It arrived 38 mins late which meaning it was 9.38 freezing cold so had to cook new dinner didn’t get to eat dinner until 22:30 due to having to cook

I had low expectations when ordering and was still disappointed when it finally arrived

Was worried to order due to the negative reviews on Google and some on this website but I have to say credit to the chef we enjoyed all the food apart from spare ribs they were tiny, tough and fatty. But we got everything we asked for on-time with free onion rings and this place is cheaper than most Chinese's around. Would order again happy customer 🙂

Good sized portions, reasonably priced and delivered just within stated timeframe.

I’ve used this restaurant several times but never has it been such a mess as tonight the food eventually arrived after 1.5 Hours the problem is it wasn’t my order 2.5 hours and I’m still waiting for delivery the staff at the restaurant very unhelpful and abrupt on the phone no apologies given,it’s a pity but won’t use again food has arrived but still not as ordered

not happy at all, I'm allergic to prawns and seafood, and I only got chicken and beef items but got given prawn balls when I ordered chicken balls.

Was missing 1 special fried rice

ordered 2 hours ago still not got it. been on the phone 47 times got through once was left on hold while they served 5 diffrent people entering the shop. but still no food

I ordered my food and it came to me on time but when I got the food most of it was in the bottom of the bag. I rang to let them know and they asked me to send them pictures so I did and she was trying to tell me there was nothing wrong when clearly the food was in the bottom of the bag and out of the containers. They eventually agreed send me another order but it arrived 2 hours later and was also damaged so I gave up

Hardly any chicken in the supposed chicken chow main and for an early delivery wasn’t very warm

Phoned to get a delivery was left on the phone for 5 minuets with people just speaking in the background so I ended and called back didn't get an awnser for 40 minuets lady was very rude leaving me for minuets at a time with no awnser got angry because I didn't have the postcode straight away and then proceeded to shout down the phone at me asking for phone number then left me waiting again for minuets with no awnser and hung up the phone don't waste your time even trying to get food from here

Where to start. They couldn't get an order right even if you paid them. The women that takes the order is down right rude,disrespectful and doesnt know where her bread is buttered. Food is average, service terrible, that women should not be in a customer facing role, she has zero people skills and should re consider her career if she can't recognise that the customer is the person keeping her in a job Please avoid at all cost. Not worth the time or money

Always earlier than time given. I only order for myself but always delivered hot and delicious by a friendly driver. Cannot fault them!

Nearly 2 hours between ordering and delivery. Called the restaurant twice. The first time I was hung up on and both times the staff were very rude. We were told 2 mins for delivery at this point and it was still about 35 minutes before it was delivered. Absolutely shocking. The restaurant is literally 10 minutes away.

Over an hour late - called them twice - first time I was told it was on the way and rushed off the phone - second time (30mins later) I called again as Just Eat app showed it marked as Delivered. After some discussion in the background they admitted it hadn’t gone out and was only just leaving. When it arrived one of the dishes was not as ordered. Very disappointing service this evening. Errors happen but the lack of honesty was very frustrating.

Food is absolutely disgusting whole order put into the bin chicken smelt off . Crispy chilli beef you couldn’t even chew or bite it it was rock solid even the veg was rotten would not recommend this takeaway needs closing down 🤢🤢🤢

Waited nearly 2 hours for a delivery..called after 1 hrs and 15 min they said it was on the way another 30 minutes went by and called again. Lady on phone is so rude..food turned up Luke warm, chips as dry and hard as anything, chew main was dry and Luke warm!! It used to be a really nice Chinese and our go to now we won't go back there at all!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! This woman is the rudest person I’ve ever spoken with and an absolute con artist! Called to confirm my order before collection and she told me I do not have your order. I confirmed the address and asked her to check my order number as I had been charged the money! She continued to yell over top of me, ‘I do not have your order’ then hung up the phone! I’m not the first person she’s done it too either looking at other of these reviews. Don’t trust her!!

The chicken tasted off, the pork balls are mostly fat and dough, and the rice seems like it was smothered in two-day old oil. On the bright side, the vegetables in black bean sauce and the noodles were nice.

First time ordering and food arrived piping hot and was very tasty indeed. Would recommend for sure.

Will definitely not be ordering from here again. Had to wait over an hour for the meal. Called up to cancel as it is too late. Was told by a very rude woman that I am now blacklisted as I cancelled the order. She then called me again to tell me again that I was blacklisted. Very rude. I can understand that it can get busy but for the estimated times to change and no option for us to cancel after a certain period is ridiculous. Do not order from here unless you like rude service.

Our order was not delivered.. I put the order in through just eat at 20:00 and was given a delivery time of 21:05/21:25 Tried to phone the restaurant only to find out they closed at 21:30.

Ordered from them , waited 40 minutes . Even got a message that said it’s out for delivery , only to get it cancelled as we live too far . How do you allow people to order from you if you won’t deliver to them ! Absolutely ridiculous. The lady I spoke to didn’t even offer any alternatives, she kept hanging up the phone and not really caring about the situation.

Rang tonight and was put on hold for 16 mins without them saying nothing, I could hear all the conversations in the back ground very unprofessional and then she hung the phone up. I rang back and said I was on hold for 16 mins she said yeh yeh spoke in Chinese and hung up on me. I wasn't rude and she was rude and unprofessional. I would never use these again

Absolutely awful I never complain normally but the beef in black pepper sauce was awful smelt like fish and meat was gray. Ordered chicken balls and received prawn balls luckily nobody has a shellfish allergy Vegetable spring rolls stale as if they have been sitting out from the night before. food safety and standers clearly not met.

Happy garden? There’s nothing happy about this place. The customer service is shocking, the lady is so rude not just to us but everyone in the shop I don’t know why customers put up with it and give them any custom. She don’t understand their own menu and she hides in the back when there are customers waiting. It is a shame because the food is actually quite nice but no - Never again.

was first through on the phone and made my order, an hour and a halflater It hadn't turned up so I rung 35 times before I got through half an hour later. I asked where my order was they couldn't find my order when they did they said I would have to wait another 45 minutes. I understand they can get very busy on the weekend but this is ridiculous.

Ordered food just after 5pm and didn't arrive till 7.30pm. I rung to ask where the food was and all I got told was "it is coming soon, you know its Christmas time it's very busy" no apology or estimated time and when it did arrive the food was cold. The women on the phone is probably one of the rudest people I have spoken to in a while, even placing the order I misheard what the lady was saying to me and the attitude and tone of the voice I was greeted back with was if I was a child who had done something majorly wrong. Would not order from here again.

Walked in ordered pork balls, chips, and curry sauce. Rude woman barked £10:50 at me! Asked if they took card payment only to be shouted at "NO, CASH ONLY." Then, I had to wait 20 minutes for it. Chips were dire, cold, and hard . Obviously frozen and had been sitting around for ages, not the big chunky in-house, prepared chips you'd expect from a Chinese. Pork balls were cold and soggy and tasteless. Curry sauce was bland. Never going there again 🙄

The food nasted old dunny smell to it not happy all very disappointed. I normally order from happy garden and normally its very nice but time horrible taste the beef chewmain uneaterable . The honey dew chicken very dry what happened to the honey . Pan cake rolls cold .
