Harlees in Wiltshire

Portions are generous, 5 of us shared 2 large & 1 small cod & chips & there were masses of chips left over. Ordered over the phone, so didn’t wait long. We all really enjoyed it, crisp batter, fresh perfectly cooked fish & tasty chips. As expected prices have increased but it was worth it. I will use Harley’s again, but confused as it says Stoby’s on the door

Chips were hot and tasty; however, this didn't make up for the bad attitude of the lady serving us. I lost count of the amount of times she rolled her eyes when she was asked a few simple questions, and wasn't able to crack a smile at any point. Awful customer service. I think the business has been taken over since the last time we visited Salisbury and I don't think we'll be back after our recent experience!

This is the best fish and chip shop in Salisbury, now renamed back to Stoby’s. We had 2 lovely takeaway cod and chips last night and they were perfect in every way - fresh, and freshly cooked, fish with a crispy batter and lovely chips. Ethan was very friendly and helpful, letting us put on our own salt and vinegar after everything was wrapped up.

My husband and I had fish and chips here on Thursday it was a lovely meal and at a reasonable price well worth a visit.

Its really hard to find good fish & chips (even in England) this place was really good. The fish portion comes in 3 sizes we ordered the large and it was huge, perfectly battered and came right off the fryer. The chips were large & plentiful. They added salt & vinegar and away we went.....with a huge smile on our faces, hot food in the bag and paid under 10£

Although a small place the fish and chips were very good, crisp batter and good chips. The take away seems to be popular with locals

Small restaurant upstairs so not suitable for wheelchair users. Lovely fish and chips cooked freshly and plenty of it!

We had 3 lovely meals at Harlee’s service was friendly and efficient. The food was lovely.... 3 empty plates. Highly recommended.

Solo 3 puntini a fronte di un ottimo fish & chips per alcuni particolari:1) in un posto dove il fish & chips è il piatto consumato quasi da tutti, un piccolo sforzo per non fornire bustine di salse confezionate lo si poteva fare 2) non vengono serviti alcolici, ok che la licenza costa di più, però vale per tutti allora, e mangiare fish & chips senza una birra è quasi illegale 3) la gentilezza del personale: uno sforzo per elargire un sorriso e meno sbrigatività lo si potrebbe anche fare

My husband wanted to have good fish and chips. A local couple recommended Harlees. He really liked his dinner. I had chicken and it was great. Lots of food for the price!

Great fish and chips - went when offer was on when they first opened so bargain BOGOF - yum yum - good fish great chips and staff that took time to serve customers well - if you want fish and chips away from a beach then look up Harlees!

When this place was Stobies, they offered good F+C. No longer. Kids have had F+C - not very good. We've had the odd bag of chips to eat on our travels - not good. Chips were old and brown. Whatever Stobies had, Harless does not. Just not very good fish and chips, which must be a hard thing to do.

Fish and chips as they used to be. Super quality and nicely presented. Reminded me of days long ago when a stop at these very premises on the way back from the annual Sunday School outing to the coast was a must. Well done Harlees.
