Fabulous food, waitress very helpful so don't over order! As wanted ti taste everything. Could definitely eat the mushrooms not sure why the di a portion of 3 when there are 2 diners ? As could eat 3 by 1 person 😋

We visited Whitstable this weekend and had heard of Harbour Street Tapas on Instagram, so made a beeline for the restaurant last night. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was fantastic from the minute we walked through the doors, and was matched by friendly service and amazing food. My only complaint was that I couldn’t fit more in, so I could try more of the dishes! Will definitely be back

Finally had a meet up and visit to Lee's vaunted establishment. Def worth the wait. All the food was delish, especially the lamb meatballs and the patatas bravas. Great saucing on each of these. We enjoyed the bread and olives too. Would have loved desert but too full The first but not the last visit. Bravo.

Amazing authentic Spanish tapas. Really tasty and would recommend. Between 4 of us we had 10 dishes, 2 glasses of wine, 2 beers and sparkling water and cost £184. all the food was great but my favourite dish was the mushroom croquettes, absolutely delicious. The menu changes regularly, and there are plenty of vegetarian options. We also had enough space for 2 prams. There is no parking, but there are local carparks nearby.

Pre-booked a table (a must on a Sunday) at this light and airy restaurant in the main part of Whitstable. Service was prompt and friendly, food was really v good. Would recommend the padron peppers. Other standouts were: king prawns, chorizo with honey, the sea bass and the cheesecake dessert. Three of us ate (6 tapas dishes + 2 desserts) and had drinks for £105. Would recommend and return.

It was an amazing experience. The food quality and quantity were amazing. Especially ‘Lucy’ made it so easy to navigate through menu and helped us get the best wine for our lunch. Definitely recommend. Amazing staff’ especially Lucy and others. ❤️

Three of us are here sat 14th September, it was amazing , prawn croquettes, hummus, pan con tomato, all outstanding and so fresh , then squid, chicken thighs and tortilla , phenomenal! And ambience and service was top drawer, well done to you all

Tapas style small plates is our thing and we LOVED it here. We possibly over ordered with 6 plates between two of us but everything was amazing. The hummus was so creamy, the chicken thighs crisped to perfection and the ribs were the best we’ve ever had anywhere. Although we were full, we shared a gigantic slab of basque cheesecake which was also incredible. Service was attentive and the food was served super quick - this restaurant is a well oiled machine!

Date night and a return visit to this restaurant. The food was excellent and well priced and the octopus special was sooooo good that we ordered a second plate. Service is friendly The restaurant is small so you do need to book.

Had impromptu dinner here last night and couldn’t be more impressed! Food was absolutely spot on, everything was delicious. Service was great, plates were delivered to the table with great timing. Highly recommend and would love to eat here again.

My favourite dinner spot in Whitstable. Food is always incredible and even with big groups they deliver excellent service. Huge thanks to Nancy for going the extra mile with our party of 15 this evening. Even our 1 year old felt welcomed and special!

We had a lovely meal last night with our family on holiday. Would definitely recommend coming here. Our favourite dishes were the Jamon croquettes, calamari and the tomato bread.

Some of the best Spanish food I’ve ever had. Took our 11-week-old puppy in and had a fantastic meal. Chicken thighs, sardines, tortilla, olives, tomato salad all incredible. Possibly the best tortilla I’ve had. Very nice ambiance too. Relaxed but felt special. Will definitely be back!

Only in Whitstable for 2 nights. Went to Harbour Street Tapas tonight and seriously wrestling with whether we go back again tomorrow. Really delicious. The honey/chilli chorizo was amazing.

We visited on Wednesday evening the staff were superb we sat upstairs this was a very nice environment the drinks excellent and all the tapas plates excellent the only one disappointment were the calamare which not cooked particularly well you couldn’t taste the fish just a very hard crunchy batter flavored very severely with smoked paprika Apart from this excellent excellent and will return

We had a lovely meal for 4, everything is served as it is cooked so it is all fresh.

Had a great birthday meal here. We were a party of seven and all enjoyed our food. Service was good and tapas was freshly prepared and very tasty. Highly recommend a visit if you're in town. Wish it was near to where I live, and will return on my next stay.

The restaurant is quite simple but nice, the male staff could do with some refreshing courses on customer service, they seem somewhat unhappy. Overall the service was satisfactory, the food was clearly fresh and of good quality ingredients prepared with care, presentation is somewhat simple but effective. The downside is the quantity Vs the price which is significantly disproportionate (see photo) 1 octopus tapas £18:00.

Luckily we managed to get a table in this busy little restaurant. We were welcomed by friendly staff that provided recommendations and informed us of specials. We had a great selection of dishes and I honestly couldn't pick a favourite, they were all amazing.

Perfect in every way! Fabulous food and great service - they genuinely care about their customers. There are so many eateries in Whitstable but this place is well worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Always amazing food and service the best tapas.

The food was very tasty, not overly expensive but the portions are too large to be described as tapas. I did mention this to the staff in relation to the chorizo in honey, which is very nice but the portion even for two is too large. Smaller portions with smaller prices would allow folk to sample more dishes rather than having what almost amounts to a normal meal. Great service and a nice location by the way.

Possibly the best tapas I've ever had outside of Spain! Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere here. The octopus and chicken thighs were immense!

Called to make an enquiry and the phone was answered by someone who continued talking to someone else for a while, then yelled TAPAS at me a couple of times. He proceeded to answer my question in a flippant and surly manner while eating all the time. Decided not to go.

We love the Harbour Street Tapas and go often. The food is amazing as is the service and wine! This Sunday we did their Sunday Feast. It was absolutely spectacular, amazing chicken and fish but the start was the carrots in butter bean puree with honey..still dreaming about them now!! I’m looking forward to the next one!!!

Great Tapas restaurant in Whitstable. Well, it's worth a visit if you are in the town.

A great restaurant! We always come here for dinner during our twice yearly visits to Whitstable. The staff are super friendly: in the past they have been very helpful with making the place accessible to my frail in-laws who are in their seventies and - more recently - were great about accommodating our pram so that our 5 month old daughter could be tableside whilst we dined. We’re big fans of all things Spanish and eat tapas regularly. The meatballs, chorizo, and patatas bravas are the best we have had in the UK. The Basque cheesecake is utterly incredible and so soft that it’s akin to eating a cloud!

What a lovely find in Whitstable. We stumbled across this unassuming looking restaurant tucked away, and we couldn't be happier. The service staff were welcoming and gave great advice with what we should pick and how much. The stand outs for us were the lemon chicken, the honey glazed chorizo (incredible, but definitely a dish to share, the honey sauce was delicious), and the basque cheesecake was wonderful to finish on.

After looking for spanish restaurants in the área, I have to say that this is the best one that I found so far in Kent. The food was amazing, I started with the ham croquetas and they were really authentic, delicious have to say, even better than in some places in Spain. Then I tried the bravas, although they were good, i don't think is their best dish, the tomato was dominant in all the sauces, however in a real ones, there is a mix of spicy oil/tomatoe (thats why they are called bravas) and alioli, the alioli they were using was pretty flat and didn't have much taste, I think If they change the sauces it would be brilliant. Then I tried the octopus and potatoes wich was nicely cooked, only thing to say is that there wasn't too much octopus in the portion, which is a bit disappointing looking at the price. And finally I tried the Spanish tortilla, they do it in betanzos style and it was good, however due to the price I was expecting a bigger portion... but not complaining is an amazing spanish restaurant that I would really recommend to try. Came here for lunch following a recommendation. We had booked and the place filled up quickly. The food was fantastic. The prawn croquettas were particularly good as was the Iberica ham. The fried squid was probably the best we've ever tried and the pan fried squid special was absolutely delicious. Really lovely service. Can't wait to go back

I was recommended Harbour Street Tapas ages ago and I finally got to visit and WOW I was not disappointed!😍 First of all, the location. It’s right on the coast in North East Kent, so the great place to eat on a day out. Secondly, and most importantly, THE FOOD! Everything was delicious. And I must say, the best chorizo I’ve ever had😋 We managed to get a walk in table but it seemed to get pretty busy after us so I’d recommend booking! This is our favourite go to place don't get out much 😒 so it's always an occasion last time about 2 weeks ago it was our anniversary again fab as was the service unfortunately didn't get the waitresses names so can't give a shout out to them but highly recommend u do have do book as this place is very popular hoping to come in November for my birthday xx well done everybody u do Whitstable proud!

Went here as a walk in and wasn't disappointed! Food was excellent and staff very attentive . We had the ribs, prawns , potato braves and croquettes and hummus , waayy too much to finish between two of us . Made room for the delicious cheesecake though ! We are visiting whitstable for a week and plan on returning before the week is up !

Came here for lunch on the fly and had a seat upstairs. Not quite as nice an atmosphere as downstairs which was bustling, but happy they managed to seat us. Everything we ordered was great, including the tortilla and the great drinks options.

Top tier tapas - as good as anything I have had in London or Madrid. Our dishes were absolutely perfect. Great service too.

Has to be some of the best tapas we have ever had. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly! The staff were super accommodating for our daughter and stroller. Make sure to book in and go here if you're ever in Whitstable!

Great food at reasonable prices. The tapas were really nice and the tortilla was one of the best I ever had. They have a decent selection of wines and if fancy a beer try the Estrella Galicia which is a great lager. The staff is also friendly which is always a pleasure. Don’t miss it if you’re in Whitstable.

I think a lot of reviews have covered what's great about this spot - the food is DELICIOUS. A range of the tapas dishes are very, very moorish... and very dangerous for this reason! It's easy to keep ordering and ordering! This is a place a lot of locals know and hold in high regard, and it's no surprise at all. Highly recommended!

Authentic little tapas place in the heart of Harbour Street, serving delicious dishes such as Padron Peppers, Patatas Bravas, Fried Squid, Chorizo and Lamb Cutlets. The olives were big and well marinated and the house red was fantastic. Service was fast, attentive and friendly. Would have given it 5 stars but it was frustrating that they have a no dogs policy. I will be back but not as regularly as other places in Whitstable that do allow dogs.
