Turkish Kebab & Pizza in Torbay

We had an incredible dinner at this restaurant in Torquay, and I honestly have no words to describe how amazing their food and service were! The chicken kebab was perfectly seasoned and juicy, the chips were crispy, and the bread was fresh and delicious—everything was just perfect. The owner, Erol, and a lovely lady were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely visit again when we come to Torquay. Highly recommended

Omg ! The best kebab ever !!! Delivered fresh & hot. Chicken & doner cooked to perfection, lovely fresh salad and sauces. And a proper Turkish bread served with it not just a pitta bread. Chips were crispy and had an amazing flavoring on. Delivery guy was lovely, definitely a service with a smile. They even popped a a garlic sauce for us to try , which was lovely. I had to phone them after we had eaten to say how much we enjoyed the food and will be 100% be ordering again

I never write reviews, I moved from London to Torquay a year ago, and this is by far the best chicken shish I’ve ever had, I’ve only just finished eating it and I was itching just to leave a review

This has become our new favourite kebab takeaway in Torbay! The food is absolutely lovely, and we couldn’t be happier with our meal. It’s a friendly, family-owned business, and the shop is spotless and very well-kept. Highly recommend giving them a try – we’ll definitely be back again soon. As for the 1-star reviews, they’re complete nonsense and don’t reflect our experience at all!

I couldn’t find enough words to describe how satisfied we are after a family lunch indoor. I can quite confidently say it’s the best kebab restaurant not only in the town but also areas around Torquay! The staff (Mr Arol and Anna) are amazing and the food is super delicious. It’s been my favorite place since I moved here. The chicken kebab is so unique as well as the home made bread and the fresh green salad! My kids quite liked the Pizza and Baklava was special 😋 The restaurant is super clean and cozy! The prices are very reasonable! I would definitely recommend it and come back again!

By far the best kebabs in the bay. The quality of the meat is fantastic, the portions are huge and the service… EXCEPTIONAL! I don’t know his name but I assume he is the owner of this business and he goes above and beyond. An absolute delight of man, so friendly and his chips are amazing 😉 Wouldn’t go to any other kebab shop ever again. 10 stars!! 🌟

Called in while visiting my elderly mother for a cold drink and a taxi number. The owner rang a taxi for us which had a 45 minute wait so he gave us a lift in his own car! He would not accept any money off us. We were overwhelmed by his act of kindness and we won't forget him in a hurry....thankyou so much...you're a star ✨️

Best kebab we’ve had in a long time and extremely generous portions…I dread to think how big the large is! Love the homemade flatbread and garlic yogurt sauce. Will definitely order again.

Hubby fancied a Chinese but they were all closed, so decided on a kebab. Looked up nearby kebab places and this one had the best reviews by far. Had it delivered which was relatively quick. We seldom have takeaways due to cost and being often disappointed with quality and quantity in the past. Not this time. Plenty of food, delivered hot by a very friendly guy and it was absolutely delicious. This is now our new favourite takeaway restaurant and we will be highly recommending it to others.

The Turkish Kebab And Pizza Shop is a lovely place to get your takeaway. I personally find that the owners are always cheerful yet focused on creating their food for us to enjoy. I would highly recommend for you to have some food here.

Looks like all the reviews are fake, the food is no where close to turkish. Have ordered a chicken pizza and chicken wrap even a dog would refuse to eat. Really pricey and all the food went to waste sadly. Please please avoid wasting your money and health by visiting this place. The man is a con (liar) artist.

What a legend this man is that owns the shop, he's willing to go that extra mile. Food was brilliant massive portions love the fact the kebab meat was well drained of oil and also the chillie sauce was home made. Gonna be my new home from now on. You'll be crazy not to try this kebab , I look forward to trying there pizza next and burgers

Just arrived on holiday to find the oven not working. Scanned through Google and ordered from here, based purely on reviews. Called in the order and the gentleman was so helpful and pleasant on the phone. We collected the order and everyone is so nice and couldn't help enough. Food was great. Couldn't recommend this place enough best kebab i have ever had in the uk all fresh and homemade and fast service and lovely man ... not your usual kebab so light and fresh and delicious light flatbreads ... make sure you go here you won't regret it ,we had the chicken and lamb mixed with the fresh chilli sauce which is homemade too delicious we had the regular size and an extra flatbread which was plenty for us 2 ,ty we will be back again.

Our food was fantastic, first order for us and we would definitely order again. Fries were hot and crispy, not soggy like most places, kebab was superb quality, salad was fresh, home made dips were delicious. Very impressed!

Second time we’ve been here but was too busy to leave a review last time. Whilst waiting for our order the owner bought us over a plate of fresh food which was very very nice. I’m not just saying this but the food is fresh and gorgeous. Really nice place and the staff are polite, welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be returning. Edit: went back today :) Erol and Anna-Marie are very nice people. This is a genuine review before anyone asks. If you haven’t tried this place my advice is, you won’t regret eating from here. There are loads of food points but the one for me is everything, even the bread, is fresh. The salad the meat the lot and you’re made to feel welcome. Not many places like this exist anymore.

The food was well priced and big portions, as far as I know it is all home made food and I could tell that even the pitta bread was freshly made and well cooked. I had high hopes after seeing all the great reviews, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. While the food arrived on time, the kebab meat was tough and had hard edges, almost like it had been sitting for a while. The pizza was nothing spectacular it was okay. I had expected more based on the positive reviews.

Really excellent! Hot, tasty and the pizza wasn't greasy. Ordered a tray of donner for fiancee on the carnivore diet and got a really nice big portion which is hard to find. Will definitely be using again.
