Got a roast delivered starters missing bread sauce missing cauliflower cheese missing Yorkshire was rock hard if it wasn't for the cauliflower cheese I made a day before and used and the great quality of the rest of food that did arrive I would of give them a one star 🌟 shame really I think if it all came it would of been excellent

I went to the Botanist for some food and a few drinks. Our server Alfie was brilliant with helping us to decide what was the best to eat and drink. The vibe of the place was great, and the quality of food and drinks were outstanding. Thank you for a lovely afternoon, we will be back!

I visited the Botanist with some friends as it has always been recommended to me as "the place" for great cocktails. Safe to say we were very impressed! The drinks were very tasty, and especially thanks to our server Alfie, who helped us pick out the best ones! He was brilliant from start to finish, and made our experience just that more enjoyable! Thanks!

Had a fantastic evening here the other day. Food was top notch. Big shoutout to Alfie whose service was both friendly and humourous. Furthermore, he couldn’t have been more helpful in recommending the right drinks to suit my taste. I will definitely be back.

Edit: I've been there today and service approved a lot. We was seated straight away and after few minutes we was ready to order and after a minute we order. Today was great. Service was excellent and food was tasty and excellent as well. I love the food , it was fantastic, very tasty and nice. Place inside look amazing, calm and its nice restaurant. Unfortunately after we was seated we was waiting for some to take our order more than an 1h ... after taking order just for drinks , we wait another 30min for different waitress so she took our food order. I was disappointed when waitress told me there were out of food I was waiting to try so I will be back to try it :) (Italian burata.... the dish). Food arrived in few minutes and was very nice and great. I never eat better burger in my live. Overall was good experience but waitresses need be better or more of them ...

My friends and I recently enjoyed a wonderful bottomless brunch at Botanist Bristol, and it was truly a memorable experience, thanks to Adrian. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The food was tasty, with a fantastic selection of brunch classics were spot on. What stood out was our server, Adrian, and his attention to detail and commitment to ensuring we had a great time. He was always nearby, ready to refill our drinks or answer any questions. The bottomless brunch experience was enhanced by Adrian’s professionalism and cheerful attitude. It's clear he takes pride in his work and enjoys making guests feel special. His thoughtful service made our brunch experience relaxing and enjoyable.

A friend and I came for the bottomless brunch. We had a fantastic time, it’s very stylish venue. The food was delicious, and the drinks wonderful. What really made it stand out was the service. We were served by Kye/Kai(?) and he was friendly and attentive - not over bearing at all just helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much, it was a really lovely afternoon out. Would highly recommend.

Sadly, our expectations were in no way met. Having booked for a special family birthday celebration - a particular table requested and guaranteed (the guarantee checked and confirmed one week in advance) - we arrived to be shown to a different table in a different room. We were informed that a subsequent larger booking had usurped our booking and that nothing could be done to rectify the situation - this despite the fact that the other party had not yet arrived. When asked why the other party couldn't be seated in the room we were being offered, no reasonable explanation was given other than that it was not possible. I asked to discuss this with the manager but was told that he wasn't on site. The waitress (this was not her fault and not a nice position for her to be put in) spoke to the manager by phone but it appears he declined to speak with me despite my requests. Ultimately, we were made to feel like second class customers, causing us to leave. Very poor customer service.

We came to the botanist for a hen bottomless brunch and the food and service was fab! Katie was a great waitress, very attentive and friendly. Dirty burger and fried chicken were perfect. The seabass looked great too.

We had a Bottomless Bubbles Lunch for 10, with 1 non drinker. We were all extremely pleased with the service, drinks and food. The staff were fun, friendly, accommodating and attentive.. (particularly our main server in the green shirt with gold, curly hair). The food was great, everyone was pleased with their order, and the portions were generous.. the sea bass was excellent. The drinks kept coming, I was the non drinker and I had an alcohol free version of all the cocktails served, this for me was excellent and made a change from lime and soda! The alcohol cocktails went down well and my friends left very merry. Thank you Botanist. I 100% recommend you.

Kye was so kind to us when we got here! We had prosecco waiting for us when we got here, the service was amazing and we had everything we asked for as quick as we asked! Would absolutely come back here, a great atmosphere and incredible service. If you’re looking for a nice meal out with good vibes this is the place to come!

I love the Botanist and go there regularly. The menu is really varied, the quality of food is good and the service is always great. The atmosphere and aesthetics of the restaurant are also really lovely.

Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon celebrating my daughter's birthday. Staff was very attentive Sunday lunch delicious! The weather was warm enough to sit outside in the seclusion courtyard for pre dinner drinks.

We like to go around having Sunday Dinner a lot around the country, Exeter roast dinner at the Botanist are by a mile, better than the Bristol Botanist we where very disappointed with amounts of veg & roast potatoes, ordered cauliflower cheese extra and it was cold, it was replaced, but by this time i had eaten most of mine,can't fault the gravy and taste just world's apart from your Roast Dinners to other Botanist chains ,kind regards Julian Pincombe⁰

Ordered a dirty vodka martini, was told there is no olive juice at twenty past seven on a Wednesday afternoon. So it's not really a cocktail bar. I ordered a standard cocktail. Was refused as didn't have ingredients available. Very poor service. Is there not a shop in vicinity that sells olives? Wanted to spend my money here but your staff aren't interested

It's got a really fantastic outdoor space and good menu.

Food was ok, I had the calamari which was decent and then the chefs special roast lamb as a main. It was a bit chewy, my wife's comment was the chef needs to learn to cook lamb. Her prawn linguine looked nice and she enjoyed it. Service was friendly and quick and I liked the atmosphere/decor.

Attended a birthday celebration. Sat on the terrace in cramped conditions. The service was too slow, and some of the food was undercooked or very bland.

I came here for a date so I was glad to find the bar was beautiful and had plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The drink I ordered was reasonably priced so I will likely come here again for a drink.

Peebee is such a good waitress, she made us all feel at home and I rate her services profusely. Actually incredible. Food is Michelin level, drinks are tasteful and yummily wummy. There is no parallel in Bristol, in fact this presents macro scale international competition, truly and honestly. If I have made your day better in any way, please do me, yourself, and pb a favour by ordering food and drinks at The Botanist, Bristol!

I got given a mouldy dessert! and wasn’t given a refund or compensation, waitress said “there is always a risk with this” shouldn’t serve it then, absolute disgusting I felt nauseous! My main was cold including the sauce and small was still hungry. They charged us £11 each VAT and the portions were small and slow service. we were also asked to move tables half way through our meal due to a reservation and their poor planning, someone was sick in bathroom from quote “bottomless brunch” brunch! And still hadn’t cleaned it when we arrived at 6pm disgusting place would not recommend when leaving too toilet paper was on the serving floor by our table. Also waitress wanted £30 tip. I have done the review on the day of it happened and seems to be gone…. Did some research turns out restaurants can delete reviews.
