Turkish Kebab & Pizza in Torbay

Called in while visiting my elderly mother for a cold drink and a taxi number. The owner rang a taxi for us which had a 45 minute wait so he gave us a lift in his own car! He would not accept any money off us. We were overwhelmed by his act of kindness and we won't forget him in a hurry....thankyou so much...you're a star ✨️

Best kebab we’ve had in a long time and extremely generous portions…I dread to think how big the large is! Love the homemade flatbread and garlic yogurt sauce. Will definitely order again.

Hubby fancied a Chinese but they were all closed, so decided on a kebab. Looked up nearby kebab places and this one had the best reviews by far. Had it delivered which was relatively quick. We seldom have takeaways due to cost and being often disappointed with quality and quantity in the past. Not this time. Plenty of food, delivered hot by a very friendly guy and it was absolutely delicious. This is now our new favourite takeaway restaurant and we will be highly recommending it to others.

The owners were very friendly, fast service and you get your money's worth! One of the workers also came and gave each of us some baklava (which tasted amazing), on the house! And the homemade garlic sauce is delicious 😋 Definitely recommend🤩

The Turkish Kebab And Pizza Shop is a lovely place to get your takeaway. I personally find that the owners are always cheerful yet focused on creating their food for us to enjoy. I would highly recommend for you to have some food here.

Looks like all the reviews are fake, the food is no where close to turkish. Have ordered a chicken pizza and chicken wrap even a dog would refuse to eat. Really pricey and all the food went to waste sadly. Please please avoid wasting your money and health by visiting this place. The man is a con (liar) artist.

What a legend this man is that owns the shop, he's willing to go that extra mile. Food was brilliant massive portions love the fact the kebab meat was well drained of oil and also the chillie sauce was home made. Gonna be my new home from now on. You'll be crazy not to try this kebab , I look forward to trying there pizza next and burgers

Just arrived on holiday to find the oven not working. Scanned through Google and ordered from here, based purely on reviews. Called in the order and the gentleman was so helpful and pleasant on the phone. We collected the order and everyone is so nice and couldn't help enough. Food was great. Portion sizes were really good. Thank you.

Couldn't recommend this place enough best kebab i have ever had in the uk all fresh and homemade and fast service and lovely man ... not your usual kebab so light and fresh and delicious light flatbreads ... make sure you go here you won't regret it ,we had the chicken and lamb mixed with the fresh chilli sauce which is homemade too delicious we had the regular size and an extra flatbread which was plenty for us 2 ,ty we will be back again.

Our food was fantastic, first order for us and we would definitely order again. Fries were hot and crispy, not soggy like most places, kebab was superb quality, salad was fresh, home made dips were delicious. Very impressed!

Second time we’ve been here but was too busy to leave a review last time. Whilst waiting for our order the owner bought us over a plate of fresh food which was very very nice. I’m not just saying this but the food is fresh and gorgeous. Really nice place and the staff are polite, welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be returning. Edit: went back today :) Erol and Anna-Marie are very nice people. This is a genuine review before anyone asks. If you haven’t tried this place my advice is, you won’t regret eating from here. There are loads of food points but the one for me is everything, even the bread, is fresh. The salad the meat the lot and you’re made to feel welcome. Not many places like this exist anymore.

First time ordering from here and it was outstanding. The man on the phone seemed very passionate about his restaurant & friendly. The food was well priced and big portions, as far as I know it is all home made food and I could tell that even the pitta bread was freshly made and well cooked. The flavours in the food were amazing and not too spicy but just right, I will definitely be ordering from here again and recommending them to friends & family, thankyou! :)

I had high hopes after seeing all the great reviews, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. While the food arrived on time, the kebab meat was tough and had hard edges, almost like it had been sitting for a while. The pizza was nothing spectacular it was okay. I had expected more based on the positive reviews.

Really excellent! Hot, tasty and the pizza wasn't greasy. Ordered a tray of donner for fiancee on the carnivore diet and got a really nice big portion which is hard to find. Will definitely be using again.

So I contacted Turkish kebab and pizza and the man I spoke to was so professional and dealt with the situation promptly sent me out some new food he was very respectful and apologetic on behalf of justeatt even though it wasn’t his fault I would highly recommend and it the good tasted phenomenal hope you all have a wonderful day thank you for my food!

Had a large Doner kebab tonight, just about the best I've had! Homemade fresh pitta bread and sauces, everything was just really fresh, and the kebab meat was not at all greasy, but really tasty. Fries were hot and crispy, just how they should be. Will definitely be back!! 👍

Very nice food and staff. First time to visit and dine in but 100 percent for sure not the last time if I find myself in Torquay. Looked after by staff. Can certainly advise the food is fine we had chicken and doner, salad, sauces and home made bread.

Decent pizza's and garlic bread, the service was quick and the staff were friendly. Will return here next time we visit Torquay.

Had a lovely night out, thought I would order a kebab for the two of us, what arrived was on time, however the donner kebab tasted as though the meat had been sliced and kept warm for days, dry texture and tough, crusty round the edges. If this was just a kebab it would be excusable, however it was a large kebab, a large chicken kebab and pizza. In total £30 with some chips. Pizza was missing, and the rest was on the whole inedible and expensive for Never had crispy meat until now. Would avoid.

Without a doubt the best kebab/burger shop in Torquay. We have ordered a fair few times now and the food is beautiful. The only thing I will say is i would order directly instead of using just eat the food comes hotter and fresher plus the staff are lovely and friendly. Stanbury road.

As this was the first time we've used Turkish kebab and pizza I was unsure what to expect. We were both pleased with our orders and portion size. We had kebabs, lamb, chicken and kofta. The homemade yoghurt and flat bread made it feel authentic. Very tasty, thank you.

Service good. The cook on the pizza was spot on! Crispy base... really cooked well. Ingredients where not of the highest quality... boss man standard
