Great staff, great food, great drinks, all with a view!

Great variety of cocktails,loads to choice from on the menu highly recommend great place too sit in the sun. Chris our amazing waiter too made our experience worthwhile. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the bay!

Dog friendly with a good selection of tasty foods. Excellent location with reasonable prices and friendly staff. It’s set away from noisy bars so you can replace and enjoy a meal and the view across the inner harbour.

Came here a year ago and it was absolutely delicious! With this in mind we booked 3 weeks in advance to dine here again whilst staying locally. Almost an hour after ordering we were still waiting for our food, despite watching several other tables (who had arrived much later than us) getting their food. We paid for our drinks and left. No apologies or explanation as to why we hadn’t been served. Very disappointed in our experience 😢

Really great place. More relaxed and a bit quieter noise wise than some surrounding venues which is great. We went on a Saturday evening the place was fully booked but despite that the service was fantastic, checking in on us, quick to get us more drinks and I could see they were like this with every other table. Friendly welcome the second you walk in. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!

My son booked this place for Mothers day for lunch. I had the roast beef and all the trimmings and it was really nice. I thought it was a bit expensive for the lunch but it might have been because it was Mothers day. The only other thing was they didn`t have skimmed or semi-skimmed milk for coffee. The place is clean and tidy and it was busy but not loud. The staff were friendly and happy. great place for lunch on a Sunday.

Ate here last night and had a lovely meal. Service was excellent, waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, lamb rump was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavour. My wife’s steak was lovely but the star of the meal was the gluten free baked Alaska! Very impressive that they were able to do this dessert gluten free. Not a big place and but a little gem. Definitely recommend eating here and we will be back!

110% Must go place in Torquay!!! I nipped in here a few weeks ago simply for a cappuccino and straight away before even ordering. I knew this was going to be our new go-to place. Coffee arrived, and that alone made me realise I need to get back ASAP with my partner. We recently visited here together and went for the 1kg (they offer larger) sharer tomahawk on the bone. It arrived, and the rest is history. This place is now our new favourite for quality & service. We also ended up on the cocktails after the meal, and again, these were very well made. Wow! The food here is amazing -really really good. We had hummus and miso pork belly for starters and then shared the pork belly souvlaki, monkfish bites and the king prawns - we are very impressed and would highly recommend x

Nice atmosphere, good service and great food

We went here on the strength of the reviews on Google. We were not disappointed. The service was great and the food was presented and cook perfectly. Although slightly on the pricey side we accepted the bill having had a great meal.

We have been coming here for a while and it has never disappointed us . From start to finish a relaxed atmosphere delightful food perfectly cooked by chef Dan & a lovely choice of drinks too . Not rushed at all and made to feel special and welcomed ! Keep it up Harbour 16 we will be back .

Another great meal here. This is the third time we’ve been here and we cannot fault the food. It was very quiet the night we came which did affect the atmosphere a bit perhaps but nonetheless a fab evening. Looking forward to our next visit!

What a fantastic restaurant the staff can't do enough for you on the go all the time they absolutely make your dining experience the best thing ever. The food was as good as I have had any where I've been. next time I'm in Torquay it will be top of my list I can't thank them enough for a wonderful evening they really looked after us will be back soon

New years eve dinner here, very good food, great friendly staff

Had a staff xmas dinner here. The staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. Amazing atmosphere all night.

We went as a party of 4. Table was upstairs. A staff member had just fell down the stairs which was proving a bit difficult for the staff understandably. We ordered the starter of belly pork which was such a small portion in a tiny bowl. I ordered chicken souvalki which unfortunately was a mistake. As soon as the plate was set down on the table I smelt something which turned my stomach. I tasted a small bite of the chicken it tasted as it smelt. Waitress offered a new one, as a replacement but I couldn’t eat chicken after that. I then asked for belly pork souvalki which was cooked fresh for me, but ment I sat there whilst rest of the party ate their meal. To be honest I couldn’t stomach much after the chicken. Waitress said the kitchen admitted that they had burnt the herbs but I think the chicken smelt too bad for it to just be that. A friend ordered loaded fries, the Christmas ones. It was a small bowl with the occasional bit of bacon. Sausage, kale cabbage. It was very poor for the money. My friend didn’t want to complain but if it was me I would have! The other 2 ladies had excellent meals, chicken burger & a rump steak. I’ve been there for a Sunday roast & it was SO GOOD! I think the kitchen had an off night! But it was £100 +I didn’t think was worth it.

6 of us went for Sunday lunch the second we walked in we were welcomed on with a smile we sat upstairs service was excellent and very friendly Olivia looked after us with a smile and fast service this was not just a good touch the food was amazing fast fresh and full of taste fabulous place see you soon x

Great cocktails (amazing value at happy hour), delicious food and super friendly staff. Our girls (3 & 7) were raving about the food for weeks after our visit. We came in for my partner's birthday meal expecting big things, and we were not disappointed. H16 grill was a serious feast, and the manager sorted a special surprise dessert. The only shame is we live 2 hours drive away, so can't come back every week. Definitely give them a try!

Fantastic sunday lunch today 1st december 2024. Special was a turkey roast with delicious tasting red cabbage and brussel sprouts and the usual roast trimmings. Great value, our favourite place to eat in Torquay.

My partner and I visited Harbour 16 during a long weekend in Torquay. We are always on the hunt for a good Sunday roast and tripadvisor reviews brought us here. The service was effortless from the minute we walked in, Will was great, friendly and accommodating and Liv also, who checked if we required the heating up and whether we were comfortable enough which was a lovely touch. The food….well we both opted for the lamb and it was stunning. The accompaniments were all absolutely amazing and roasties to die for! This is definitely the best Sunday lunch we’ve had out, the flavour was beautiful and consistent throughout. Equally the service was perfect and we were made to feel very much at home. We ended our meal with the sticky toffee pudding, recommended by Will. It’s was beautiful! Thank you Will and Liv and compliments to the chef. If we’re ever down from Cardiff again, we will definitely return!

Another Delicious meal last night, the steak was perfect and the plaice was the best I've tasted. The staff were excellent as was the atmosphere. Will be back in on our next trip to Torquay.

We stumbled across Harbour 16 in the rain on a Tuesday night looking for some food with our dogs. We were well looked after by Liam as soon as we set foot in the restaurant. My partner had Souvlaki and I had a Steak both were well cooked and delicious. Reggie and Mo our furry idiots got some complimentary treats much to their enjoyment. Excellent service and lovely food we will surely visit again. Thanks again to Liam.

Wonderful friendly service. Food was delicious and professional handling of gluten free requirements. So many places to choose from but to go back again is a no brainer even when only staying for one week in the Torquay area.

The food was 10/10, just perfect, we both had the fillet surf and turf and have different sauces. It was amazing! Cooked perfectly. We had a bottle of champagne 🍾 and it was beautiful. Perfect venue and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Everything was perfect.

Currently sat in this restaurant and it is so good that we felt the need to review it right away. What an absolute gem to Torquay. We have struggled to find the right restaurant for some time around Torquay and Exeter. We certainly will be back. It is so refreshing to see young waiters with such enthusiasm and menu/product knowledge. Plenty of fresh produce and certainly value for money. Food and service were both exquisite. Wow! We spent Friday eve hear for our Anniversary!! It's our 2nd time, staff are so friendly & welcoming. Will was up & down them stairs working so hard. Hope his ankle is okay he was still smiling in pain . The food is excellent , Will told us about the winter spiced pumpkin Expresso martini I was sold !! Amazing it was too . We will be back for sure ...

Great restaurant. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. We had the sharing platter which came with a massive amount of chips, onion rings, mushrooms and a choice of two out of the four sauces. The restaurant itself is in a great location overlooking the harbour and is very smart and clean with seating on two levels and outside. A good mix of punters in when we were there,families with small children, couples and groups of friends all enjoying the great food and excellent service.well done and thank you to all at Harbour 16

We went here tonight for our anniversary 👌. It was our first time visiting and it did not disappoint! The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. Everything was just perfect. The views from the restaurant were stunning. As we were about to pay the bill the staff had made us a suprise desert for our anniversary 💚. Thank you all for making our night perfect. A little gem of a place, we will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends.

Table booking online was easy. We were met with a warm and friendly welcome and seated upstairs quickly. Ordered olives and the pork belly for nibbles/starter. Pork belly was a bit disappointing as only 4 small pieces were served, not value for money! The olives were delicious. Main courses were served and all were fabulous and very tasty. Steak was fantastic. As was the chicken souvlaki. Our children had a burger each which they enjoyed. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Came here for a recommendation for dinner while on holiday to Torquay and what a spot! Fantastic view of the harbour. We sat outside as it was a beautiful evening. Attentive and helpful staff, especially Liam and Olivia, both of which was so helpful with the menu and gave some lovely choices. We loved their specials for drinks, especially the pumpkin espresso martini (you should keep that permanently!). Both had steaks and was cooked perfectly. Both accompanied with 2 different sauces (blue cheese and pink peppercorn - what great additions!). Reasonably priced considering what we ate, the view. Would love to make a return but book before you do! It gets packed quite quickly, but that’s due to its popularity which is a great sign. Thanks again!

Fantastic Sunday Roast. Service was great. Knocked a star off for atmosphere as there were some screaming kids upstairs, but the staff can't be blamed for that. Overall, very impressed..

Food was fantastic - We arrived 15 mins late due to parking and work on harbour. On arrival our waitress immediately informed us the table was only available for a 2 hour block, arriving 15 mins late had used some of that time (this should’ve been enough). Immediately ordered from the ‘Nibbles while you wait’ section and told we probably wouldn’t have time. Multiple unnecessary reminders followed throughout the course of the meal. As it happened we finished eating well ahead of their deadline, plenty of tables were free and we still had time for cocktails. Very disappointing to spend over £100 on a meal feel constantly rushed to leave, a relaxed atmosphere is part of a good dining experience and there are better ways of moving customers along quickly.

The best Sunday Lunch I've had in years. Meats superb, lamb tasted of real 🐑. The veg was perfect and imaginative with heritage carrots, perfect gravy and YORKIE PUDS. Brill. G

All other places were super busy and this restaurant was very quiet - so we walked in and asked to view the menus to which the guy at the door looked at us and said “we are fully booked tonight” we accepted this and left as maybe they were about to get busy. We went and ate elsewhere. Walking back around an hour later - there were even less people and the man was just stood out the front looking bored. Obviously just didn’t like the look of us. I am glad we didn’t support Such a judgemental business. For reference I was wearing a summery shirt with a long skirt so it’s not like we were trying to get in with swimwear (there was also only 2 of us)

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was incredibly overpriced for what it was. Steaks overcooked, chicken dry, garlic butter tasting of nothing, very little seasoning. Starters tasted nice, but the chorizo one was a most unappetising looking dish. Shame, place has potential, but it was really a disappointment.

The lunchtime deal was lovely. Amazing steak flatbread I can recommend.

Sat outside in the sunshine early evening serving staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent we had hulumi and squid starters followed by Prawn Linguini and Beef and Pork Belly burger. Everything was really tasty

I came to Harbour 16 with a client on Tuesday evening for a meal on the harbour. We had a lovely spot in the sun outside. The meal was very good the waiting staff hit the right spot of being always available but not overly attentive. What really caused me to write a review was the ethics of the waiting staff. I'd had a problem paying with my card, so paid cash - £105, two £50 notes and a £5. As I was leaving I was told I'd paid two much, as what I thought had been two £50 notes was in fact 3. I wouldn't have realised if they'd kept the money, but they didn't, I was really taken aback and delighted by their integrity. I will be coming back and we'll hold a staff party at Harbour 16 at some point in the future, all because of this positive incident. Thank you again. Alex

Really good food and a nice place to sit and have food with friendly staff. Only thing it is a bit expensive for what it is eg over 10 pounds for just a burger and more then for fries and a drink etc. All adds up quickly and although it's nice food I don't think wed come back for the price of what you get

Went to night 13 may 2024 my 60th birthday we were the only people in there food was amazing girl who served us was great ribeye steak I had was the best I've had cooked perfect cocktails were great fantastic birthday meal

Just ok. Underwhelmed. Waiter put fingers in glasses when he bought water to table. Cutlery being moved on table not by handles. Little things to some people but all the same.

Had a lovely meal today, thankyou harbour 16. Best Nacho's ever. What can I say, Quality. I am a Nacho's connoisseur and these have to be the best Nacho's in the bay.

Absolutely incredible venue, interior looks gorge, music was on point. Food was fantastic; delicious and well presented. Service from Gracie was immaculate and she ran the floor by herself, but despite how busy it was she managed to remain attentive to all the guests. We also really enjoyed the unique cocktails they had to offer, will be back if I'm ever in Torquay again

Went here later in the evening for Mother's day. Sat upstairs in a cosy corner. Lovely decor and staff were very welcoming and smiley. Food was lovely and desserts divine. Will come again.

FABULOUS SUNDAY LUNCH They even made a dairy free Yorkshire pudding. Good choice of meat and masses of lovely vegetables. Super friendly and helpful staff, good beer and wine selection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

11 of us went for a meal here last Saturday and we all said food was fabulous thank you very much lovely steaks We will return

Adult meals were fine but the kids burgers were dry and tough. We were the only people in the restaurant but the staff never offered another drink when we received our meal. When finished waited 10 minutes and no one came to see how we were doing, ended going to the till to get the bill ourselves.

My partner and myself came here for a late valentines meal tonight after a suggestion from a friend, and we could not have been more impressed. We were served by Olivia who was nothing short of perfect - funny, chatty and so so lovely. We both ordered starters which were cooked to perfection, and I ordered the ribeye for my main, which was outstanding. After telling Olivia that we were there for a valentines meal, she made some couples suggestions, as well as giving us both a rose when we had eventually finished our meal. This was honestly some of the best service both of us have ever received, and we will 100% be coming back again! The rest of the staff were also so lovely, and we genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing. Long story short I think I’d recommend!

Have just come back from a lovely family meal at Harbour16. We chose this place for a Sunday evening meal whilst visiting Torquay and based our choice upon reading Trip advisor reviews and the place did not disappoint. The food was excellent ( best burger I have ever eaten) , the steak was beautiful and the children’s food was fresh and excellent. Upon arriving we soon established there was a large birthday party going on upstairs and I would say that was the only downside to the evening as they were pretty loud. For some reason there was a couple dining upstairs during this party ( not sure why they were upstairs as there were empty tables downstairs) but I felt for them as they had to endure the rowdiness of the party and when they came downstairs to pay, they said it was pretty out of control. With 2 small children, I was a bit nervous visiting the upstairs toilets near where the party was but I trusted the staff to make it a safe environment for us. The 2 staff on duty handled it all very well and I applaud them for their attentiveness towards us and the other downstairs diners despite having their hands full with the party. We loved the food and will definitely return when we visit Torquay again. Our compliments to the chefs and staff on tonight and thank you for a lovely meal.

My favourite place to eat in the bay!

The food is absolutely amazing, lovely quality steak well cooked, delicious homemade sauces, excellent sides - best onion rings I've ever had!! - and incredible homemade desserts - the sticky toffee pudding was insane!! - would recommend Harbour 16 to anyone. Also Meg is a lovely server, friendly, polite, and hardworking. One of the best restaurants in Torbay!!

Looked on TA as our favourite Thai was closed and only visit Torquay occasionally. Harbour 16 came up 5th and had great reviews so we gave it a go! We had pork belly & chorizo starters followed by steaky chips and chicken souvlaki. All of the food was delicious and the cocktails topped it off. The raspberry daiquiris were amazing and the Hugo was so refreshing. We’ll be back on our next visit
