nice little hotel bar! really enjoyed the clover club cocktail & the BLT! prices are a little too high.

Lovely bar but drinks are expensive. £7.50 a pint of lager and lime.

A most relaxing location. Food excellent, staff friendly and attentive. Dine, drink and relax to live piano music played on alternate evenings.

Very nice cocktails I recommend the starburst one very refreshing.

Saw this place on Google maps. Advertised as open sonealked from town centre to have an afternoon gin. Private business networking.meeting going on. No drinks available. Waste of everyone's time. 🙄

"Served" by Kiera. Attitude disgusting! Ask for a latte and given a cappuccino! No apology! Also cup was about 3/4 full! Just looked at me like I was a complete pain. Made a latte and still no apology! Spoke to manager, offered another drink but didn't feel welcome so declined. Apologised and said Kiera normally has positive reviews, find that VERY hard to believe as one doesn't normally go one extreme to another like that. Upped from 1 to 2 stars as manager apologised.

Nice place for a biz chat, comfy and not too loud, super central of course - and good *strong*coffee.

How anyone can review this place and call it cozy is beyond me! It's pretty much a hotel bar, with a bigger than average selection of gins. But not particularly well presented, and more than averagely expensive. I'm glad it's here though, cos it keeps idiots out of the better places 😄

Buzzy, busy, place good for a drink before going for a meal.

1st time visiting Newcastle. A glass of pink gin with lemonade is my choice 🍹🍹🍹accompanied with my loving husband ❣❣

Brilliant place excellent service

Great relaxed modern bar & been here few times - does not feel like you are in a hotel. Great range of gins with bar staff making suggestions. Don't get the poor reviews - probably all had one too many.

Really bad gin with horrible presentation!

Very disappointed! Came to this bar on purpose to try the Gin tonic and it was the worse Gin tonic I've ever had! It was served on a cocktail glass and the bartender had no knowledge at all on how to prepare it!

The magic experience of drinking a gin in this bar is an absolutely joke! Taste is very poor such as the a presentation. If you expect to have the greatest experience of your life, just don't even try it! 😡😡😡😡😡

Their "local pride" gins have nothing to be proud of... served in a tall glass with tonic water on the side. Completely ruined...

An amazing selection of Gins - both local as well as international - with plenty of cocktail options and any combination you might desire, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff.

Took my parents here. Gins were all horrible (and we ordered 3 different ones!). There are much better gin bars in Newcastle that are more reasonably priced, centrally located and have better decor.

Comfortable and accommodating. Expensive too. Gets noisy if busy.
