butter and jam spread on top. Their burgers are honestly the worst and we would have been better off visiting McDonald’s. We should have known when there were no other guests but us. A real let down as the establishment itself is a cool little gem located just behind the corn exchange. Nothing wrong with the cleanliness or venue itself, the food is just awful.

Ordered a Texan burger and chicken wing and oh my god what a meal was quick too ordered at 23.50 and was there by ten past will def be ordering again

definitely not ordering from here ever again, the burger i ordered looked like it had been shot out of a food cannon! £10 i wasted! never ever again please avoid at all costs.

My review is possibly swayed by the fact I feel like I ordered the wrong burger as my partner really liked her food but can only go off what I had. Came here on a Groupon offer. Even at 11pm it was dead so presume...

Since the relaunch its been excellent!! New staff are all so lovely!! Service was perfect!! Food was even better with amazing milkshakes and fat burgars! Very tasty and well priced! Served by mike who was so helpful also!

Good place to eat out. Been here with friends for lunch on Tuesday afternoon and we enjoyed it. Already reasonable prices and after checkin on Facebook we got extra 20% off. Bargain

Called with some friends for a late lunch. Really friendly place with helpful staff. Good food and not too noisy so a good place to meet chat and eat.

If you like waiting 30-40 minutes for food when the venue is dead, then this is the place for you! Unbelievable wait time for a simple order of chicken strips and fries. Not to mention I asked for hot sauce and was given two pots...

Waited over an hour for our order, kept getting told that it would be ready in 3 minutes but the order never arrived. The place was dead and we weren’t given much of a explanation as to why we waited so long. Got fed up...

Terrible service, most of the staff seemed to be drunk and wandering in and out of the kitchen, no manager was present and staff left do as they plesss. I ordered 2 burger and it took 44 minutes for them to arrive. If I could...
