We happened on a day when the kitchen was being refurbished so a minimal menu of meals in a basket. We had two sausages and cheesy chips and were delighted. The food was piping hot, very tasty and genuinely very enjoyable. The staff were friendly, nothing to much trouble and the chef came out to check we'd been happy. Obviously I can't give a verdict on their full menu, but I understand it will be up and running in the next few days, based on our experience I would expect that it will be extremely good. Thanks for a smashing lunch.

Went for a Sunday carvery, thought the definition of a carvery was for a chef to carve your meat and then you put on what vegetables you want and as much as you want not for a member of staff to put the vegetables on for you, so portions are smaller, And if you wanted only 1 or 2 veg they didn’t increase the amount. It definitely is not a self service carvery, which was expected.

A little treat for me on the way home. Popped in for one after work. Nice to chill and unwind before the transition to domestic life.

We ordered two Hunters Chicken as there was no Gammon or Steak. It was one of the worst meals we have ever had. The service and the atmosphere in the pub was good but the food was really disappointing and a waste of 21 pounds.

I had a problem with the Food Hydeine at my hotel close by. I walked here and found the welcome very friendly. I hade the Classic hunters chicken, which was excellent and Great Value for money. Would recommend the Bay Horse to everyone.

We are in the area for the night and thought we’d pop in to a local pub for a bite to eat. So glad the Bay Horse was on our doorstep. We were received with a friendly smile (I think we were served by the landlady) and she was happy to recommend the best sellers from the menu. Glad she did as the food was great value and very tasty (we had the burgers). Great pints too! Thank you for your warm welcome.

First time in the area and first time coming to this marstons pub. Straight away from walking in it was extremely welcoming and a very fun and entertaining atmosphere for all ages and Food was fantastic, will definitely be coming here again in future

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Bay Horse. The food and service were amazing, the place has a real local pub atmosphere and our pup was treated like a VIP. We could not recommend it strongly enough. ☺️

Brilliant pub, with friendly staff and delicious food. The manager (Courtney) is so helpful and nothing was too much for her. There was a new lady called angel that was lovely and polite. There was also little boy there witch was the manager son that gave our little girl toys to play with (to keep her entertained, thank god!) witch was LOVELY! We will definitely be coming here over and over. Thank you to the team at the pub!

The staff were very friendly, we had a good chat with the new manager. We had steak and chips, daughter had onion rings as well. The steak was slightly grossly but the manager told us as soon as she takes over in October, she will not be using the company that is being used now. We both had a pineapple juice, when we asked for a second one, she bought it over to us but would not take payment because the food took too long to cook. She was a very pleasant manager. I would reccomend The Bay Horse pub to anyone.

I went to the bay horse on a Thursday which was steak night, the food was cooked perfectly great value for money. Me and my other half ordered to medium rare mixed grills I couldn’t have wished for a better. The staff where very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. When ordering drinks my other half didn’t know what she wanted the staff took their time to help her choose her drink i went for a pint of Birra Moretti and I’m glad I did fresh cold pint went down well and the other half enjoyed her gin and tonic as well. It’s safe to safe to say we are now bay horse regulars

Stopped off today wasn't too hungry so decided to have the bagget pulled pork and tuna for the wife wow full meal and it was supposed to be a light bite really good service and a bowl of water for the 🐕dog's can't ask for better service than that thank you good job we'll be back and good beer too

Turned up and the kitchen had just closed, however the chef was happy to cook for the 3 of us, the food was lovely and the service was spot on.

Not been in for years as I moved away. We chose a light bite of a tuna and cheese mayo baguette and a pulled pork baguette. Both came with a salad and chips. We were stuffed. Price was very good for a light bite of that quantity. Look at an increase of at least a pound. Stella well maintained. Enjoyed a few. It was a lovely lunch . Great dogs are allowed. Certainly look forward to coming again

Just come from the Bay Horse in Stourport on Severn...staff very friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The Chef cooks the most amazing Dirty Fries. Will certainly be going back. Pub itself very clean.

We were staying in stourport manor hotel but was a lot more expensive so we went to the bay horse and loved it, barmaids name was Kerry,good looking lass,served us every time,nice place to go for a drink.

Food and service was fantastic we had the mixed grill cooked to a high standard and so tasty pub also sells real ales which was a bonus

Popped in on the way home after shopping trip wit the wife. Hate shopping but unwound over a pint sat in the sun chatting with Court the licensee and regulars. Lovely atmosphere

Amazing food with a vibrant atmosphere, incredibly helpful staff and a great selection on tap as well as spirits! Will definitely be coming back more often, maybe even the new regular in stourport! Keep it up, the new land lady is smashing it!

Old School local pub lots of regular visitors and because of its location to Hartlebury Common and the riverside town of Stourport on Severn passing tourists and walkers are welcomed too.

I had dinner there with friends for the first time. Staff was very friendly. The food was first rate pub food. I recommend a visit.

I booked a table for a large group for a birthday & the hospitality & service is brilliant!! The staff are so helpful & can't do enough for you...! They even decorated the place with balloons, which most places don't offer! Every person in the group commented on how nice the food and service was... atmosphere is really good too... its a really lovely place for a family meal & the prices are excellent. They had toys to occupy little children which is also really good. It's so warm and welcoming & staff are wonderful. Since changing hands its a lovely place. As well as a beautiful location, it's really clean and tidy. Definitely be coming back & highly recommend it for families, it's worth a visit!

Wow !!! What a transformation. Popped in this pub a couple of months ago and the bar maid and manager were rude and I didnt feel welcome. I heard it was under new management and decided to give it another go..... Im so glad we did. We only popped in for a quick pint and end up stopping for hours !!! The staff and new manager (Courtney) made us feel welcome and the service was amazing. Great family friendly traditional local pub. We didnt eat this time but it looked delicious the family sat next to us said it was superb !!! We'll be back next week for 1 of the chefs specials everyone was talking about !

Rather poor. I arrived with a group of 11. We had pre-booked and pre-ordered but the table we were shown to hadn’t been cleaned - there were grains of sugar over it. There then ensued a long wait for the meals, which were brought in one at a time with lengthy pauses in between. No cutlery on the table, this was then brought in separately. A dish of mayonnaise was set down without a serving spoon. It probably took about twenty minutes for everyone to be served, by which time some of us had already finished. There was a very young child behind the bar, which was a discordant note. Altogether a very amateurish effort.

Very delicious meal with amazing starters and main dish and we also took our family dogs and had a great experience.

The Bay Horse is a great family friendly pub which welcomes our furry friend family members to. The staff and licensee, Court, are friendly and make time to make you feel comfortable in a pleasant atmosphere. It has a large outside space which is clean and tidy and I can’t wait for the better weather to sit outside looking across at Hartlebury Common seeing the odd cow amble passed.

Lovely family and dog friendly establishment with a relaxing atmosphere. Sat watching 6 nation from a tv that was loud enough but not so loud as to upset others. Like sitting at home watching the match with friends.

Had a fabulous Christmas Day meal today with husband and son at The Bayhorse. We had three courses and all were delicious. Well presented, tasty and generous portions. Staff were friendly and very attentive. The chef came out between every course to see that we were happy. They hadn’t over booked the tables either- so we were made to feel special. Well done- we will be back! 5/5.

This has to be the most interesting way to run a pub. The first ever self serving bar. Customers go to the bar and help themselves. Without anyone having to raise a finger. Amazing.

Popped in for lunch after walking the dog over Hartlebury Common. Has fish and chips and it was better than going to the chip shop! Was told by the lady that served me that it would be a wait on the fish as its hand battered and it was definitely worth the wait.... highly recommended! Excellent service and great food.
