The waiter was very moody. They refused to do side Indian dishes which they can loose business. The mix vegetables had frozen veg and bland taste. The food was average not great at all. Very tasteless and not good Indian at all. The naan bread wasn't fresh it seemed like packet naan not made in tandoor Honestly speaking don't waste your time coming here. Food taste is shocking and very poor. Go elsewhere. This place is a avoid at all costs I visited with family and at the end of our meal, paid the bill and left. We were not asked to leave and neither did we cause any disruption at the restaurant.

I went here for the first time expecting this restaurant to be good but honestly speaking the food here was not nice at all. The service was bad no one would want to serve you. And talking about food we ordered VEGETABLE momos but what we got was a momo stuffed with steamed onions 😔 That is not what I expect a vegetable momo to be liked If you only put onions in your momos then put on your menu that you sell onion momos not vegetable momos. The guy who served us was not helpful at all 😞 We told him about the food problems but he did not care at all I DO NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone Do not waste your time and money here As per the response I was given, we were NOT asked to leave the restaurant we as a family respectfully payed the bill without causing any disruptions. We did not even complain about anything at the time in the restaurant.

This had the potential of being a great night, however we had to wait almost 2 hours to get all of our 10 meals out 🤬😡, which resulted in cold mains whilst we waited for side dishes - after a family of 4 departed we were the only ones in the restaurant- spoiled the whole evening - they also lost customers as during our dispute with them over the final bill two other groups walked out - they clearly were understaffed to cope with the Bank Holiday weekend - pity because the food could have been so good if it was hot and delivered altogether 😢😢😢

The Food was just Ok.Naans were not fresh.The quantity of dishes was very less not worth of price.The side dish was served in kids portion IKEA bowl. The service was slow.Not recommended.

Best Indian food that I have had in years. Very authentic dishes. Brilliant friendly service. Helpful with my wife’s need to have very non spicy dishes. They have Lassi as well!! Fab.

Food was hot and fresh, and also very tasty. Service was a tad slow, and the music was clearly linked to the waiters phone, so there were adverts and also ‘delivery app notifications’. Never the less, would visit again.

Checked out the menu online, it looks pretty good, decided to give it a go. The place looks nice inside and out. There's a lot of veggie food on offer, decided to go for Gobi 65 and onion bhaji, the former was way too salty, the latter wasn't fully cooked in the middle raw bhaji batter isn't great(they changed it with no hassle) I had Paneer butter masala main, rice and a garlic naan. The closest this dish has seen spices was as it got pushed past the spice shelf in Asda, because I swear it was made there! It looked like a bowl of Campbells tomato soup with lumps paneer in it, it tasted similarly. The garlic naan was definitely out of a packet, it was exactly the one you get from Asda/other supermarkets in a plastic wrapper, no way that was done in a tandoor. The rice was good. £56 for something you could have had in Wetherspoons for a tenner. I definitely won't be going back.

Absolutely amazing food as it says authentic indian food. We ordered masala dosas, vada pav and vegetarian wrap. Completely amazed by the flavours.🤩

Absolutely delicious food. Very good value for money. Very polite and attentive. Some different things from a “typical” Indian menu and we definitely want to come back to try other dishes as the ones we tried were fabulous! Our 8 year old also loved her dal and rice! (There are also chicken nuggets on the menu). Thoroughly recommend. Delicious Indian food.

Came here for lunch after visiting the SS Great Britain. Service was quick and food was excellent, day special was super flavourful. Atmosphere is also great. Great spot!

Had the vegetable biryani with the lentil side dish almost the same as tarka dal but no ghee and a chapati, all very tasty, would very much recommend anyone to visit, will pop in again soon.

Ordered from this place twice now, as they’ve got their takeaway game on point - everything’s sealed up tight with clear labels (no surprise dishes here, no spillages, food still hot!). The real winner - the momos. Absolute perfection. EDIT: So, after my last review raving about their flawless takeaway service and god-tier momos, I went ahead and placed my third order. aaaand guess what? they recognised me! not in a “we’re watching you” way, but in the cutest, most thoughtful way possible. Tucked inside my bag was a handwritten note thanking me for my previous review ...with the real cherry on top, they included a brand-new menu item, fried momos, as a complimentary treat, just to get my take on them. and wow, crispy, golden, and downright addictive. they nailed it. if I wasn’t already a loyal fan, this sealed the deal. sealed-nicely, like their takeaway meals (ill never get over this!)that extra touch made me feel genuinely looked after, and now i have to visit in person instead of just ordering in. can’t wait to experience the full thing, table, ambiance, and, of course, more momos!

Review of Harbourside Desi Kitchen I had the pleasure of visiting Harbourside Desi Kitchen just before Christmas, and the experience was truly fantastic. The restaurant has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. We were a group of three and decided to have lunch. To start, we ordered Methi Na Gota with Safed(White) Kadhi, a popular street food from Gujarat, India. For the mains, Prasham Bhai selected Dal Tadka and Lahsuni Dal paired with Jeera Rice. Meanwhile, my brother, Tanishq, who enjoys sampling Pav Bhaji at various places, decided to order it here as well. To our delight, the Pav Bhaji was exceptional—undoubtedly the best we have had in Bristol. It was so impressive that we ordered it again. The flavors were nostalgic, reminiscent of the authentic Pav Bhaji found in Mumbai, India, which is rare to find in this city. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and efficient. I would rate it a solid 10/10. The food quality exceeded expectations, and the overall experience was outstanding. We usually order Pav Bhaji every month, and this will certainly be our go-to spot for it. Hats off to the chef for delivering such an authentic and flavorful meal. Paneer tikka was worse. The only thing they added was the food colours. Really bad taste. Paneer butter masala was full of sugar. Dal was okay.

First time visit yesterday with my partner and a couple of friends. I loved the food here and service is great and very attentive. All the food had delicious flavour and so enjoyable on its own and blended well together. I highly recommend the butter chicken, garlic naan and egg fried rice. I look forward to coming back and trying further things.

I’ve been before and haven’t had a chance to leave a review. Went on Christmas Day and the service was very good. The food tasted amazing too. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend if you are looking for authentic Indian food. The new menu also has a lot more variety and caters to a wider audience. Will be coming back to try more of the new items

The food was nice and the personal was very polite. They could have chosen a bit more lively music for the Christmas day though. What I didn't like was the service charge. I've never quite managed to undestand why some restaurants use it as it leaves bad taste at the end if not properly announced.

I've just finished eating here and had to leave a review immediately. Honestly, this is probably the best Indian food I've ever had, and indeed some of the best food period. A real surprise, fabulous food - well priced!

We loved the food here! Poppadoms were delicious and spicy, curries were delicious, naan bread was so fluffy, authentic flavour and vibe, we will be coming back again!
