Harissa Bistro in Enfield

We went to celebrate Mother’s Day and have a meal together. Whilst the food was fine , the service was unfriendly and poor : plates whisked away as we were literally putting our cutlery down. We had not finished our meal and were asked if we were going to leave imminently as others were waiting . We will not be returning here .

AVOID, Waited over an hour for food as they lost receipt of what we ordered, Once the food did finally come it was the wrong order, Staff are incompetent and very slow.

We came on Mother's Day, March 2023, as a Mother's Day treat but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. We were sat by the table that was right next to the ladies' toilet and therefore exposed to too much traffic; people walking pass. we ordered our breakfast with hot drinks (obv) and the drinks were served first but by the time the food arrived, the hot drinks had gone cold. i asked for a new one but was told I would have to pay for one. who wants to enjoy a cold coffee with their breakfast? we also thought that the menu items were overpriced. there was nothing special on our plates, yet the price was steep. We paid £40 for 2 people for a simple english breakfast. we were disappointed with the service and general vibe too. My cutlery set was put beside my plate upside down. the owner of the cafe seemed to have her kids at the cafe too, who were next and behind the counter and kept eating in front of customers (standing) and playing around. its very unprofessional. would we have brunch there again? definitely not. there are much better places locally and to be honest the only reason we went there in the first place is because our two fav places we fully booked.

Came here one Friday morning after the school drop off so was very quiet. The first noticeable thing was that the heaters weren’t on so absolutely freezing inside. We were all seated with our coats on! The menu was plentiful with its own unique dishes too. But something was missing! What we received definitely did not look like what we’d seen on their Instagram page. The portions were less also. The coffee was quite nice too & we’ve got a few fussy coffee members in our group. Overall we weren’t won over unfortunately. Maybe worth another visit

Me and my family enjoy coming to Harissa itis literally just the best food experience you can have there is so much love and notice to detail in every Dish. I had the fry up which was so delicious and had so much flavour my kids enjoyed a kids breakfast mini versions of mine and they said it was the best breaki they have had and look forward to their next visit 😊 and we couldn't resist sharing their Pancake stack omg the cream that goes with it is literally an experience in itself! I can only recommend this cafe so good! Wishing lots of success to this buisness!
