Harley's American Bar and Grill in Torbay

Lovely experience! Friendly staff- which i must add for the man running the place today single handed, i was very impressed! ( 12/3/24) around 1/2 ish, did an incredible job! Very efficient! Apologised due to the staff shortage and things could take a bit longer ( which we thought it was done incredible quick!!) Food was lovely and very much enjoyed! The rib sauce was amazing! We had Half rack of ribs and a cheese burger! My little one had fish. Which we all very much enjoyed! The milkshakes are so lush! ( i had a skittles milkshake!) Everything is priced fairly and is very good place to stop off especially after a day at paignton zoo! As soon as we stay at exmouth again, we will definitely drive back ( 1 hour journey) it’s 100% worth it!

Probably the worst Customer Service ever in Paignton, and I've had a few choice moments! We walked in and two members of staff walked past us without even the merest glance. One disappeared into the kitchen and the other the toilet. I did ask 'shall we go somewhere else?' but then the lady from the kitchen came back and helped herself to menus... then as a second thought asked did we want to eat or drink. When we said drink she threw the menus on the bar, scowled, and the said 'well I'll have to do this later then'. Luckily the lady from the toilet appeared to serve us. We decided not to eat there.... perhaps you see why. Entertainment value for the worst Customer Service with everyone else was priceless. I couldn't honestly recommend the place.

Been going to Harleys since they opened, as just live around the corner. Excellent food and portion sizes. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Guy behind the bar was very flustered and actually quite rude. Order was incorrect but a lady rectified this quickly and without fuss. We came here at Christmas and were really impressed with the service so it was a shame to come back and be disappointed. Probably won't rush back as we really wanted to come back for the service and this time it was lacking

Came here a few days ago with the missus and her kids.. We had a few pints and the kids had tea.. They both had macaroni cheese and it looked great.. They was happy and had the lot.. Great service and a great place to visit...

Second visit to the bar and once again the staff were very abrupt and rude. Such a shame coz lovey bar and and food was good.

Second visit second time we walked out. First time for breakfast it was so cold there we left. Last night fancied a quick dinner as been busy all day. Given menus on arrival, I remained at bar to get drinks 2 people serving and after 10 mins wait (with only 1 person before me) my time to get served hooray and manager told server to show party to their table. Not so much as a “be right with you” “ sorry about this” No wonder the whole Route 66 chain went bust. This is a restart in case you didn’t know. Can’t comment on food as cannot get served!! Sadly I was going to ask if we could hold a reunion there for around 40 people, but will be taking that business elsewhere.

Enjoyed breakfast here, good value and friendly service, food served quickly, will go back again soon.

Went in the sports lounge a few days ago and was really impressed. Been upstairs a few times and never had the chance to try down in the sports bar. Decorated really nice and enjoyed a good quiet drink..

What can I say. Wow!! If you like big plates of food, this is the place to go. I recommend the Tennessee moonshine burger. Yummy 😋.

Really good portion size and lovely tasting food, service was okay however the music was far too loud and the staff couldn’t turn it down. I would definitely recommend it’s just a shame about the volume of music as you couldn’t really hear much else !
