Food smells sour. Chicken was bun up. Barely any filling in the spring rolls. Honestly I thought the food was a prank. Don’t recommend.

The BEST in South London. My Salt and Chilli ribs with rice is 10/10. Always. No other Chinese take away can match these flavours. Happy Valley is no. 1 in these streets.

Me and my other half found this Chinese by happy accident. Honestly, it is one of theee best chinese we've had in a very very very long time. We are so impressed with the flavour, choice and value. Their lunchtime deals are really delicious and such great value. We can't seem to get enough of it now we've found it! Reccommend the chicken curry with rice and the chicken in Black bean sauce with chowmein. Also, the soups are really yummy too, crab and sweetcorn was incredible, my fave so far.

Just a very very good Chinese. Cheap, tasty, and great service from the bloke. We come nearly once a week cos we like it so much. Perfect for e.g. if you're having a mental health crisis

The food here is great and the value for money is good. however the service is awful and they never seem to open at their advertised times. i stood outside today at 12.20 they had their door locked and an old woman staring through me with a blank look. Very strange and has put me off using this place going foward.

The food is good , but the person on the phone is rude , has no manners and does not take any accountability. Not too sure he should be on the phone. The guy is rude.

Thought I’d try somewhere new but wish I hadn’t. Salt and pepper chips were just french fries with some chilli flakes on them. Starters tasted like they’d come from a freezer that didn’t work properly. Beef in blackbean sauce was nice. TL;DR I wouldn’t bother

Once again. Salt & Chilli ribs with special fried rice is cooked to perfection. Very tasty and full of flavour. Super crunchy onions and the perfect amount of chilli.

I have to say thank you and big up to uncle cooking tonight (26/02/2022) at Happy Valley. My salt amd chilli ribs with special fried rice is tasting amazing. The onions are perfect. The ribs are perfect. My special fried rice is perfect. The chilli is perfect and plenty, just how i like it. Next time I come, please have the green sweetie. They are the best sweets in the pot.

Great food for great prices, and wonderful customer service - always pleasant in store and super helpful. Offered to pack my back for me when I brought one from home instead of buying the 5p ones. Super reliable and my go-to local Chinese food place.

I am not sure if those giving the positive reviews really mean it because I have just called them to place an order and the customer services is very terrible. The person who took my call was very abrupt with all the questions I tried to ask. Their food can be nice but personally I wouldn't waste my penny buying food from them anymore.

On the food standards agency they got a 0 star which means the food safety is terrible and also the food is extremely salty when u taste it you can also taste the huge amount of MSG they have just dumped in . Truly horrible never coming back

I come here once a week and get the stir fried beef hor fun (#222, £4) for lunch. Can't really vouch for anything else but this one hits the spot every time. Ask for chilli oil, fruity, fermented and spicy.

I have been going here since I was a child and it’s the best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had anywhere, ever. Absolutely faultless - fast service, tasty, hot, great customer service. I never go anywhere else.

Chicken fried rice tasteless and salt and chilli wings tasteless, burnt with a burnt taste. Not happy at all.

The food ok. However the customer service is abysmal on entering the establishment the person severing was taking an elderly woman’s order who seemed to be confused on what to order. Instead of talking her through the menu, the man abruptly told her what she wanted wasn’t on the menu. She asked for fish balls which I believe she meant prawn ball but instead of inquire if further he sent her away. On my order, I asked for chilli chicken wing as was given chicken wings without chilli. He insisted this was what I asked for and said I was unable to change my order. The customer service here is very poor. Will not be going there again

This guy is just always spot on. Customisations always right. Portions incredible. Delivery is fast and hot, and the price for everything provided is unbeatable. Wouldn't go to any other place for a perfect Chinese.

As a local, this is obviously my go-to Chinese place. The staff are friendly and caring and the food is delicious. I eat here at least once a week. If you are looking for an amazing lunchtime deal, check this one out. You get so much food for a very small price. I actually have non-local friends that crave Happy Valley and travel across town to eat it. We all decided it's just the best Chinese take out food we've tried together. I've been going here for years!

We visited Happy valley during a late night visit to London. We booked an air bnb close by and wanted soup. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, satay pork, spring rolls, and wonton soup. The portions were massive and everything tasted fresh. The wontons in my soup looked and tasted amazing. Not a shriveled frozen ball. The staff was quick and efficient.

FOR MUSLIM CUSTOMERS!! Spoke to them on the phone to ask if food is halal, he confirmed only chicken is, but cooked using the same utensils and woks as non halal meat which makes the chicken non halal.

Ordering from happy valley is the safer/tastier version of Russian roulette. Once the second delivery man comes with the rest of your order the food is lovely!! WOULD recommend to a friend! Being chinese myself, my standards for Chinese food is quite high. The food here has not let me down whenever I've ordered food. I normally order the Special Fried Rice with chill sauce, salt and chilli wings and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The chilli oil is very tasty and the owner told me it's homemade. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a reliable Chinese takeaway.
