A good place to eat, with exquisite food, and wonderful service from the staff, both the woman at the front desk and Roxana, who served us in Spanish (which we greatly appreciated). Definitely highly recommended.

Iconic venue for rock and non-rock fans. Upon entering you can breathe the atmosphere of the great events that marked the history of rock icons. Instruments, clothes, gold records and other memorabilia that make the atmosphere magical. Menu with a wide choice of dishes and drinks, super attentive and kind service. Smash burger well executed and right portions. Highly recommended, to try in every city.

We came as tourists and left as friends... This is the motto you can use when visiting this Hard Rock Cafe, although I am of course aware that this is part of the business model. But hey, you can tell whether you're looking at the representative faction or whether people mean it that way. And the latter is conveyed very convincingly here. But what is so special about this restaurant? So the main reason is probably that this Hard Rock Cafe is THE Hard Rock Cafe. This is conveyed to you as soon as you enter and is confirmed without being asked by what feels like 25 different service staff every time you visit the table. I found this employer pride amusing and impressive at the same time. “DAS Hard Rock Cafe” means that this is the first of its kind, i.e. the original Hard Rock Cafe. A veteran of the service named Delia, who is still part of the original line-up of the cafe in the service department and is basically a founding member, also knows this. She is 85 years old, has been working here for around 50 years and has a lot to say about the cafe. She is also a fan of Germany, as she met her childhood sweetheart, who comes from Wiesbaden, while on vacation in Germany. She came to our table a few times and explained the sights of the cafe to us, including guitars and clothing from Jimmy Hendrix and Eric Clapton, some of them behind a glass case. I also now know that the Hardrockcafe was the first fast food restaurant ever in London, where previously there were only pubs. So you can say that the service here is not an add-on but the highlight, something unusual but interesting and entertaining for someone who usually only reviews German restaurants. As in every Hard Rock Cafe, the food is impeccable, i.e. high-quality diner food, but it plays a minor role given the atmosphere in this place. And of course the store is also very expensive, but this probably applies to all locations that are in the catchment area of ​​Buckingham Palace. A note: If you also want to get to know Delia on a trip to London, you should stop by here on Fridays, as she only works there on that day. I can tell you, it's worth it. But all the other service staff are also very talkative and tell lots of interesting things about the cafe, the surrounding area or London. If you want, you basically get a city tour with food. Conclusion: A visit to this Hard Rock Cafe is definitely a must when traveling in London. And no, the saying “If you know one, you know them all” doesn’t apply here. Because it is THE hard rock cafe!

The service was really good and the environment is fascinating—paired with the music is chef's kiss. Only problem is the food itself. To be honest the ribs from Sainsbury's (£7) are way better in taste and texture, I had great expectations but the food was very average quality for the price for one person (around £40). Also the shrimp were too salty :/.

Great burgers and atmosphere. However, felt ignored by our server Patel, Didn’t ask us if our food was ok and didn’t see him until he presented us with bill and 12.5% service charge added. Would of reduced tip, but didn’t want to make a fuss as husband’s birthday

Service amazing had 25 mins before a bus .we walked in sooke to Gundy he got us a takeaway in less than 20mins even though they were very busy.

Also Vesna was an amazing waitress, she took great care of us, gave recommendations and also shared stories with us. Food and cocktails were delicious, they were really accommodating for gluten free. Food was okay, not like it used to be and nothing special. They had no steak for the fajitas which was disappointing, whilst I understand things happen, it's hard to believe a big chain like this that prides themselves on these famous dishes doesn't have things like that in mass stock. However, the waiter was helpful. Toilets dirty and back of restaurant lacked atmosphere and squashed, couldn't see anything. Not how I remember the Hark Rock growing up. Other restaurants offering better American style diner experience. Disappointing, expensive experience.

The world's first Hard Rock Cafe opened in 1971. In the basement of the shop there is also a great little rock 'n' roll museum with great exhibits. The service was very good and so was the food. Definitely worth a visit!

Every city I visit I go to a Hard Rock shop to buy gifts for myself and my loved ones this time in London I met Claudio, a boy from Palermo who has lived in London for 11 years, very kind and helpful and I also decided to have dinner at Hard Rock and there I met Alex, a very nice waiter who joked with us all the time with my "No Onion" we ate well and had a great time

We had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe on Saturday lunchtime (with a reservation). Very friendly staff. My daughter has celiac disease and had a large selection of gluten-free options. There is even an extra gluten-free menu! The burgers were good, the gluten free bun was very good. For dessert we had the gluten-free brownie with vanilla ice cream. The portion was huge and extremely tasty. Clear recommendation for those affected by celiac disease.

Came here on Valentine's Day for their special menu which was great value although soon added up with the extra drinks and cocktails. Highly recommend this restaurant though. It's truly iconic and has memorabilia from the world's greatest musicians such as The Who, Jeff Beck, Stevie Nicks, Madonna and Eric Claptons guitar which started the whole thing off in the early 70s. The chicken tenders were delicious as was the Smash Burger. The salmon wasn't so good. However will give this 5 stars for the overall experience. Their signature cocktail is so good too. Highly recommend

Hard Rock Cafe in this posh Park Lane location is very good value for money and its been there for decades. Atmosphere is excellent for a restaurant, good value for money considering the location and service was excellent...given by a well trained, efficient guy who had a good sense of humour without being over the top. Very interesting place that must be tried out.

The first HRC opened over 50 years ago. Smaller than the rest in NY, Vegas, Barcelona, ​​Kuala Lumpur and so on. Eric Clapton's first guitar can also be admired here. The decor is typical HRC, cozy and atmospheric. Service staff warm and attentive. Food excellent. Prices raised. Sitting outside is possible with heaters. On the right around the corner there is a taxi stand. Opposite is the shop for shopping. We felt comfortable and would love to come back.

I've been wanting to visit the original Hard Rock for a long time and it didn't disappoint, great atmosphere and staff. Special thanks have to go to Ash, who gave us a great tour of the vault underneath the shop and really brought it alive with stories about the collection and the musicians who had visited or played in the original Cafe.

The food was amazing and so tasty. The portion size was above average and the ribs I had were divine. The waiter was so helpful and gave us plenty of time to choose, not pushy at all. Location was easy to find right next to tube station. Pricey but worth it for a treat.

We visited as part of our school trip with 87 Year 7 pupils. The staff were outstanding and the service was impeccable. The food was brilliant and the kids enjoyed every minute of the meal. The manager was extremely helpful and I would highly recommend this for meal especially for pupils on school trips.

It was ok. Had to wait for our table that wasn’t ready when we had an allotted time. Sat us in a booth that we didn’t fit in. Service was great though. Our server was attentive. Food was mediocre at best. Had to sing happy birthday every 10 seconds which was lovely to start with but got a bit repetitive after the 10th time.

Service was really good, couldn't do enough for you! Everyone we encountered went out their way to make sure my girlfriend was looked after as she is a wheelchair user. It isn't the best place for accessibility but the staff are very aware and help out as best they can. The food was good not great edible but not memorable sadly. We had the brownie for desert it was dry and not soft or hot like you would usually get from a restaurant brownie. The Chicken and Ribs were very similar in taste for some reason. Well done to antentive staff we did enjoy our visit

We called in the late afternoon and there were very few other customers in the restaurant - it was probably about 25% full. Despite that when we asked for a table the host wanted to know if we were going to be having ‘proper meals’ - at that point we hadn’t even seen a menu ! She said that that unless we were then we’d have to be in the bar area. Eventually (and begrudgingly) she gave us a table in the main restaurant area. Everything else from that point on was good - the food was good (we did decide on ‘proper meals’) and our table server was fine too. We can understand wanting to keep tables free for diners if it was full or nearly full - but had there been anywhere else in the vicinity we’d have just walked out after that ‘greeting’ which was totally unnecessary in the circumstances.

I recently had a wonderful experience at Hard Rock Cafe London. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredibly fast. We were seated within 2 minutes of arriving, even without a reservation, and our food arrived at our table in less than 10 minutes. I had booked a table for the back room bar so we could experience the live music and also requested if we could visit the Vault due to us only having a limited time in London with friends from abroad. The management catered for us to do the vault which was amazing and we are very thankful they let us view it. The back room bar is small I expected it to be a bit bigger, the music was ok and the food was great. The drinks were nice but very pricey, I have had better for less but we are in London so was expected. Overall the visit was very good and we enjoyed ourselves. Worth a visit.

Not a great experience at all. I've been to many Hard Rock cafes over the world and this would have to be the worst I've been to hands down.. Booked a table for food..turned up 3/4 hr early only to be told there was no food available because there were problems with the electricity in the kitchen, so the kitchen was closed. Not sure why they didn't message us beforehand so that we could plan to go somewhere else? Staff were standing around not doing much. Was told we could have a drink there though, so we decided to order 2 cocktails as we were there anyway. Whilst waiting for our drinks to be made, I saw the bartender make my pina colada.. mine wasn't filled to the top of the small glass, and there was more left over in the blender. I watched the bartender pour what was left over into another glass to the top, pour some syrup into it and a straw and then started drinking it himself whilst behind the bar!! Another staff member walked by and he quickly moved away from the drink and then once the staff member left he went straight back to drinking it! I could not believe what I was seeing in such a well known cafe.. this wasn't professional at all. I had paid crazy tourist prices .. £29 for 2 cocktails, yet my small glass wasn't filled to the top, yet the bartenders was and he was enjoying his cocktail very much! Won't be going back there again that's for sure! Very unprofessional and not expected for a worldwide reputed brand😠

The only restaurant that will never disappoint me, they have huge selection of dishes and the portion size is big, one plate is enough for 2-3 ppl

1ST Hard Rock Cafe in the World

Exactly what I would expect from an Hard Rock cafe, the quality of the burgers is good, very good deals on the cocktails and nice atmosphere. The unexpected note of the evening for me was the amazing service from our waiter D.J . that really makes our experience memorable, always available and happy to give us all the information on the story of the place, very good knowledge on the food and drinks, always funny in a nice and polite way and very professional, service 10 out of 10

I’m not a review writer, but I really wanted to thank these two employees that I met on January 4th. I came to see Axl Rose’s jacket that had been removed for the new year and an employee kindly took it out of a storage space. I thank him very much for having realized this dream of a little girl that made me cry when I left the restaurant. Special mention to the employee in front of the restaurant who spoke French with whom I could talk but that I did not want to disturb more than that but yet the topics of conversations interested me so much. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful and to have tested the Hard Rock cafe at Piccadilly Circus is very good but I prefer this restaurant there still that is a little less "factory". I will return in early July hoping to see the same staff again. Thank you.

As fans of the brand, it was something very special to experience the parent branch - the place where the history of the Hard Rock Café began in 1971. There was something magical about the moment we entered the café. You immediately feel that you are in a place with a great history. The atmosphere is unique: a successful mix of the classic rock'n'roll spirit and the special London elegance. Memorabilia and iconic memorabilia hang everywhere, telling the long history of music and the Hard Rock Café. It's a feeling that immediately captivates you. Our evening was not only characterized by the special surroundings, but also by excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed as happy to allow us to have this moment as we were. We enjoyed classic hard rock dishes that were cooked to perfection - from the legendary burger to the cocktails, which were as always Highlights were. The feeling of being in this historic place with my wife made the visit an unforgettable experience. We kept looking around, marveling at the memorabilia of rock legends like Eric Clapton and feeling this unique connection between music, history and enjoyment. The Hard Rock Café Old Park Lane is much more than a restaurant - it is a journey through time and a place full of inspiration. We have rarely felt so welcome and at the same time so awestruck to be able to take part in a part of music history. For us, this visit was a highlight that we will certainly never forget. If you want to visit a Hard Rock Café, then it should definitely be this one. We'll be back – without question!

I went there because I like to listen to rock and have a chilli time when u visited London the last year in May. The music, service, beer and environment were lovely.

It's been a few years since I last visited this HRC but it's just as good as I remember. The atmosphere was chilled as it was Friday lunchtime. Our food came fairly quickly along with friendly conversation from our waitress. My Messi chicken burger was amazing and it came with a side of chips which were really good as well. I also had the apple cobbler for dessert and it came with a healthy helping of ice cream.

I was originally hired in 2002 at the Hard Rock Vault in Orlando Florida - they always said it was based after the 'one in London' thats this one, yo! When you land and check into your hotel make this Hard Rock a place you go first - you absolutely will be sitting in the very first one ever and had some of the oldest well loved servers work here - the memo department is next door where the Vault is and thats not to be missed so go here twice once to eat and once to do the tour next door! I cannot wait to return the Customer Service is fun and the energy so very special and historic! It was so nice being back at the job I loved so much - Thank you!

I arrived in London today and had a really crappy day. The service was amazing, despite my mood, polite and encouraging. Which did me good, so a huge thank you to Matt. As for the food, it was once again super delicious and the atmosphere was brilliant as usual, even in the Christmas look.

We reserved a table on NYE at 8:00 PM. At 9:15 PM we were asked to leave because our time was up. We were able to sit at the bottom of the bar. The only disadvantage was that there were no stools. There we were on the street at 9:30 PM. It's really a downer to have to end like this. The service really left a lot to be desired.

It is always a good idea to go to the Hard Rock Café, no matter which city you are in. The waiter was super friendly and attentive to us. He answered all the questions we could have had and was very pleasant. The food arrived quickly and was very good. We recommend 100%. Also, this one is much better than the one in Picadilly, less crowds and more authentic.

Wow what can a place change im sorry to tell you but it isn't the place it once was. We were there 5 years ago and what has it gone down hill. It's called hard rock cafe but they put populair pop songs on what is that about. The food tasted bland and it wasn't wat it once was. Not all was bad the burgers were fine but not for the amount you paid. Really to bad.

It is of course the original HRC, one with history. They are clearly (rightly) proud of it. Excellent design, pretty much what you can expect from an HRC. Unfortunately, I found the service very disappointing, it became completely uncomfortable when I asked whether I really had to pay the service charge. Apparently that was (sort of) mandatory or something. In the end we paid so we could leave. Too bad, it used to be better here.

Food cold small portion never again

Booked by guide your guide and paid in advance with priority seating Arrived there we have priority to enter but not to eat it is the people who have Reserved who have priority so for more than 1 hour of waiting with free tables (5 free tables) I reported it to the lady and she shouted at me above that it's like that I call the manager he doesn't want to reimburse me and strangely he finds us a table right away obviously there were 4 free to eat the gold menu in fact it's the light menu really this restaurant is not recommended going to piccadilly impeccable service the polite smiling servers at the top

This review is for The Hyde Park Hard Rock Cafe. A regular Christmas Eve trip for us and never disappoints. Great service, food and atmosphere. A special mention to Vesna who always gives us the best service and is fantastic. Vesna is a credit to the Hard Rock.
