Great American-style food and fun vibes, but it gets extremely noisy during peak hours. Hard to find a table without waiting, so booking ahead is recommended. The burgers and cocktails were great, but not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet meal. Good for groups and casual nights out.

Great service, a vit too boisy i'd say. Overall nice place! Worth to note that the merch shop is across the street and not in the same building.

I had reserved, unfortunately we had to wait 12 minutes until our table was ready. When we arrived we were moved again. It was quite cold in the restaurant. Alex was very nice, but it took a while until we could place our order and then the drinks arrived. The specially ordered sauce was forgotten. The food tasted good and I think the prices were ok.

Good but expensive! Unique atmosphere, you have to love good sound and noise. After a 20 pound cocktail....it stings,) but hey.....The place wants it,). Possibility of visiting in case of waiting or request the small museum in the basement of the store.....

Friendly staff and good drinks but why is it so expensive?

Busy. Food and drink expensive. You leave your email address and you will be informed when a table becomes available. That's the theory. I didn't get a text, went back and then got a table outside. While we were waiting we went shopping in the Hard Rock Shop, which is right next door. In retrospect, that was bad in that after eating we received a voucher (depending on the amount of the bill) that we could no longer redeem because we had already made our purchase.

Our dinner at Hard Rock Café was great! It's already the first in the world, and that's not nothing 😁 the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything was great.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and our waitress Charo was the best! She was so friendly and attentive. Easily the best server we had on our trip to London!

I don’t understand how hard rock is still standing… the burgers were burnt and I think I would rather eat in McDonald’s. I’m sorry but except for the music history I don’t recommend.

Amazing service by Manager Krispy and his team during our visit at Hard Rock Cafe. Food and drinks were really good, and their attention to allergies was above what we have ever experienced before.

Unfortunately, due to lack of seats, there was only a drink outside. Without a reservation, it's hard to get a place here 🤷‍♀️

American diner food, burgers, nachos, steaks, barbecue chicken and more. Service with great, would recommend booking special for an evening meal, if you’d like a quiet peaceful meal not the place to go, lots of people, small booths, not a lot of space. But we had a really good time and it was good value for money.

The atmosphere and the food at Hard rock cafe is something in itself. You have to like rock music and a lot of noise to thrive. But if you do, it's almost magical. The food is very good and an advantage is that they mostly have the same menu at all Hard rock cafes. Toppers. We always come back to a Hard Rock café

Ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv. Wir hatten eim Menü vorher über Booking gebucht, es gab einen leckeren Burger, auch vegetarisch und einen Brownie. Wir haben unseren Besuch bei guter Musik sehr genossen, und es gab ja auch viel zum Anschauen.

O Hard Rock Café número 1 do mundo e com o maior número de itens de artistas que eu conheci! Tem dois ambientes, o de cima menor com estilo de pub muito bacana e um andar inferior maior sem o mesmo clima mas também muito legal com muitos itens. O atendimento foi muito bom e o cardápio e comida seguem o padrão e qualidade da rede. Gostei demais!

We pre booked a table as a family of four and chose Hard Rock as we could view the menu beforehand and could see it would suit us. Glad we booked as it was very busy when we arrived but we were shown to our table and given menus and offered drinks in a timely manner. Davide looked after us and explained the menus and drinks options along with snippets of information about the restaurant which were interesting. The food was diner style menu but very tasty, it arrived quickly and the portion size was excellent. My husband ordered a salad which was huge and the chicken tenders were a big hit. All in all an excellent visit, the staff we encountered were all really nice and made sure we had a good experience.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Was wonderful for the kids but unfortunately very little choice of gluten free food and if you are celiac then the cross contamination is awful!

Came here with the Go City passes which we received as a gift and I’m just glad we didn’t pay out of our own pocket. Staff at the front desk were quite rude and abrupt but didn’t think too much of it- went to the bar while we waited for a table for it to be so overcrowded with 4 actual stools at the bar total. Was sat infront of the door with a constant cold breeze and a feeling everyone was walking over us. Our actual waiter was lovely and seemed to be running the place with other staff just standing around. As a bland eater the food was so dry and quite tasteless and my friends burger being undercooked which made her ill last night. Wouldn’t recommend- Piccadilly one is much better.

Great venue with plenty of rock memorabilia all over the place showcasing the vast history it spans. Home to the Original Hard Rock Cafe this is a small and intimate venue that I've visited twice recently. First time chicken fajitas and the second time the smokehouse BBQ combo. Both great meals with plenty of flavour and very filling. Competitive pricing for London. Most recent visit included live music which adds to the authenticity of the place. Will be back!

Everything is perfect but I've already been waiting for 2 hours to be moved to a real table. I would love for them to improve on that.

Was 20 minutes late with two young children, told they had given our table away at 20.10 yet we turned up at 20.05. Our table was given away as we hadn't called, slightly difficult when you're stuck on the underground. We replied to opentable message as soon as signal returned which implied that the table was still available. Food is naff regardless, only the children who are disappointed. Spend your money at more authentic restaurants with proper service, like Da Corrado who gladly made room us.

It's the first Hard Rock Cafe of all time and thus the founding store! We've been to several Hard Rock Cafes in Europe, but this one has the most authentic ambiance and feels like a real pub! The food and service were excellent; reserving a table is highly recommended! It's worth it!

The overall taste of the food was just average, but the fries were surprisingly delicious—crispy, golden, and seasoned just right. Plus, the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making the visit feel warm and welcoming.

Good and tasty food the service is good and nice and if you buy a special cocktail you get the special glass that the cocktail was in for free and also a £9 discount for the shop next to the restaurant but the restaurant is a bit crowded prices are very reasonable for the family + extras recommended recommended

Tafel geboekt om vijf uur.Toen we er waren gaven ze aan dat het langer kon duren vanwege het feit dat het personeel van shift wisselden. Er gaan er naar huis en er komt nieuw personeel gaf men aan. Ben op veel plaatsen geweest op de wereld in hrc’s maar dit heb ik nog nooit gehoord. Roosterplanning kan toch niet moeilijk zijn? Maar uiteindelijk konden we aan de bar wat drinken en men zou ons roepen. Dit duurde hele tijd en zagen ondertussen nieuwe groepen binnenkomen die gelijk plaats kregen terwijl men aangaf dat we als eerste aan de beurt waren. Uiteindelijk zelf weer gaan vragen omdat er genoeg tafels leeg waren. Het antwoord oh ja u kunt hier gaan zitten. Blijkbaar waren we vergeten. Eten vond ik ook minder als in andere hrc’s , minder warm en hamburger krap gebakken. Service achteraf ook erbij betaald stond niet als optional zagen we later terwijl dit wel moet! Klant moet dit zelf bepalen, niet netjes van hrc londen. Bij uitgaan van de zaak excuseerde zich een medewerker voor lange wachten. Voor mij niet meer deze hrc vanwege vnl het chaotische systeem van tafel toedeling. Men heeft geen overzicht!

Nice location and atmosphere but the food is salty and super unhealthy. I had to return the fries because there was too much salt on them. One time experience that's it.

This building and decor are well appointed… but food is very disappointing! Luke warm burger, and it had a taste and texture that resembled something mass produced in a factory, frozen and then reheated! This was meant to be to smash burger but it wasn’t good! I didn’t want to say much in front of my family on holiday, so i sat and ate it. But then kids decided after pushing food around the plate for 10mins that they weren’t going to eat their food. The place is a relic of the past 1980’s nostalgia the food hasn’t grown or diversified … if your hungry want a fresh cooked burger just go to five guys! Fresh cooked hot food to go! Simple! Big disappointment

Cool setting and atmosphere - it remains an iconic place. The food is what it is - expensive fast food: very scanty and dreary plate full of salt and fat. Unfortunately, service was the real culprit that evening: the reserved table was already occupied, the starter was forgotten, half of the table did not receive a drink, the bill was wrong and after a comment about this there was suddenly an extra £15 on the bill.

Impressive building but that's where the good vibes stopped. Wife didn't want me to say anything when there but felt compelled to leave a review. 3 of the 4 meals were Luke warm, the Mediterranean chicken pitta bread was so crispy and burnt it just crumbled. Service was cheerful but scarce and then charged £11 for the service charge as a privilege. Not one to return to

Hard Rock Cafe in London is of course cult! Unfortunately quite overpriced

There are a handful of fries, the bread is cold, the meat tastes like it came from the microwave and the bacon is limp, the water is tap water and tastes like chlorine

Food was ok but they slap on a 12.5% "suggested" service charge that you don't have an option of removing if you pay by card, I guess you could have an awkward conversation with the staff about removing it. The service was ok but in hindsight, they were constantly trying to upsell us on extras, drinks, dessert. Now I know why with that service charge.

We spent a very good time in one of the most music iconic restaurants in the world. A MUST for real music fans of 60', 70' and 80'. We were attended by Davide, who was professional, nice and friendly. Highly recommended experience.

the place wasn't very packed, but there were five separate birthdays within the hour that we were there - which naturally is a day specific issue, but it was very annoying. i wish the prices weren't so high and it wasn't obvious that the waiters are forced to upsell even more. let the waiters and staff breathe and lower the prices and i promise you would sell more. the building is accessible, but the elevator doesn't have room for many people and is quite rickety. i would recommend only the wheelchair or mobility aid user using it due to sizing.

A complete miss. On my 3rd trip to London in 3 years, I was looking forward to FINALLYvisiting. Now I wish I hadn’t. I’ve been an AVID HRC pin collector since before I started traveling, and have accumulated well over a hundred of their pins thru friends & family travels and visits of my own. It always means more to be there and remember the time you picked up that pin, or traded with someone in the shop. This trip to London was special, with The Mrs and our youngest, her first time out of the US and in a city known for the thing she’s super passionate about: music. After a day of MILES seeing the sights and pounding the pavement, a treat was in order and we were close to the ORIGINAL HRC. It looked calm from the outside, patio was completely dead, and nobody at the outdoor podium, so optimistically we showed ourselves in. Enter the letdown. We were immediately met with two hostesses without a hello, just hostility. Just a “how many.” Shocked, my wife answered, “three of us, we’re hoping for drinks and dessert, is that ok?” One hostile hostess snapped “well, we’ve had a lot of walk-in’s today, and are about to have live music.” I said, “Great, we’d love to get a table, and look at the menu.” She grabs three menus and says “you can sit at the bar, or outside on the patio unless you order more.” We sit at a table adjoining the bar and open the menus. Order three bar drinks and a cheesecake to share. While waiting, I look around the restaurant and count 12+ open four top or more tables, two open seats at the bar, and the complete line of stools in front of the grill completely open. Our server is overtly short tempered with us during the visit, and doesn’t even check back after we dig in to our dessert - just to collect the empty dish and glasses. I politely ask for the check, keep the 12% added optional gratuity on the tab, pay and leave without a “take care” or even a casual or half-hearted “thanks” from our waiter or hostesses. When we returned to our hotel, I curiously check what reservations look for the rest of the evening and they have availability for a party of 3 every 15min until close. There was another customer there, also happening to be enjoying a dessert and drink from the bar - I hope they had a better experience than we did. HRC London Management - this is a coachable opportunity for your front of house folks. Everyone that comes in your front door is an opportunity to meet expectations (which should be the bare minimum) or even go above and beyond when you have the ability when time and staffing allows - for a first timer, a casual tourist, or a lifetime HRC superfan - since they’ve ALL chosen your spot. To give zero and ready to turn away customers (midweek and with open tables all night) is bad business.

We came as tourists and left as friends... This is the motto you can use when visiting this Hard Rock Cafe, although I am of course aware that this is part of the business model. But hey, you can tell whether you're looking at the representative faction or whether people mean it that way. And the latter is conveyed very convincingly here. But what is so special about this restaurant? So the main reason is probably that this Hard Rock Cafe is THE Hard Rock Cafe. This is conveyed to you as soon as you enter and is confirmed without being asked by what feels like 25 different service staff every time you visit the table. I found this employer pride amusing and impressive at the same time. “DAS Hard Rock Cafe” means that this is the first of its kind, i.e. the original Hard Rock Cafe. A veteran of the service named Delia, who is still part of the original line-up of the cafe in the service department and is basically a founding member, also knows this. She is 85 years old, has been working here for around 50 years and has a lot to say about the cafe. She is also a fan of Germany, as she met her childhood sweetheart, who comes from Wiesbaden, while on vacation in Germany. She came to our table a few times and explained the sights of the cafe to us, including guitars and clothing from Jimmy Hendrix and Eric Clapton, some of them behind a glass case. I also now know that the Hardrockcafe was the first fast food restaurant ever in London, where previously there were only pubs. So you can say that the service here is not an add-on but the highlight, something unusual but interesting and entertaining for someone who usually only reviews German restaurants. As in every Hard Rock Cafe, the food is impeccable, i.e. high-quality diner food, but it plays a minor role given the atmosphere in this place. And of course the store is also very expensive, but this probably applies to all locations that are in the catchment area of ​​Buckingham Palace. A note: If you also want to get to know Delia on a trip to London, you should stop by here on Fridays, as she only works there on that day. I can tell you, it's worth it. But all the other service staff are also very talkative and tell lots of interesting things about the cafe, the surrounding area or London. If you want, you basically get a city tour with food. Conclusion: A visit to this Hard Rock Cafe is definitely a must when traveling in London. And no, the saying “If you know one, you know them all” doesn’t apply here. Because it is THE hard rock cafe!

Iconic venue for rock and non-rock fans. Upon entering you can breathe the atmosphere of the great events that marked the history of rock icons. Instruments, clothes, gold records and other memorabilia that make the atmosphere magical. Menu with a wide choice of dishes and drinks, super attentive and kind service. Smash burger well executed and right portions. Highly recommended, to try in every city.

I must say the food was good, the quantities were a little small, friendly service, very nice and helpful waitress, London prices....

The service was really good and the environment is fascinating—paired with the music is chef's kiss. Only problem is the food itself. To be honest the ribs from Sainsbury's (£7) are way better in taste and texture, I had great expectations but the food was very average quality for the price for one person (around £40). Also the shrimp were too salty :/.

As always, had a great time at HRC. It was especially nice to see the 1st one and all the memorabilia. The staff was awesome as well.😎🤘

The Hard Rock Café in the world remains the original, Piccadilly Circus is many times less than this gem... you also notice that this is the original in terms of staff. quiet neighborhood, good music and the food is the same everywhere... I think this could become more differentiated
