A lovely meal for two to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The restaurant was comfortably busy, early on a Saturday evening. From arrival, everyone was pleasant and helpful. Sophie, our serveuse for the evening was attentive, we didn’t experience any delays and the kitchen was quick to send out orders. I had Ribeye steak, cooked medium as recommended. It was a delight. When presented with the bill we were pleasantly surprised. Can’t honestly fault and will no doubt be returning. Recommended for a supper date.

Mya was lovely and she gave great service the food was absolutely amazing and cane fast on a busy Saturday evening it was perfect and piping hot. The restaurant and bar are such a great atmosphere and all the staff are really lovely, great location as well would definitely recommend !

Awful communication! Booked a table for 20 for Christmas and paid £250 for deposit that they never returned after we paid the whole bill! They don’t pick up the phone or respond to my multiple emails anymore! 4 months later and still no response! DO NOT go to this place for large bookings if you don’t want to be robbed!

Came here today for my birthday bottomless brunch. Party of 20. The pre-day arrangements and organisation was fantastic from GM Kye. The service from the whole team was outstanding. However, a big shout out and praise to our predominant server, Olaf. Very attentive and ensuring glasses and bottles of prosecco were not left empty. The food was also delicious, thank you chef(s). Thank you all for making this a proper lush first experience.

The food and atmosphere were great, but the service was terrible. The waitress was rude, abrupt, and made us feel like an inconvenience just because we were running late, despite being us apologizing. She seemed frustrated and rushed us through our meal, which was incredibly unprofessional. As someone with years of experience in hospitality, I found her attitude embarrassing and completely unacceptable. No matter the time, customers deserve respect, and this experience was a huge letdown.

Had a lovely chilled bottomless brunch here. They’re generous with the Prosecco and the cocktails and food are so good! Our waiter, Kye, was lovely - we are both coeliac so I felt totally safe ordering and he explained the menu to me which was so helpful. Seriously would recommend this place - so much better than anywhere else I’ve been in Bristol for bottomless brunches!

Given a table by the door which wasn't great as it was a very cold evening so didn't stay for desserts!

I had the most amazing time at The Botanist for Bottomless Brunch! The food and drinks were fantastic, but what really made the experience special was our waiter, Kye. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and had such a positive energy that made the whole brunch even more enjoyable. He always made sure our drinks were topped up and took the time to chat with us, making us feel so welcome. It’s rare to find such great service, and Kye truly went above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend!

Was super impressed for the value of the set Valentines' day menu they had on offer. The service was super quick and the place was clean and service was amazing (unfortunately did not get the servers' name however would of given a name shout out!). Booked in on Valentine’s day for my birthday. We went for the Valentines set upgraded meal with wine. The food was amazing, as were the staff, particularly Sophie who was our Waitress. Thank you for making our afternoon and my birthday a special one.

The place looks nice but there is carpet in the restaurant area which is unhygienic. Out of 10 people only 1 person enjoyed their food. The fried squid wasn’t crispy, from the taste and texture the chicken had obviously came out of a packet already cooked and the steak pie and the steaks was described as “edible”. This is obviously not what you want for a birthday party in Clifton where the prices are high. Over all very disappointing food, definitely wouldn’t come to eat again nor would any of the other 10 who attended the party. Would come for a drink in the bar area though

We were lucky to get a table, food was amazing and good value. You can have the option to pay service charge as well, which the team definitely deserve it, but just nice to have that option.

The terrible food is not worth the price at all. We were forgotten by the clerk for half an hour. No one gave us the menu and no one gave us water. The food is terrible and the seasoning is terrible. The food is not well cooked. Listen to my advice, my friend, don't come. We even leave after just taste the food, even though we were very hungry.

The restaurant was quiet but it was a Wednesday night in January. Our table of 6 all had a excellent time enjoying the food and the service was excellent

Disinterested staff. Disappointing roast, not hot enough. Dry roast potatoes, hard overcooked beef. Place smells of air freshener, zero atmosphere. Burger is a terrible vegan offering. Wallpaper was like a pleasant trip.

We had a pleasant dinner here, we had the scallops and fish which was delicious. We also had cocktails which we all enjoyed. The atmosphere was perfect, while it had ambient lighting, above our table there was a spotlight which was perfect for my grandmother. Overall a very nice experience.

Quite expensive but the food is tasty so worth it, we went on a busy day but the service was really bad and they took over 2 hours to serve some orders. Not sure I’d go again but would recommend trying for yourself

Very poor service, we had to keep going up to the bar to.order cocktails, food etc. When we arrived we were the only ones in there. Gave up in the end and moved onto another place. With so many establishments to choose from around there, with much better service wouldn't recommend.

Friday lunchtime Gammon with pineaple and eggs beautifully presented and cooked. A darkly decorated Chic venue. A set prise for 2, or 3, couse nenu with a good choice.

The NYE menu is so much worth it!! 😋😋 And the ambiance is simply perfect! Totally recommended either for a drink or for a good meal.

Perfect spot for a quiet evening! The atmosphere was cozy and quiet, with only a few people. The music set the mood beautifully and the waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and came in generous portions — I tried the linguine with seafood and lamb, both of which were absolutely amazing (pictured). Highly recommend!

Delicious food and great quality drinks

We had a Boxing Day dinner here and was disappointed. The food seemed pre cooked and heated up before serving. The vegetables were cool in the middle and dry. Even the ice cream was icy. Although the service was really good and friendly. (Only photo I got was the dessert)

We came here twice during the Christmas period and the food was good both times as was the service. Bit pricey for wine and was a bit chilly tge first time by the door. Overall a good experience.

This is excellent value for money-bottomless bubbles-unlimited drinks (specific but lovely menu), delicious food and a boujie but comfortable atmosphere. Great friendly service (thank you Sophie!) xx
