Good Ice Cream, But Skimpy on Portions The ambiance at harbour delights was inviting, and the variety of flavors did not disappoint. However, the portion sizes left something to be desired. It might just be the smallest scoop I've ever had in the UK. The quality of the ice cream was good, but when you're paying a premium, you'd expect a more generous serving. The staff was polite but didn't make up for the stingy scoops. If you're not super hungry and just want to sample some decent flavors, this place is okay. But if you're looking for value for your money, you might want to look elsewhere.

We had crepes and ice cream. Portions were very large - in fact the two scoop ice cream was too overwhelming and we wished we had only asked for one scoop. However everything was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. Prices were steep - but you do get a good size portion for your money. We would prefer to cut portions sizes and prices accordingly. I’d recommend sharing where possible.

Very overpriced for basic ice cream...the lady put an oversized scoop on a cone for our 5year old and it fell straight on the floor and she point blank refused to give another scoop!

Amazing milkshake from here, love the choose your own options for everything as a lot of the time I might not want something from the listed items in that order. Ordered myself the lemon and sugar crepe, so much lemon put on it. Might be the first time ever I've ordered one that had too much lemon on it.

Order x12 mini donuts for around £6 and they were microwaved! Not good enough, I'd expect these freshly made for these prices!

The ice cream was quite good, the scoops are huge but can also be more expensive. The cookies were quite hard

Very dissapointing service. Within 2 seconds of ordering, the lady behind the till passed us my 4 year old's ice cream which dropped out of the cone straight on the floor. With no ice cream evident in the cone you could see, it had not been pressed in at all. I politely asked for a replacement scoop and was told to pay for one if I want one. I explained that it was just a small scoop that could have easily been replaced and I'm sure insurance covers those small amounts and I don't want to leave my 4 year old upset on the first day of her holiday. She refused, so I asked for the manager. The next lady came and said I don't have the authority to replace scoops and the manager would say the same thing. I then paid again and said that I didn't want the rest of the ice creams that I was yet to be handed. Unfortunately, they have lost my custom for the rest of my summers in St.Ives. Poor service, understanding and friendliness.

We only went here because it is the only dessert shop open later than 8pm in high season. We actually wanted a sweet treat from Jus' Desserts up the harbour but it was closed, so resorted here after having dinner out in town. The shop is run by 16 year olds who haven't a care in the world - no urgency or passion whatsoever. We ordered 4 ice cream cookie sandwiches, totalling £22. The front of house girl was sweet if clueless; she writes down the orders and gives it to the rest of the team, and then takes payment. We patiently waited 25 minutes before saying something - how long does it take to scoop some ice cream and wedge it between 2 cookies with some chocolate sauce? I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I naively thought they might be making the cookies from scratch... of course not! The cookies are in the back turning stale, waiting to be used. It turns out the piece of paper with my order on hadn't been passed onto the team member who assembles the overpriced cookie sandwiches (£5.50 for 2 cookies and 2 scoops of ice cream). After alerting the front of house girl that we hadn't received our order it was clear the shop is chaotically run with no order or control. Although the dessert was delicious, it wasn't worth waiting 29 minutes in total to receive, as it was gone 10pm, dark and raining by the time it was ready. I won't be coming back. Definitely better dessert shops along the harbour/The Wharf. It does well by being open later than its competitors, so don't let the queues and crowds in the evenings fool you!

Got an icecream on a cone, took two steps and a seagull took it (suave move from the seagull), the staff person saw it happen, no warning, no sympathy, had to pay for a replacement. Some decent customer relations would be in order.

Loved your food. There were 6 of us 2(very fussy in-laws!!) We had crepes and a doughnut thing and oh my gosh it was all delicious and my in-laws are usually rude and prefer finer dining but they have been in since alone (they are locals).

Unbelievable prices, £6 for a crepe!! They are seriously taking advantage of location which is right by the harbour side on the main drag through at Ives. The only place without a queue and obvious why really, crazy expensive compared to most other places and really just average food

Had the rhubarb & custard and bubblegum ice cream. More expensive than some other ice cream places in town, but the scoops were massive! So I was happy :) had to remind the scoop boy that we needed to pay, I think he would’ve let us walk away otherwise lol

Well.. to say the place is run by children is an understatement. We were asked 3 times what our order was, by the time the second waffle was given to us the other had melted. Should have seen it coming as the customer before us said how poor the customer service was. Considering there was a group of girls in the back playing with the whipped cream, it probably explains why the food took so long. It’s a shame as the food is nice (even though only one of our orders had the right ingredients!)

Lovely menu options, polite staff and generous portions🍦 Would 100% recommend asking about staff favourites as although some of their favourites are not on the menu the staff are always happy to accommodate and willing to share their ideas with customers! Had a Nutella and marshmallow crepe. The crepe was tough and chewy, tasted like it had been reheated, not made fresh, and the marshmallows weren't great either, thankfully the Nutella was good so that slightly redeemed it 😔 Husband enjoyed the ice cream though, very generous portions

2 x chicken shish wraps with salad. This is the 2nd time I've ordered the shish wraps and again absolutely lovely. Lots of chicken and importantly for us lots of fresh salad. This will be our weekly takeaway for sure.

Ordered from Just Eat, was told 40 to 50 minute wait time, arrived 1 hour 40 minutes after making the order. Soggy food, cold. Left a review on the Just Eat app as the courier couldn't explain to me why it was so late and just walked off.

If you're eating in the cafe the food is nice, plenty of it and is done in a decent amount of time. If you order takeaway- well, don't! I've given so many chances ordering different items for takeaway and each time disappointed. This time, I ordered an adult mac & cheese (which I've had in the cafe, a big portion, and everything there) and a kids sausage, mash & beans. As you can see, the mac & cheese portion size was a few mouthfuls, missing a piece of garlic bread and salad also missing. My child's meal was also missing the beans! You pay for a meal to only be given half the items (wasn't told things weren't in stock) and very pathetic portions compared to if you ate in the cafe is a bit of a joke! Also, despite having a 'collection' time, food was late as always. I give up ordering takeaways from here.
