We had a lovely meal, basic but delicious, lovely friendly service, lovely and clean, great garden area and dog friendly. 2nd visit and not been dissappointed either time

I had steak & ale pie, and my wife had hunter's chicken. The food was absolutely amazing, the best steak & ale pie i've ever had. The crust was just perfect, and I could really taste the ale. The mash potato was really lovely, and green veg on the side. My wife reports the hunter's chicken was delicious, and I can confirm as she let me try a bit of chicken. We finished with the 3 scoop ice cream with chocolate sauce, and for drinks Guinness and earl grey tea. The staff are very friendly and relaxed, and made us feel at home. This is now our favourite pub, will definitely be going again for another romantic evening and good food.

Served by Abby, proper class behind the bar, great banter. Food is lush and service is top. Highly recommend

6 adults for our anniversary meal all had different meals which all came at same time and all meals was great value presenting well and all cooked perfectly. Staff looked after us and manager was not far away if needed . Meals was that good we booked 12 for Xmas festive fayre . Cozy area to eat and bar prices very reasonable. Recommended highly.

Kids eat free with a paying adult during the school holidays. Meals were good and quick, an outside area to keep them entertained, too. All reasonably priced with excellent car parking.

Recently went to eat with my parents, was having a fine experience till I saw a large rat scutter behind the stalls in the mens bathroom, put me off the rest of my meal

We had a great group party, our own space provided with the food both excellent and very, very good value.

This year we held our annual "Friends" get-together at the Hare & Hounds on Tuesday evening and had a wonderful time. The pub gave us our own space for 20 people, which was nice and cosy all being together, and the food was both well cooked, well served and very, very good value. Couldn't have asked for better.

We attended as a group of 20 last night and the food was excellent for the price. Most of us had fish and chips and the fish was lovely and the chips perfectly cooked. Having recently undergone a refurbishment this pub is a great place to meet, drink and eat.

In December, 8 of us enjoyed a Christmas celebration at The Hare and Hounds. We chose from the Festive Fare menu. The food was delicious. These premises are immaculate and the staff are friendly and professional. We, by chance, were there on the Quiz Evening and we joined in with the regulars. We certainly didn't win, but there was lots of laughter at our table. We've been again already this year taking advantage of their burger 241 night. We weren't disappointed. We're going again very soon!

This is the epitome of a well run pub. I’ve visited several times now and there’s always a welcome from the staff, especially Jane, the Licensee, who makes sure everyone who visits has a good time. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Stopped in for a bit of lunch after a long drive and surprised by the amazing welcome with warm and cosy place to enjoy some food. Lunch arrived nice and quickly and the standard of food was amazing

We live very close to the pub but until recently hadn't been in a very long time, but have now visited a couple of times and it is a pleasant pub for a nice pint and game of pool if you so desire. Bar lady is very pleasant and friendly, will be visiting more often again now. Just had a meal for the first time and the food was really good too, well priced too.

A lovely lunch for four of us today. We happened to hit lucky for the Tuesday meal deal so our bill was very reasonable. Landlady very helpful and friendly. Good food and choice of beer. Close to the Rose theatre so we’ll be back for a pre theatre dinner!

A local pub selling two guest bitters and the usual range of lagers and spirits etc. Full food service from 11 am. Usually fairly quiet. Access for people suffering from severe mobility issues restricted to the floor area immediately in front of the entrance, where most of the seating is on high stools. Ramp access to the bar. Plenty of normal seating accommodation in two small lower areas, access via steps. Plenty of parking and outside seating, plus large scope for walking both ways along the brook across the road and access to children's play area if walking in the direction on the far side by the fish and chip shop.

Only popped in for a pint. Lively venue and food looked delicious. Alas had to miss out due to time constraints

Has a lovely meal with friends and family, really friendly pub. Great atmosphere. Definitely will be going again. Will go at lunchtime with the dogs who are welcome. Highly recommended.

We had a slight issue with our meal, the staff was fantastic sorting out the problem, even the manager got involved, the customer service is exceptional, yes sometimes problems arise but all the staff went above and beyond to solve a tiny problem, would I go there again? Definitely, I had a steak and it was perfect, I've seen some bad reviews but that was previous owners,I can't recommend the current owner enough, I'm not local so we are not friends, I was just passing through

The Hare and Hounds is now a little gem in Kidderminster. The investment in building and staff has paid off. It's now a clean, smart and friendly Pub. We've eaten here a few times. The Chef certainly knows how to cook and beautifully presents the meals. The staff make us feel very welcome. The menu caters for all, and is very good value for money. Try it, and you'll agree!

The landlady and staff couldn’t make you feel more welcome if they tried and as for the food yes it was pub grub but it was served to a very high standard

First time back after a long time, refurbishment is very nice. Only had a savoury chicken sandwich, very tasty. Staff nice and service good.

Having lived near this pub for over ten years tonight we went for the first time ever. It has always felt a little off putting driving past but since it has been taken over it looked a lot more inviting. We went to watch the England Women game, highly commendable that it’s actually a showing these games live. Atmosphere was fantastic, decor is now warm and inviting, modern but also with a cosy country pub feel, The staff were friendly and we chatted to them for a while about what the want to do with the place. It was a very pleasant evening and we will definitely be back and next time we will be able to sample some of the food as we were a little late for that tonight. Great night had and now our local pub of choice. Thank you for a lovely evening

Don’t be put off by the old reputation went today and the staff were the most accommodating and polite I’ve encountered locally for a long time the food was delicious and very reasonably priced the drinks were lovely the decor is lovely and very clean . Will be going again and even booked to go to some of the events they have planned . Really glad we popped in off the cuff today . If I could give it more stars then I would ! Already recommended to friends !!

Popped in today off the cuff and have to say was very pleasantly surprised, first time since been took over we’ve been in and wow the decor was lovely the drinks were nice and the food was delicious. The biggest plus for me were how accommodating and welcoming the staff were I’ve recommended to friends already and whilst their booked on to two of their planned events in the future , which their was a wide variety planned for the next month and beyond . Went as a couple today but plan to take my daughter for some food this week . Over all a warm welcoming reasonably priced family pub ! Give it a go !

Lovely evening with the family at the new Hare and Hounds with the wife a kids. Good food, good beer and the new landlords couldn’t of been more accommodating. Don’t be put off by old reviews or the old reputation, these guys really have turned the place around!

Came in for dinner yesterday, lad behind bar (Ryan) very friendly and polite, not just to myself but to other customers as well, he even remembered my drink order/preference. Food was excellent, came out quickly and was well done and beautifully seasoned Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Never been here before, but will certainly go back. Very clean, and slightly quirky, in my opinion but very good service, very good food, served with a smile, and a good atmosphere. No problem!

Been here a few times since the reopening and rebranding , cant fault it , friendly staff, always find time to ask about your day no matter how busy , great range of drinks for everyone . Not tried the new menu yet but will be soon . Locals seem nice too , lovely to walk in and be greeted with a smile and a hello . Wishing the new proprietors every success, keep up the good work

We have been to Hare and Hounds a few times now since the pub was redecorated and now it's very warm and welcoming. All the staff are so attentive to every customer. The buttermilk chicken burger, bacon burger and the steak was also beautifully cooked. If you have any space for the puddings, I would recommend them also as they are massive portions. Dogs are also welcome at the bar. Thank you for a lovely evening 🌺

A lot of money has been spent on the decor and it shows. Very well furnished pub and kitted out well with pool table and numerous tv's showing sky sports. Ciders and beers all reasonably priced but only one real ale on draught. Unfortunately the food was awful. Mac and cheese was bland and tasteless and the veggie burger was cremated to the point it was rock hard. I can only hope whoever attempted to cook this (or should I say microwave it) is not the permanent cook.

First time in today for food since it reopened. Can not praise it enough, Mike and Julie were great even got my daughter some salad cream even though they don’t normally have it. Food was fantastic and the deal on two 8oz steaks which came as I asked for was brilliant. Definitely be coming back.

We used this pub pre lockdown and always found food and service very good. After lockdown finished we wanted to eat somewhere safe so on July 11 We gave it a go. Very well organised plenty of space between tables and all measures in place. We have since eaten with the eat out to help out 3 times and although understandably busy the food was excellent every time. Yes the waiting time was a little longer but what do you expect it was very busy the weather was fab and the garden seating was packed. We were there this week with family on Wednesday and it was actually quite prompt for food. We will definitely be back in the future even with no offers the food is still good value and the staff and pub as a whole are excellent.

Visited yesterday and we may have had lunch but decided against this. The toilets are filthy and we didn't want to take the risk of the kitchen being the same! Overall the interior of the pub was very clean. We noticed that one particular member of staff seemed to be rushed off her feet (Emily). Emily had been left on her own and it was unfortunate that everyone wanted to be served at the same time and the till roll also needed changing.Emily remained calm and very professional even though she was clearly under a lot of pressure. Emily is incredibly customer focused and it clearly shows.Hope the management appreciate what a "gem" Emily is!
