Harbour Bakery in Thanet

Unfortunately, had an awful first experience at this bakery. No fault to the food but the owner is so rude and arrogant it’s unreal. He accused my colleague of stealing food even though he had paid and politely proved it by showing payment on his phone. He is now trying to claim that he still hasn’t paid and is shaming him on Google for supposedly “conning” one of the staff members that works there. He’s deleting honest reviews that he doesn’t like and is clearly trying to cause an issue when there isn’t one. We will not be returning and giving this man any more business

Popped here to pick up a takeaway bit of lunch when in Ramsgate. There’s plenty of selection of hot and cold sandwich fillings and also lots of cakes. The sandwiches were reasonably priced and they tasted good

OK but found it a bit overbearing with the loud rough looking regular customers inside .Very small inside with not much room to move. Sausage rolls were nice and crispy although the tea was cold.Served by a lovely polite young woman who kindly brought my things outside for me.

Bought a cake which I decided to eat inside when I noticed an ant crawling on a tart cake in the fridge! I was mortified that it completely put me off my appetite. Not only that, but what I assume was the owner of the bakery spoke to me in an appalling manner no rapport or manners, making me feel awkward and unwelcomed Some of the customers had the same attitude as the owner, very mouthy and just overall not friendly Will be finding a different local bakery for the future

Served me a mouldy eccles cake, could not offer me a reasonable explanation for it. At the time I left, they had not checked or removed the other eccles cakes in the display.

Only here will you get bread and rolls the way they used to be cooked till a nice rice brown colour and soft, not doughy in the middle, great cakes as well.

Freshly cooked pies and snacks, this place has been going for years and is still as good as I remember

Highly recommend this bakery. Every thing (except pies I think) are made on the premises by a "proper" baker. Bread, cakes and savouries are fantastic. I now buy bread here daily. The staff are good and very friendly 😃

It's one of my favourite restaurants in Thanet the food and wine are superb the staff are well trained and friendly who could ask for more
