Good atmosphere. Good selection of drinks. Credit to the staff—our server was lovely. Food was delicious too.

My daughter and I came here for a night out. The music selection for been a chain was on point all night, in my opinion a great experience. The food was amazing and service was spot on. I could not recommend it enough

Really nice place but very quiet. I was expecting a bit of music and staff to be bouncing round but the music was very quiet. Staff were friendly but quiet.

Sorry not for me not sure if it was just because it was not very busy when we visited but the place just had no atmosphere, we had one drink and left.

If I could give this no stars I would. We booked in advance and after giving my name on arrival the bloke spent a few minutes looking on the system and clearly realised no tables were available as it was quite busy. Rather than apologise for the error and say there full up which we would of had no issue with as mistakes happen the man who’s name I didn’t catch asked us what we’d been doing today which we thought he was just making friendly chat we replied just been to the football. He then asked us if we’d been drinking to which we said we’ve had a beer or 2 but nothing major. He then told us he was refusing us entry due to us being to drunk even though we had done nothing to suggest that. I understand errors do happen but making false allegations to cover up a mistake the restaurant has made isn’t okay.

Very polite and attentive waiters. Top notch staff. I had the Bangkok spicy prawns starter then the Messi burger which were both utterly delicious. But the main reason I feel compelled to write this 5-star review is because I met Bruno Guimarães in here and had a lovely little chat with him and his dad!

Nice location and not too big. Food is good, but always large portions. Great selection of beer and cocktails. Has a shop and sometimes has live bands.

Quiet but still had a wait to get served we sat at a table and no one came.we asked a guy passing but he said he worked on the shop....no one bothered to come and tell us we had to go to the bar . Which we eventually did ..the cocktails were definitely not worth waiting for

I came here with my partner the staff were lovely and it had a nice atmosphere. They offered me a vegan menu. He ordered a cocktail and paid extra to keep the glass it ended up being bigger than expected he thought it was worth the price. Food was very good I got the vegan burger and he ordered a BBQ bacon burger.

Came here for restaurants week and food and service was top notch. Our sever Dorion was very friendly and attentive especially with the free refills. Starters and mains were so delicious and good size portions too. My fave was definitely the pork slider starters they were just perfect balance of sweet and savoury. Desserts were okay.

Needed a bite to eat after arriving in Newcastle and stumbled straight on Hard Rock. Was quite at 3 in the afternoon so service was quick. Food is amazing and just what we needed. The cajun shrimp my favourite on this visit.

Went here last night for my birthday first time visiting the Hard Rock cafe and certainly will not be the last! The whole experience was amazing the food was just wow! And hats off to the staff they really do look after you especially Tiina she was such a lovely smiley person who surprised me with a dessert with a candle to blow out which really made my night so Thank you so much! Already planning my next visit and can't wait.

Kept changing delivery time.. Then saying delivered at 4:30 yet as I type this review it's 3:30 still no sign of food.

Hard Rcok shirt was not too many size here especially on M and L size. Asking the staff regarding size, i get rude respond from them. I think staff might be respond politely when customer asking the size which is not display on the selection items. Hard Rock pin also sold out. Most item is sold out here. Need to restock asap.

Called in for breakfast after a night in Newcastle. There was only one other person having breakfast when we arrived . The service was good, as was the breakfast. Seeing as it was quiet, I was able to have a good look at the memorabilia on the walls without disturbing anyone. We will probably do the breakfast at a Hard Rock again if there is one in the area we are staying.

Service is very good with staff being very attentive and pleasant. Atmosphere is loud, food was average and not worth the cost.

Drove from Glasgow to come here and tick another hard rock cafe box . We were asked to take a seat at the bar for 10 mins whilst our table was cleared , we did this and left after 40 mins of waiting for our table . I asked the staff member twice for an update and got "soon" and "Very soon". The staff seemed more interested in banter with each other however they did give tables to 5 other couples who had just arrived as we sat waiting.. THIS IS NOT HARD ROCK SERVICE as i know it from my travels around the World Disgusting ignorance.. 7 months down the line and after having contacted the HRC managment as requested by them i have recieved no reply whatsoever !! #ignorance again

Typical of the restaurant chain. Burgers really tasty, attentive and fast service. Music a bit loud, but that has to be done sometimes.

Was brilliant! Food was amazing and service was brilliant! Surprised with a birthday treat and our server was soo good, apologies I cannot remember her name but had dark hair and glasses even sorted a food to go for us and a discount on our meal as we were going to the stand, which they have a deal with! Highly recommended x

The service was absolutely outstanding and the staff were brilliant. But the food was lacking any real flavour or skill. It was a bottomless brunch and much fun was had. And for the £22 per head that we paid it was a bargain.

Central and convenient for those who walk and want to stop for a good dish or a cold beer. Good sandwich and always professional service. If you also have to make purchases, there are excellent offers on cocktails or beers where you pay a little more at the table, then they give you the glass at the shop.

Packed, overpriced and just naff . No magic hard rock experience here and in fact the music was not at all like the other 20 plus hard rocks I've been too, more grunge than classic rock, rubbish and £20 for two drinks 🤔 and the cocktail was undrinkable

Great place for tea with the kids - only perhaps it might be worth noting some videos/music playing are not really child appropriate... Sometimes a bit scary for smaller ones - however the food & service was top notch & venue was immaculate & a great place to be 😊🙌🏽⭐🎸

My Family and I visited here Today our booking was for 1.45 pm but we arrived early and i phoned too see if it was okay to move the booking forward too 12.00 midday, The Lady on the phone assured us it was okay and from the moment we arrived The Staff were excellent and are a real credit too this Business. All of the food was cooked to perfection and the Staff were very Professional and very attentive Special thanks too all and Daisy for making a real good day special .This place is beautiful inside and we all left feeling very Full and satisfied. We will definitely be back soon in the Future for the excellent food and the brilliant service This place is Excellent Try it you will not be disappointed and it was also excellent Value for Money. 100 per cent Brilliant. First time visit. Our server was polite and efficient. Pricing good. Would recommend.

Went this evening, stood at the desk waiting to be seated, was there for several minutes when someone eventually came upstairs, grabbed something from under the desk and went straight back down without even acknowledging us. I understand that the person may have been too busy to take us to a table at that moment but they could at least have said hello, apologised that they were busy and said I'll be back in a couple of minutes or I'll ask someone to come seat you. To flat out ignore us, not even as much as a smile or hello was rude. Needless to say we walked straight out the door and went elsewhere.

We've been a few times. Service is great, the drinks are lush, they came round regularly and kept us topped up. I love a good burger and can't pick a fault with it at all. Not the cheapest in town but I'm happy to pay the extra for the experience. Music is top notch and the place is nice clean and great atmosphere.

Super cool store with merchandising

Walked in and it was busy but managed to get a table. Service was great and food and drinks were lovely too. The people next to us left their table in a right mess and the poor staff had to clean it up. We left a big tip as they deserved it. I'm on a low carb diet but the fajitas were perfect for me

Fabulous Korean and Eddie outstanding due to being in wheelchair between them there was a arm to toilet and back actually outstanding hospitality from both of these they are a credit to hardrock cafe and compliments to chef food wad outstanding thank you very much I will highly recommend and will look forward to returning xxx thank you love to Korean and Eddie thank you

Absolutely brilliant experience for our first visit We were met by a lovely man who works in the shop area ( didn't catch his name).he helped down the steps with the pushchair, he was polite informative and friendly, our server was kelsey-Jay, she was lovely , couldn't be more helpful. Thw whole atmosphere was amazing , for a minute day afternoon there was a good few people in , we witnessed staff cleaning after a table was cleared, even the seats got wiped down! Impressive! The female toilets were Impeccably clean! The food was amazing! We will 100% be back! Thank you

It's expensive but worthwhile had a wonderful meal and the service was attentive but not overwhelming so

Huge disappointment. We ordered the baby back ribs, but they were cold inside, and the sauce was terrible. The happy hour promotion shows pictures of beer, but there wasn’t any beer included in the deal. We went for one of the few discounted cocktails, but it was so sweet it was undrinkable and gave me an instant headache. On top of that, even though the place was empty when we arrived, the server wouldn’t let us sit on the couches. We stayed and left, and the couches were still empty. I don’t know why I keep going to Hard Rock; my last few experiences in different locations worldwide have all been terrible, just like this one. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Just went in for drinks. There was a good selection.

All food Luke warm, asked for Monterey Jack instead of cheddar in my burger, still got cheddar! May have rated food 4.5 if served hot. Front of house staff need to consider a smile and a welcome greeting, same goes for shop staff. Nice service from waitress. Wish it had been better experience as always look forward to my Hard Rock visits.

First time at a Hard Rock, and I doubt it could have been a better experience. Started with the combo starter, then we individually had beef and chicken fajita, an original legendary burger, pulled pork sandwich, and duo bbq combo. Everything was well cooked, nice and hot and big portions, and most importantly tasty. The staff were fantastic, especially the "Makem", Melanie, we were intrigued by the pin badges, and she explained why she had them and how she gets more. We even bought a breast cancer awareness pin badge from the shop. Overall, it was a great experience and we will visit more on our travels.

Went with 2 other friends for bottomless brunch. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Drinks were served quickly. Food was very tasty. Skin on fries were nice and the burger was lovely and juicy. We were served by Morgan who was brilliant. Will definitely go back

Nice location of Hard Rock Cafe in Newcastle city centre. Nice musical exhibits, friendly staff, fast service and delicious food, especially the “Hog on the Tyne” sandwich made for the city of Newcastle. Plus great local beer. The Hard Rock cafe has a reputation already for good food and a brilliant atmosphere. The welcoming staff are very polite and accommodating. The waitress was very polite and helpful throughout the meal. However my downside to the service was the waiting time for the food. I understand we had a table of 8 to serve but there were only another 3 or 4 tables of 3 to 4 people also dining. Over 40 minutes it took for our food to arrive. The food was spectacular, a very good range to choose from. The music and memorabilia adds to the atmosphere which makes it a fun place to eat.

It worked, I deducted two stars because there were no City Shot glasses available in the shop. That's annoying because we won't be able to get back to Newcastle any time soon. You just have to plan better.

Easy to find on the Quayside under the landmark Tyne Bridge on the Newcastle side of the river. It's accessible from the front (street facing) and rear (River Tyne facing), and I recommend using the front street entrance. For those who don't know the brand, it's a great place to enjoy American Style Diner food (burgers, ribs, chicken, pasta, and vegetarian options) in a rock music venue. It is typical of any Hard Rock Cafe you will visit anywhere, with regional, national, and international bands and singers memorabilia in glass cases. The music was mostly very heavy metal and obscure bands playing on TV screens with the odd, well-known song. The restaurant is on two floors, and you are encouraged to wander and see their memorabilia collection. The food was excellent (I recommend the Salted Caramel Cheesecake, deliciously yummy), as was the service (friendly, informative and cheerful), but imho music could do with adding some Brit Pop rock bands and more mainstream music. A great start to your evening on the toon.

I haven't been to many hard rocks but this one was pretty disappointing in the decor. It has a sixth form common room vibe. But the food and service was great and they have some interesting memorabilia. It's just in a poorly designed space

We met a very nice, committed team. The food was delicious as usual and expected. The ambience is a bit unusual, very open and bright, but still pleasant. We eat nachos everywhere, including here - everything was great! Good choice of music during our visit. Sanitary facilities were very clean. The shop could be more balanced, the gap between S and XXL is too big 🙄

My husband and I were booked in for Bottomless Brunch. We upgraded to the cocktails and had a fantastic time. Our server was Katie and we absolutely loved her, she was fantastic! Very cheery and was a pleasure to have her serving us. She gave us recommendations on the nicest cocktails and she was right. She was very responsive and deserves a shout out for amazing service! Good service from their staff, the pulled pork is as good as ever. There's not that many interesting music memorabilia items on display.

Brilliant place, brilliant food, great atmosphere.

The food here is incredible, you definitely won't leave the place hungry. A little loud for me personally but that's the idea of the place so that's not really a complaint. Our server Dorian went above and beyond and really helped make the experience five stars.

Ideal if you are a music fan. Memorabilia on all the walls. Mostly burgers on menu but cooked and presented well. Very filling so worth the little extra price. Music is loud and is very busy so probably not best if you want a romantic meal.

Place is nice and clean. Not much memorabilia I had the double cheese burger which was rather disappointing it looked good but wasnt that nice. They held a quiz which was fun. Can't say I would return or recommend sorry.
