Hare & Hounds in Shropshire

Totally enjoyed today's beef dinner in a giant Yorkshire pudding. Food was extremely good, will definitely book in for next time they do it !. Beer always good & lovely friendly atmosphere.

A lovely community pub with AJ, Joanne and the staff most welcoming. The pub has been completely and tastefully refurbished in the last year. Food now is excellent and the real ales are always consistently good. The village is most grateful for this wonderful transformation.

Lovely village pub with friendly polite staff. Had a selection of real ales as well as keg beers & cider. The food they were providing (hot beef cob with roast potatoes & gravy) was excellent. The hosts have only been in since January and are making an excellent effort in making it a popular place. Would recommend.

This is a true country pub, wonderful staff, then backed up by beautifully kept ale. Lots of tables in a recently refurbished bar and super clean facilities. A must if in the area, coffee and cake too!

Had a fantastic time last weekend at this beautiful traditional pub. Beer and atmosphere amazing. Big shout out to Rachel and the team. Look forward to returning for the exciting Caribbean themed night on March 23rd.

On a quick break away, we searched for a Real pub and found it at the Hare and Hounds. Only an early drink but fantastic beer, great staff and friendly locals, what more do you want...

We loved this place. Found it a month ago on the way back from a day out. Not a bad word to say. Enjoyed well-kept ales, as well as meeting some interesting folk. We're looking forward to going back soon.

The Hare and hounds is a traditional English pub . Super atmosphere , great locals always happy to have a chat . Bar staff excellent , friendly, nothing too much trouble . Lots going on pub quizes , Hog roast etc . Good variety of beers on tap . Sky TV . How your local should be . Would highly recommend.

What a treat a lovely english country pub lots of character really nice atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They have a lot of themed nights such as quiz or chilli,pizza ,fish and chips ect best calling to see what's going on can't wait to go back would definitely recommend.

Visited for the first time the other night and was pleased to see that they had HPA on tap. Service was great, very friendly bar staff. The pub has a few people in who all seemed to be enjoying themselves. The music was a bit loud but they had good taste in music so couldn't really complain. Would happily come back again.

we stayed here for 1 night in our campervan. A large hardstanding car park with grassed area to the rear. The place was really busy at first. while this didnt bother us, the owner actually took the time to leave his busy bar, come outside, talk to us and assure us that things quiet down later. As a campervaner himself he was genuinley concerned that others were being too noisy for us.. They were'nt...just normal beer garden patrons. Overnight camping was free. We bought some pizzas and a few beers but didnt feel obligated to so. If you are looking for an overnight stop in this area I recomend you phone the Hare & Hound and arrange your stay. We had a quiet, peaceful stay with everything we needed.

Have called in here several times for a drink since reopening sometimes as part of a cycle ride as the pub is set in lovely Shropshire countryside. Fantastic country pub with a great atmosphere and good selection of beers too.

Very cute village pub. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort in redoing the interior recently and adding small touches like fresh flowers and candles on every table was not un- noticed! Very lovely pint!

I visited shortly after the pub opened with new management and had been refurbished. The refurb is really good making the pub almost unrecognisable from the photos currently up on Google. It's a really friendly place, incredibly dog friendly and with some nice outside seating areas. Food wasn't being served when I was there. The new owners are doing such a good job. I am looking forward to going back soon.

Didn't even take card, no selection of drinks, just cider for lager, no Guinness either...smart enough, but not enough effort in having a decent range of drinks
