I order every Saturday. but this week had my young grandaughter stay.she ordered chicken egg foo Yung . wouldn't eat it as it had lots of mushrooms in.. (should not have them in) otherwise I would have ordered chicken + mushroom .and she can't eat mushroom. NOT HAPPY

ordered at 18.30pm first promised at 18.55-19.20pm food then promised for 19.55-20. 20pm. poor service from delivery side. not good service disappointed with service

First time ordering and food was amazing!

The rice and curry very dry hardly any curry sauce in it quite poor had better ribs wasn’t tender and the spring rolls were very greasy

What a joke waited over a hour rang up to be told it's a 100 minute wait, who waits 1hours and 40 mins for a takeaway timewasters

Wasn’t good at all. I don’t understand how people are leaving 5star reviews. It’s one of the worst Chinese I’ve had! It also said 45-50mins for delivery that changed and it took nearly 2hours! Was freezing cold and was not nice at all. Won’t be returning

Only issue with the Mixed Vegetables Oyster Sauce dish. - Bamboo shoot smells nasty - visual appearance is very bland - dish is made up of sliced button mushrooms, onion peels, cabbage ends and bean sprouts. Where is the Vegetables (green)?

delivery driver was so rude that I told them to come and take the food back, paying for a service to then have someone braying on my window and talking to me like sh*te still haven't been refunded the £40 for food I never ate

Delicious as always. Kids really enjoyed it too. The salt and chilli prawns are a firm favourite!

Odered a few hours ahead for a 7pm delivery, food arrived on time, hot and good portion size, food was delcious, would defo order again

The bigger issue is with Just Eat themselves rather than the food vendor in this case. Raised an issue with the order and received appalling customer service thereafter from Just Eat given the nature of the issue raised. Will not order via Just Eat again.

Great food pipping hot. The only down fall was that the food we got were in cardboard container so food stuck to the top. But would recommend.

Food ready on time. No curry sauce in order. Everything else was fine.

Took an hour and a half for delivery but this was expected.the food is normally superb but this evening was a big let down as food tasted like it had been reheated

Very tasty, nice and fresh and noodles just right, (I hate over cooked noodles) would recommend and will order again.

Munchie box absolutely unreal so worth the money and the best place for a munchie box wouldn’t go anywhere else highly recommend

it was delivered on time but it still took 1 and half hours to deliver. if i knew that it was going to take so long i wouldnt have used the restuarant. feel let down as if i knew how long it would take for delivery before i pressed the button to order then i wouldnt have bothered.

Hot and Sour Soup great again! The main meals could do with being a little hotter and also chips in carton were all squashed so maybe a foil tray or plastic in future. Overall tasty!

Best chinese ive had in a long time

The Hot and Sour Soup is the best I have had in so long!!! The Sait and Pepper chicken was lovely and spicy - chips a little cold but that’s the only down fall.

Really used to like this takeaway - always lovely food delivered very quickly However today this was not the case. Food ordered at 18:40 not delivered until almost 20:47 - really poor communication blaming drivers. Had to ring twice to chase up.?If no drivers available then either cancel order or give customer option of continuing with purchase. Came so late we were no longer hungry Real shame

Haven’t ate a Chinese takeaway in a couple of year, due to poor quality. Decided to dip my toes in again tonight and I was not disappointed. Fantastic food. Those prawn sweet and sour balls are amazing. Quality of meat in the chow Mein was outstanding. Will definitely be getting again. Thank you very much

we have used many fast food place and chinese etc but ive got to say that Easternstar is by far the best place to order from always very tasty always hot delivered on time respect to the chef and all his staff 100 percent Simply the best will always use

really enjoyed the food as always but ordered chow mein from the appertisers and got rice instead. these things happen so. didn't spoil it . still my favourite Chinese restaurant

i have always used another chinise until i decided to change to Eastern star, i kid you not the food is amazing every single time. The staff are always lovely on the phone and always cook to my preferences, wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

chicken was like jelly chips must of been reheated a few times dry and hard and the ribs hardly any meat just big lumps of fat never again 25 round down the drain.

Munch box was lovely, delivered early piping hot, absolutely loads of food and nice big bits of chicken,the ribs were full of meat and the rice was fresh. Good value for money and the delivery driver was spot on.

Chips were not cooked and there wasn't a lot of them. Paid extra for noodles that were very dry and were not the nicest. Other than that i enjoyed it

This is the 1st and last time I will be ordering with eastern star. Quality of food was terrible. Lemon chicken the chicken was not fresh and the same with the honey chilli chicken! Batter on the chicken was disgusting! Chips look like they were reheated

Dreadful! Without a doubt, the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. Fried rice was congealed in the box like sticky rice with no aroma or flavour, crispy chicken was not crispy and more like chicken in fluffy batter. Chips tasted like they had been reheated. Three of us had this meal and everyone said it was awful. Most of it went in the bin. Never, ever will I order from there again. Dreadful on every level and I have had a lot of takeaways in my time!

This beef curry must be the worst l have eaten the beef had no taste and it was like chewing on a soft rubber all in the bin justeat needs to pay attention these takeaways like this giving justeat a bad name
