Friendly staff, the food was ready when they said it would be. Probably the best tasting Chinese food I've ever ate. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

We went on bank holiday Monday 27th May and there was a young lady working all by herself on the front desk, brown hair with blonde highlights. She was absolutely lovely, and even though she had 3 phones ringing constantly and a que she handled all of the pressure really well and professionally and still with a big smile. She was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t praise her enough.

Food service was bad Their was hair in the food Dissapointing

this is the best food ever!!! all these reviews are fake. the girl in the counter was super sweet like a banana fritter with syrup. it was super busy which means good service but the food was worth waiting for. I paid with cash and she gave me a free drink. The sweet and sour sliced chicken was the best of all.

My Daughter ordered herself a Chinese after a long shift at work. She placed the order online , payment taken and she then waited 3 hrs and tried to call multiple times without a response. I called them the next day and they said they don’t take orders after 10pm so they would fulfil the order today - I politely asked if it could be scheduled for tomorrow instead as my Daughter was at work, and was told no it had been cooked and the driver was about to take it for delivery. I found this unacceptable as I called the minute the shop opened. Rude delivery driver thrust it at me without saying a word. The food was barley warm, even though it had supposedly just been cooked. I believe it had been cooked last night and then reheated for delivery today. Will not be using again - disgusting service!

The food was freshly made and tasted lovely.

45 minutes after placing a £100 order our order was cancelled. A disgusting way to treat people. Will never try ordering again and would never recommend.

Family gathering; placed a ca £100 order for set meals, and 3/4 hour later they cancelled it. What’s that all about? You are rubbish, and I can guarantee we will NEVER use you again. What’s the point of taking an order, and not being able to fulfill it? Garbage! Not happy!! Pizzas it is then 🤬

I was in shop yesterday with my partner and I was really impressed by the lady who took our order. She was very polite and we told her that we are kn rush and she said it not take long, I will do my best. We went outside, because we though in will take mininum 10 minutes. You do not believe that girl came outside wothout jacket looking for us, so we can get hot food. I never write feedbacks but this time I have to, service amazing and food was amazing.

Fast service food came on time . But the food was disgusting beef was dry and the rest of the food was tastless never again go to Hong Kong house

Very bad polite delivery. Very bad service. The restaurant never attend what we ask in the notes and the delivery shout on us in the middle of street.

Very nice food and excellent customer service. They have even recooked food when an order was incorrect and we popped there and picked it up. Fair prices for a chinese, i do recommend you give them a try

Lovely food and the young girl behind the counter is just so polite and lovely I always see her in there walking past on my way home and she always waves. She is a Credit to her parents.

I once rated this Chinese a 5 star for good service quality and prices!! However over the years the food has gone rubbish and bad quality, stuff always missing from the order, prices have gone very high. The new Chinese I order from charges £4. For chow main ect and here its a extra £1 on most dishes plus . The delivery time is ridiculous even midweek it's an nearly a 2 hour wait Will no longer be ordering I highly recommend golden Express stifford Clay's crammavil street for the best Chinese

Like other reviewers I have been using Beijing Chef for over 20 years and can’t understand what is going on. Food is always late, tried picking up ( before C19) and always sat waiting for at least 20mins regardless of when they said it would be ready. Every other phone call was a complaint either late food,wrong order delivered or people chasing up their delivery.The last 3 deliveries have been late and missing key dishes and the last one didn’t even turn up, double checked the order and received email confirming 8.15pm delivery which was 90mins after placing order. Waited until 9pm then ordered a pizza which took 20mins.They keep pushing there own website as I feel they don’t like poor reviews on just eat.No reply from email I sent.Sadly I won’t be going back

Ordered from Beijing Chef in few occasions and every time food was super delicious and i was very happy with customer service. Happy to recommend it to anyone.

After using these guys for about a year I called to order a takeaway (about £35 worth) the guy on the phone said “we don’t deliver there as it’s too far (it’s a 10 minute drive and they’ve delivered to me at least twice a month for a year) I said I’ve been ordering from you guys for over a year and you always deliver here and he basically called me a liar and said no we don’t and we never have ??? Was very rude. They’ve delivered food super late before and sent the wrong items from time to time but used them because they usually offered to fix issues with no issues. But since all of those purchases don’t exist anymore I’d say don’t order from there. Genuinely really rude and I’ll take my business back to Canton Chef

Very disappointed. First time have i got given burnt chow mein!!!Actual black burnt bits throughout dish. What makes them think they can dish this up and not think people will notice. Wont be ordering from here again.

Very very disappointed. Usually order from here but will definitely be finding a new Chinese take away. Missing item from order. Food was like warm, special fried rice was more like egg fried rice hardly any meat, chips were hard and under cooked. Was actually horrible!

I ordered chinese yesterday last night and i ended up vomiting after 1 hour, i had a terrible stomach pain i thought i was going to die, never order from t hem again terrible service and i had to wait over 1 hour for the order to come, soup wasnt nice and the chicken wasnt properly cooked. refuse this chinese Beijing chinese in grays very bad. I called for a refund, never paid back. still waiting for the refund.

We regularly use this takeaway and it delivers hot tasty food in good time.On odd occasions I have crispy chilli beef and tonight was no exception.However the dish tasted less chilli and more sweet and sour, shame because it’s usually good.Everything else was hot and tasty.Will probably stick to our normal order next time.

I order regularly from here as the food is ok.normally turns up warm but the delivery service is so so poor get told 40 minutes and regularly late it’s turns up in 90 mins.when you speak to the driver advising him so he is so rude and not a very good face for take away.

Terrible Chinese. Customer service absolutely appalling. Was told the wait time was an hour. 2 hours later they told me they didn’t know how long it would be. It finally arrived after 2 hours and 15 mins and the food was stone cold. I then told them I wanted a refund and they told me I couldn’t have a refund because I had the food. Use golden express which is a much better Chinese anyway. I only used Beijing chef because original wait time for golden express was over an hour. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!

Ordered via Just Eat. Quoted an hour. Food arrived cold after 2 hours and 2 phone calls. Do not order from here on a Friday night. Clearly cannot deal with volume of orders, and sent driver out with way too many drops. Usually pretty good, but awful service and on this occasion, couldn't even tell us how long our replacement food would be because 'all our drivers are out.'

Ordered last night for my husband and myself.so bad we couldn't eat it.crispy beef was so cheery it was obviously recooked again and again.we ordered mixed prawn ,chicken and pork balls ,we got no prawns.never again

Driver very good ! Sometimes food is good sometimes is not depend on the cook. Tonight I order for extra 6 Prawn & they put 4 this is going to be the 2nd time doing this which am not happy about.

Have been using this take away for a few years now and have absolutely no complaints with the food but just recently every order arrives wrong it ruins the meal because we would like to eat what we actually ordered hot and not wait for the rest of the meal to arrive after a phone

Absolute disgusting customer service, we called in and ordered food to take away the blonde oriental lady that served us wad arrogant and a liar after we arrived home we realised they hadn't put a part of the order in the bag, after ringing for them to deliver the rest of my order which is literally 5min drive away the so-called attendant tried to tell me I hadn't ordered what I'd received well going off their menu I had she basically told me it was tuff, do not eat here the food is second class and the service is below that

O lord! If you order from BC, be sure to go to the shop and order it, reason being, if you order online or via telephone, they'll give you a 40 minute estimated delivery time. From my numerous experiences, add another 40mins - 1hr 30 mins on top of that (even on weekdays when not so busy compared to a Friday/Saturday night). If you call to ask about the status of your order, its some how always on its way (no matter how many times you call back to find out). Customer service is poor as well especially if you are 'polite'. If you are direct/rough, I found I get a better response (funny that). And the worst part about the customer service is, even when the food is over an hour and a half late, don't expect an extra bag of prawn crackers or a free drink, or even an apology. As for food quality, honestly, its ok, nothing special, bog-standard Chinese food. Just a shame it takes so long to get delivered (as if it was coming from China herself). :(

My food came 3 hours late and when i got it it tasted disgusting i was horrified aswell as appalled by the quality of the food. The delivery lady reeked of nicotine and the smell of my food was off putting. Avoid this chinese shop at all cost ‼️

The food is just outstanding, they have a good customer service system as well. I will defiantly recommend to people.
